Yup! And he looks interested in Zoya, as a bonus!

@divc ...no I have no biases though I am a huge admirer of Karan's talent since long before QH ...from his Dr Armaan days.To this day 2 episodes of DMG is my daily dose to unwind before hitting the sack :)

The show does not need to shut down but definitely needs some crisp editing. It should not be stretched like elastic till it snaps .

Dear Go4welkin :)
.
The reason I referred to QH and Karan's exit here is because this reflects the chaos that reins in the television industry. If Channels functioned professionally all this would not happen .eg..if there was a definite close ended script and pre-production work completed before shooting commenced it would have been a win win situation for everyone...CH/PH/Actors/CVS/ Techies and last but not the least we the viewers.

I have the bigger picture in mind and the QH muddle is topical and consuming the minds of all here ...therefore I picked on it as an example ...otherwise such events rock the industry ever so often

Zee erred in casting aspersions on an actor and bringing his personal life into the picture .This should have been avoided because we as audience are not concerned with the star's private lives..just his acting prowess. This just compounds the chaos that exists in teleworld.

Some channels do handle such issues more professionally ...others need to take a leaf out of their book

It is difficult to compartmentalize issues that are interrelated . I use one as an example to highlight the other. If the industry functioned within rules I visualize a season one for QH where the story could have reached its logical end and maybe a closure with the much awaited nikah. After a break we could have Season Two with new entrants if required . The angst would have been diluted .

It is Zee that has created the confrontation and to my mind it was totally avoidable.

May I request discussion without bashing so the thread does not close up? It is interesting to hear opposing points of view and understand each other.

The only thing I agree is the intro of seasons concept in Indian TV industry for general good but I wouldn't want to take sides in Actor and Channel fight as I don't know the real facts except conflicting articles floating in the media. Generally, in such issues, mistakes will be on both ends at least to some extent because no channel will risk losing an ace actor unless they have strong reasons and no actor will lose interest just like that in a show that brought him awards and more credibility as an actor even if it goes beyond the stipulated time. Both might have their reasons but was not timely and rightly communicated causing irreconcilable differences. As a viewer I am still being entertained by QH and I will leave it at that.
