I don't think there was any inconsistency or loophole. He just wanted to know where she is and how she is. He didn't wait for her because she didn't wanna meet anybody and he's just respecting her choice. He doesn't wanna force her. And the another reason he's not meeting her is because he thinks he's guilty. He doesn't think he deserves her. He's dying in his guilt. So how do you expect him to face her or force her once again after thinking he's the reason of her such state?

I saw a man not desperate enough...it doesn't matter what he feels right now about himself...as a zoya fan all I have seen is his insults and abuse on her till now...it's a viewer I am not convinced of his love for her...he didn't even try in my eyes.

it's really amazing the way I see everyone supporting Asad's character...to a point where members are disrespectful to others...anyways, I as a viewer is very sure of what I think of Asad's character and I believe that it is a very weak character...and yes he is guilty but for once he needs to stop wallowing in himself and think about Zoya's state.

I didn't see that as selfless...on the contrary I saw that as very selfish...considering he is the one for whom she is in such a bad state...he just walks away...it was not convincing at all.

it's not about his feelings, sorrow or pain anymore...it's about Zoya and the pain he has caused her. It's about him asking for her forgiveness.
