Sure. Here we go. Laila I agree with everything you said. You're absolutely right. I hope that's fine?

How sweet, but you must agree from the heart and you don't but thank you for at least trying 🤗

i will be the first one to say that there is absolutely no reason for asad to raise his hand on Zoya but sometimes you do have to look at the situation. Asad has lived for his mother and sister . In his mind the attack on his mother was due to Zoya interfering in a strangers life. his mother was dying and he blamed zoya for it. Many times even if it is by an accident some spouses blame each other for death of their child and resent each other. so same thing was then and zoya herself was feeling guilty because in the begining she also thought that it was due to mariam that attackers had come.

So I can see why she did not react strongly to the slap but yes asad has verbally chastised zoya too often and I am glad that she faught back today. It is growth for both of them. I dont remember why but once zoya thought that asad was going to slap her again and she had flinched. Asads expression was like he had died. but aaj zoya ne asad ke vaat laga di.

And MORE excuses explaining Asad's slap and why Zoya did not need to stand up to the slap.

I am stunned at the responses. So Zoya does not need to speak up when she is slapped - we can find multiple excuses but when she dresses like (clearing throat cause you don't want to know what I want to say here), she suddenly finds her voice and gets all defense. Clearly a confused value system presented on this show. Very confused.
And which liberal Muslim girl here does not like sarees? Seriously - we're all finding execuses to wear them even my conservative cousin who wears a hijaab wears them!
It sad this had to be a Muslim show. I'd rather they were any other religion or none at all.
The show is a total insult to Muslim women.

Why are your opinions so subjective. The statement in bold is just ridiculous. So all liberal Muslim girls must love wearing sarees, why?

You seem quite bothered with my comment here but not in the bit irked that the writers do not have Zoya speaking up against being slapped or the ecxues put forth by others excusing Asad's behavior. My opinons and how subjective I am are a lot more dangerous. Interesting.

I never said your opinions were more dangerous. I've written several posts and comments about the slap when it aired MONTHS ago and have no interest in going back there. Actually I have no problem about your opinion regarding the slap because thats your opinion. You're entitled to it. My issue is on how you feel you can speak for all liberal Muslim women? What makes you think that all liberal women love wearing sarees?
