I have been a viewer of this show from day 1 and obviously I see many changes if I compare it to what it was when it began. I see a good execution and tight story once and weak at one point. But which show does not go through these changes? TV has seen the worse. Compared to the kitchen dramas and monotonous stories nowadays QH is yet an extremely mature and sensible narration and so far has been managed pretty well. I have loved Karan as Asad too, but now that he has left the show, for his health or because of displeasure whatever it is. That does not mean the show should end, and the careers of so many others attached it should be put to stake? The story should be left unsaid?

I agree Karan was an extremely important part of the show and many viewers might have stopped watching the show because he left, but there are many who got on board to watch it as well. And the numbers show it. The TRP has risen in the last few weeks, so obviously people are enjoying the 'story' and I don't think the general audience goes so deep in scrutinizing small details like we do.

I believe the show is doing pretty decently, I am enjoying it and I see visible difference in RaQesh daily. We can never expect him to fit in the shoes of Karan ever, because not only is he a different person/actor but also because he hasn't been with the show or character from the day of its inception, that difference will always be there. And he's been here just for a month and there is a year long of episodes and story behind him, can't expect him to be caught on to everything so soon.

The makers have had to deal with a lot of exits, new faces, new screen tests and so on, with so much going on mistakes happen. But even with the worst crisis surrounding them they have kept a hold on their show and it YET remains consistent in its numbers, for which I would clap for them in appreciation rather than demean all that effort and not watch the show I have loved from forever.

I agree though that they definitely need to keep track of every nuance they had themselves etched for the character of Asad and make sure they execute and write the script keeping it in mind.

Do the cast and crew who are working hard to counter the unpalatable situation they're put in because of the channel or actor (who knows) figure in your calculation at all? Or is it okay to have a couple of hundred people lose their jobs so fans get to fulfill some sense of schadenfreude? If QH is awful, then the numbers will automatically doom it. I do not understand the invocations to watch it or not watch it to prove a point.

Zee will hardly be overly concerned about one show on one of their 30-plus channels. If QH stops working, Zee's going to shrug it off and commission some other show. QH is not the lynchpin keeping Zee in business.

Yes, it would have been great if KSG was around especially with AsYa nikaah around the corner. I agree with you that the way he played Asad was phenomenal. But neither was he nor is Raqesh writing the character. Beherhaal, the show is quite entertaining and I will keep watching. If it turns ridiculous, like it did from August to December, I'll quit again. I am not going to quit though for some contradictory sense of solidarity.

Thanks for the enlightment.
Asad had pretty much died much before KSG's exit.
It has been bought back to life by Raquesh.

You can mourn Asad's death, while I enjoy his nikaah.😆

Asad's Character Went Down To The Hell The Day Cvs Came Up With Najma Imraan's Love Story n Made Asad Nikhat's Sautela Bhai In Every Sense, Even KSG Knows This, That NajRaan Track Changed The Whole Dynamics Of Qubool Hai,

That Tim Only KSG n KaBhi Holds Viewers Interest But Everything Has A Limit n ZoYaan aur Qureshi Drama Crossed All The Limits n Then The Famous Replacement Murdered Asad Completely!

n About Nikhat Tho All I Have To Say Is She Deserved The Best But She Got The Wrost,

Baki No Comments!

Great post and it highlights many of the concerns that fans have RE QH now. I agree the issue is wider than this show and needs to be addressed! They cannot drag shows for years and keep changing the story and the characters to suit!!

There is NO logic in a lot of the stories on Indian TV! I am new to Indian TV and have only watched a few shows. But even in those shows I have found that there has been many things lacking. Logic being the most apparent. In order to drag a show, they change the story, the characters even sometimes the whole essence of the show! The CV's seem to think that the audience has forgotten the premise at which they started! It is idiotic! They seem to assume that only dumb fools with a lot of free time watch these shows!! But some of us are very busy people who MAKE the time to watch their shows. Most of the time online too wasting our data!! (I am an overseas viewer), or subscribing to their channel. So at the very least we deserve some respect from the channel and production houses of these shows, but we are not getting it!!

You are right that something does need to change. For someone that is used to western tv and movies etc, the idea of a dragged show over 5 years with NO story, is a novel concept! I fail to understand the point of it. I never watched UK or US soaps coz I just can't stand them! Indian shows are a lot more entertaining, but can really do with a sea change! After all the soaps are not that much a prime time thing in the west, but it is in India. An overhaul is needed to retain the good talent and prevent burn out and dissatisfaction with the story and character etc!!

Gul Khan seems to be a lot more creative and think outside the box than the Ekta's of this world. (never watched a K serial and never will)!! It insults my intelligence. Therefore at least Gul should try to change the way these shows are made and not prostitute her product for money!!

You can state your opinion, it is only fair.
if i state mine, it is shoving my opinion on the TM.

And still it is a free world.
and moreover everyone is entitled to their opinion.

well,i agree that the storyline of QH has been very illogical in numerous points...but even at it's worst QH is far far better than most other shows that are currently running...
