Why we are going bonkers.. because Zoya wore micro-mini or hold her ground against the crap😕

Exactly!

The slap then was an outburst of Asad'd love for his mom

That's not a good enough excuse though, and she should bring this up at some point - CVs hint here - plot point on this please😉!

Sorry but I am bewildered. Zoya stands up for wearing a micromini but she cannot stand up when she's being slapped. Hello?
How is this supposed to be progessive or the sign of a confident woman? Total joke. It's pathetic.

Good point at least she started some where, she needs to go further no doubt!
What what would you have her do otherwise, scuttle way or allow herself to be slapped for the skirt too?

There are so many illogical situations that portrayed this young woman and the family incorrectly, why pick on this again and again and make it the litmus test.

If I were to use your logic, and accept that they are not portraying Muslim women correctly and that all non Muslims will believe this is what Muslim women do then let me give you a few more examples that you should have picked on long before the skirt:

() An educated young girl, just sits around at home, wasting her time running around an abusive character - that is the norm.

() Her wonderful sister who loves her so much, wants to get rid of her, by getting her married twice. First without checking properly about the BG or her view on whether she wants to be married or not agrees to a Rishta with Akram! So the girls if they do nto want to be married run away int he last minute, not just Zoya, even Miriam.
After that fiasco, Zeenat finds out her sister is engaged to this good looking rich guy, so she asks him one question in public and concludes that "yes" he is right life partner for her, even though her sister is telling her it is a lie. My god who need enemies when we have sisters like this! Again we non Muslims watching the show will conclude this the norm.

() Having extra marital affairs is the norm, both Rashid and Gaffour had them. That is what they showed since we non Muslims have no brains we believe everything we see.

() Killing people is a time pass for correctly dressed women - Razia and Tanveer. They follow the dress code so that must be the norm.

() Rich guys spend their day lecturing people on the dress code or buying presents for their life partners after they abuse them. The money makes itself, they never go to the office at all!

()when you become a mom you loose your brain if you ever had one and become illogical and irrelevant people. All you care about is your "shouher" - Shireen. You put your kids through hell but my god nothing can happen to your love! Oh also you think your kid is a burden, because of her skin color and therefore are ready to go beg an abusive family to not break the Rishta!

() Girls are born only to be married, Nikhat ki shaadhi, Humera ki shaadhi, Zoya ki shaadhi... I am surprised Najma or Noosrat ko abhi tak kyun choda!

There are so many situations to harp on the incorrect portrayal of the culture, but no only the skirt matters! And as long as you harp on this I will harp on the opposite😃

I would love to work where you do for many reasons😉
(1) you have a lot of time to post all these messages
(2) you have time to discuss what you have posted
(3) your coworkers have the time to discuss this back with you
I dont work now, but when I did I never had time for tv shows let alone posting about them. I dont know about you, but I love your job!

Obviously the above is tongue in cheek no offense intended!
