No written updates yesterday? Oh well!
One thing I didn't like yesterday was how when Lav defiantly insisted on going to the forests and Sita refused, the old woman tried to convince Sita otherwise, and when Sita explained her reasons, she still was granting Luv permission. What was worse was when Valmiki arrived and Luv asked him permission, he granted it. I didn't like the way the kids were taught that if their mother refused permission to do X, others could override it. Even if Valmiki and the Nani-ji disagreed with Sita, they should have, imo, supported the decision on this occasion, and maybe on a future occasion convinced her to stay in the forest.
Incidentally, while I liked Sita being protective about her kids, taking them on her lap and disallowing them to go to the forest, how's that consistent with yesterday's episode when she had them lying on the hard ground and then under a tree? Usually moms are more protective of infants, and tend to let go as the kids grow: here, Sita started by being hard on the babies, but is now affectionate towards the kids. I'm glad she is, but this is a bizzare plot, regardless of where it comes from.
