...he has supposedly not seeng her over a month...just found out from the man how miserable she is...but instead of wanting to see another glimpse of her...to talk to her...to hold her...he just drives away...

Why didn't he wait there in his car and be persistent...why didn't he plead with the people to let him see her...talk to her for once?

Oh yes he is a man of principles but I expected a little more desperation and eagerness from him...

Gul khan fix the loopholes and inconsistencies...it's getting worse.

Because he thinks he is not Worth of her..and it will cause pain to her..

and he cant tolerate the fact that..he will cause more pain to her...

he just wants to know if she is fine and safe...

I thought so too, but when I thought about it makes sense. The way he cursed himself to be punished so he would never hurt anyone again. Then why would he want to come in front of her when He knows it'll cause her pain? He's not trying to prove his innocence. If he was, I'm 100% sure that he would stay there all night waiting, and then some.

I don't think there was any inconsistency or loophole. He just wanted to know where she is and how she is. He didn't wait for her because she didn't wanna meet anybody and he's just respecting her choice. He doesn't wanna force her. And the another reason he's not meeting her is because he thinks he's guilty. He doesn't think he deserves her. He's dying in his guilt. So how do you expect him to face her or force her once again after thinking he's the reason of her such state?

Because he is guilty, he feels he is responsible for her pain, he wouldn't want to cause more trouble to her, disobey the elderly who said he wouldn't allow him to meet her, disturb the others including the kids in that orphanage and so on. Waiting there and creating a scene would not only trouble her but even the others there. He has always never heard of her but now he wants to do as she says..I don't think he's in the a state to want anything more than her safety because he doesn't think he's capable of anything more.

There is a limit to where you can even point out at wrongs in a show or character when there are non lol :\

I thought that was a very beautiful scene- it was a transition from the Asad who asked, 'Where did you go, Zoya', to 'What did I do to you, Zoya?'...he just realised where she had been to, what HE HAD PUSHED HER INTO...his pain is deserved, HERS IS NOT...he leaves, cursing himself- because HE RESPECTS HER FEELINGS, OF NOT WANTING TO SEE HIS FACE- he i snot allowed even that one small luxury- truly, he has cursed himself to a worse fate than what he already is in...there is a lot of pain there- when you find it, you will not be disappointed...😊

I actually loved the fact that he wasn't insistent upon seeing Zoya..He just wanted to know if she was all right..Thats selfless love and angst at its best..Asad is convinced he is unworthy of Zoya..He doesn't want her back in his life..He just wants her to be happy..The kind of self loath he has at the moment, the last thing he'd do is force those people to let him see Zoya..

Well said...when one thinks he is not suitable or hurt you,he cannot face you...he waited for her,knowing zoya desperate..but she didn't turn up but invain left from there as he doesn't want to hurt zoya more...but he will not leave zoya in pain...he will come back for her and maybe wanted to say pleas zoya don't suffer for a person like me...thats what he said when he mentioned himself as the person who caused her this mch pain...
