I think if you are not on the same boat as the other's you are rude. The rules are plain and simple. If you disagree, you are to be and should be called rude. Period.

Thank you everyone who agrees but a bigger thank you to those who disagreed :) I welcome all viewpoints ..even those that contradict my own as they show me where I have been wrong. Thank you for the corrections:)

I am sorry for not acknowledging everyone indiidually but want to share that I appreciate all of you for your patience in reading this very lengthy spiel.

No this was not meant to be a post to eulogise Karan ..he does not need my praise.For me the decline was connected to his exit as I feel he kept it breathing while he was there. It may not be what all feel but I hope I will be allowed my say just as I welcome those who differ.

A friend has mentioned that she could not remember the start as she reached the end ..I agree with her whole heartedly. I too suffered the same as I digressed from the changes in QH to putting forward my views on what can be done to improve the situation across the board .Pardon my excesses.

For those who are left wondering how I gathered so much change without watching...well I am a career academic and a professor ...taught so much without actually seeing it ..eg ..marine geography without having been to the bottom of the sea !

Let me rest my case before this too exceeds the limit. That also is a professionl hazard... to go on till the bell rings !

Just one request ..please do not bash anyone. We are allowed to disagree without attacking

each other.

seriously why cant people accept that the show is doing well and is much better than the trash we saw for a few months ( enduring what not !)

if we ( a sizeable audience as reflected that the show is still in the top 10 ) dont have an issue appreciating a new guy who is trying so hard and is doing so well considering that he is so new why should there be any problem at all ! and yes i too am growing fond of him ..he has his own charm and brings his own freshness and novelty even though its next to impossible to match the calibre of the earlier actor.

and no harm in having another cuter version !

and yes its a show in totality which works

i fail to see the point of such posts.

Well for me every Indian show on tv is crap ! Qubool hai caught my eye Bcoz it was a Muslim show and as a Muslim I wanted to watch it .. The story was great .. 2 step brothers , a love story .. 2 warring families .. A little drama , a little love and romance .. Then like all Indian show a villain or 2 which was annoying but was watchable ..

KSG made Asad the angry man lovable and then the writers screwed everything up .. And raqesh has come and brought a new vibe to the character .. But the story if qubool hai still sucks .. From the beginning to now we are still waiting for a nikaah - we knew Gaffur was her father and razia killed her mother since 8 months ago and still waiting for zoya to find out .. Many of us say we are enjoying the story now but truthfully there is no story .. Qubool hai is going round and round and round since they started !

Even with the nikaah .. 4th time to say yes ? Even if Karan was here I would not have been that excited .. And u want the honest truth .. Nobody is watching for the story coz it sucks .. No one was watching for the asya chemistry for a long time coz it got boring and still is boring .. The only ppl who are watching are those ppl who love drama .. And that's what qubool hai is producing at the moment ! Plain drama ..

Qubool hai to reach the top again has to be constant in the story .. Make Asad and zoya have actual chemistry and then keep the story and romance constant to stay at the top .. Bcoz with a show like JA to compete against QH has to be brilliant which they are not ..

Anyway like all other Indian shows qubool hai is slightly better but it's not the best ..

Thanks...I feel like I did some useless good today. I was hunting for logic a long time ago, but then instead I made some awesome friends and said bye bye to Logic. Lols...Anu will vouch for this.

What can I say to thank you for your patient effort to dissect my long spiel so adroitly? A warm hug is what I can come forward with just now ! An excellent moderator for the debate .

My discourse had two sections to it I guess ,but my prime concern was the entire TV industry .I am not a regular TV buff .Before this the last one I watched was Kuchh toh log kahenge which unfortunately met the same fate when Mohnish Bahl quit ...when we were all hooked to the serial and we were all left high and dry. I use the example of QH to bring home the point that TV has to provide something for all sections of the audience. We all require some light entertainment at the end of the day.

I do have a blog of sorts ..actually a FB Group where we have been discussing this .Am guilty of allowing my core concerns to spill over but am grateful for the different points of view.

Anyone interested in sharing viewpoints can PM me and I can provide access to the FB Group. Will welcome everyone wholeheartedly ...but no bashing.
