Another dawn, another sunrise, another morning and another day; It happens every day. Like an universal routine, it happens every day. I want to stop it, but I know I can't, it would happen like clockwork, & it has become a part of my life. Life!! Yes, it's life as I'm breathing till this date. And I know I can't escape it, but it's equally difficult to accept it.
Life is a chameleon, it changes its color everyday, every moment, and the irony is we come to know after it changes its form. However, sometimes those colors left stains. And this time, this stain is irremovable.
Once I was a happy go lucky guy, a fortunate one who is blessed with someone's unconditional love, a brother like friend and a perfect life of my own. I led my life of my own and one day I found myself struggling in between my principles and my love. My duty took her away from me, & also everything I had. I had lost my friend, my perfect life and cause of living, I was scattered into pieces; but my breath surprised me. I thought I was dead, but I was respirating. Then he came, and asked me to resume my unfinished work, he said I was breathing only for it, he said I couldn't escape my duty, he said I couldn't break my oath, he demanded me to move on, toward my destiny, my goal to bring justice for my lost love...& others who lost their loved ones and couldn't fight for their own.
Then I reborn, from ashes of my perfect life and stepped into another world but that thing came along with me, the scars of my lost battle, the pain of losing my life. They hunt me every single day and I know there is no escape.
Again I found my life, a new one, too many new people was there, and that former friend also, who denied to recognize me again. Who declared his friend dead and started to treat me as a stranger. I saw those eyes on that familiar face, & found pain and hatred into those. I accepted them as punishment of my mistakes I've done, of failing to keep my promise of keep her safe.
But I didn't fail to notice his care for me, and also noticed that concern into those new people's eyes. Suddenly I found a place full of people who cares for me, for each other...I found a family of my own. And I lost that family again. Another scar added on my old one...& that just deepened that scar. Again I cut a round figure, again everything turned down into ashes, again I lost everything and this time my trust on everything.
And then It started again, a little differently, that whispering voice added into my nightmare. First I thought it's my illusion, But it happens everyday...I can neither stop seeing her die nor hearing that voice. I know it's not her, but it hers. I can't forget her eyes looking at me for the last time nor her voice "I do believe you". Moreover, I don't want to hear that voice. It hunts me, pushes me to a deep dark canyon, which has no end. Why she'd found her place into my nightmare? What does she want to tell me? Why her voice rings into my ears, why she keep telling me "I do believe you"?
Who was she to me? Nobody, A person around me who didn't leave an opportunity to show hr care and affection, a person who always sympathized on my wounded life, who always tried to be officious on every matter regarding me. She never left an opportunity to disgust me with hr immature banters, illogical theories, childish antics and that sugary smile. But sometimes it felt like she has something hidden inside her which I used to ignore. She was nothing but a headache and she is still one. And now she sat inside my head and playing her voice like a broken record "I do believe you"!
