No one said Zoya DOESNT need to speak up. We're just giving an explanation as to maybe why she didnt.

Does anyone who wear a miniskirt a s**t or a wh**e or trashy? (That's what you want to say right?)
She wore the skirt for 5 minutes and its like a crime.

If everyone is finding excuses to wear sari's does not mean that Zoya should enjoy wearing them also. Is there something wrong because she doesn't like them? All my friends find excuses to wear heels for every little reason. I don't like them so I choose to wear high tops. Is that a problem too?

I don't know if I'm gunna make any sense here but in my honest opinion, the reason she didn't say anything was because she understood the situation and what he must be going through. At that time, his mom was on death bed and that was his impulsive reaction. If it was any other time, he wouldn't have done it. I'm not saying what he did was right but sometimes emotions bring out the worst of us and that's what happened with him. It wasn't on purpose, so I guess Zoya forgave him. If it was any other time, do you think Zoya would have let him go like that? I do not think so. Sometimes situation and circumstances matter.

Today, I didn't understand how come all of the sudden she snapped but I'm glad she did. Asad got told! Maybe she's had enough? Maybe because of Tanveer too? Tanveer is always dressed up as Asad would like but now she knows her real self.

I don't know if I made any sense but in my head it all makes sense. I'm sorry if I couldn't put my thoughts across in a proper way!

No, but it beens with an s and ends with a K.
The fact that you're taking about high tops and wondering if that is a proble for me clearly shows how much you have ignored the point made.

I totally get it, but the situation's all different woman. Asad's ammi was almost on the verge of dying and all Zo could do was sympathize with that suffering man. Of course that slap still somewhere belittles my pride but then lets be fair, their relation now is on whole lot of different level than it was back at that moment. I mean the two situations are not even worth comparing. And on other note, today's outburst was rather clustered from what she has gone through because of him emotionally since day 1, so it's fair enough, the outburst and I'm just too happy today about it. It was actually the correct moment! ⭐️

Even afterwards she NEVER brought up the issue of the slap as something that was wrong. Er, don't liberal, confident and progressive women do this or does it not matter. Does the fact that she is wearing a micro mini the only thing of importance to her? If so, she is horribly superficial as a character.

Ok you mean she dressed like a skank?
Point made? I thought you were just ranting as usual. 😆 My bad.
The high tops was just a comparison to your statement about liberal Muslim girls liking to wear sari's.

Laila what we are trynna say is she understood where he was coming from and she knows it wasn't intentional from his side. He wasn't in his senses. She knows he wouldn't do it normally. He just got carried away by his emotions. So, she understands, hence didn't complain about it later neither did she bring it up.

you mean when Asad hit her. i really cant believe that anybody would comper that incident to a backward mantelity. are you trying to say that Asad is a woman beater. and that Zoya should have spoken against his action, or anybody else.
i'm all against a man lifting his hand to beat a woman, my father was a wife beater. so i should know.
when Asad hit Zoya it was out of grief and fear of loosing his mother, at that moment he lashed out at the person he believed to be responsible for his mother getting short. she was dying and he wasnt thinking straight. he didnt hit Zoya to subdue her, or for the show of power.
that one act of lifting his hand on Zoya was driven by grief. i sure if tomorrow the slaps Tanveer for trying to kill Zoya you wont call him a woman beater.
there is a huge difference in the action of lashing out in grief or anger and the mental pleasure of overpowering of women by physical abuse. please know the differenence before accusing a person of having a backward mind set.
