Arjun woke up from his sleep. Again that nightmare. He stretched his hand for a glass of water and found it empty. After meeting that new neighbor, first time he forgot to put water in bedside table, because he was trying to figure out how her eyes and voice was alike two different people!!
He got up and moved to his window. That room is dark, it must be obvious, because all don't has to go through nightmares like him. He sighed, took his jug and headed to the kitchen area, when he saw Karan was working on a bike.
Arjun frowned. Karan is working at this hour, usually at this hour he returns from his late night party. He moved to that busy mechanic.
Arjun : Koi naya order?
Karan : Haan, uss kamini Dayan ki order hain, bike chahiya, subha!! Aab tu hi bol Shera, 4 saal se jis bike ne suraj ka chehra nahi dekha, usko overnight thik kiya jaa sakta hain kya?
Arjun : Par tere liye toh yeh koi mushkil baat nahi hain...
Karan : Iss musibat kii chakkar main aaj mujhe aapna date cancel karna para!! Aaaj tak kisi ladki ka dil nahi tora maine..lekin iss Kambakth Di ke liye..
Arjun : (Sat on the car bonnet) Why you call her Di? Itni elder to nahi hain tujhse?
Karan : Nahi..actually 2 years younger hain.(he was tightening some screw)
Arjun : toh Why Di?
Karan : Uski naam hi aisa hain. Dishari...uska short form hain Di. Haan..Disha ya Dish bulaya ja sakta tha..but pata nahi kaise Di hi settle hogaya.
Arjun : Aur tujhse kaise mili?
Karan : Saamne wala makan uski hain. Actually uski dad kii. Colonel Tandon. Waise who yahan rahta nahi tha, Shrinagar main unki posting thi. Yahan unki wife aur Di hi thi. Mrs. Tandon College main professor thi aur Di unhi ki college jaati thi. But faculty alag thi. Di aapni scooti aur aunty ne unki car ki servicing wagera mere yahan se hi karwati thi.
Arjun : But tujhse Di ki dosti kaise hui?
Karan : Baccha party..uska vi aadat thi besahara bacchon ki help karna, woh training main jaane tak bacche mera kam aur uski dewane jyada the.
Arjun : Usne Service kyun chori?
Karan : Pura kahani mujhe pata nahi... aunty se suna tha kii kuch terrorists ne uski convoy ki raaste main mines plant ki thi... bas kuch jawan bach gaye the, Di ki vi haalat critical thi, pure 6 month ke liye hospitalized thi. Then Colonel saab aaye aur faisla suna dia ke who law school join karegi.
Arjun : Phir?
Karan : Di sharif bacchi thi...dad ki baat maan lia.
Arjun : Yeh parents vi hamesha aapni baat bacchon pe kyun thop deta hain. Specially betion pe. Waise iske parents?
Karan : Aunty Shrinagar gaye the aapni Colonel se milne. Kahi jaa rahe the dono...Landslide main unki car khai main gir gayee.
Arjun : Hmm, tab Disha kahan thi?
Karan : Yehi thi. In fact, next day she was going to give them a surprise visit for their wedding anniversary ...but kismet ka koi kya karr sakta hain! Ulta usko hi surprise mil gayee.
Arjun : Kaafi thes pounchi hogi usko..
Karan : Haan, but yeh ladki solid hain, bohot jaldh samhaal gayee.
Arjun : Aur yahan se dusre jagah pe chali gayee.
Karan stopped working at looked at Arjun, shocked.
Arjun : What?
Karan : Ek baat bata Shera, raat kii 3.30 pe tu uss Di pe itna interest kyun dikha raha hain?
Arjun : Kuch nai, tu kaam kar.
Arjun expired to the kitchen area. Poured some water and drank. He was thinking about the information he got now. So, this mysterious girl is not that mysterious, but still something is not in place. Kuch toh choot raha hain, lekin kya?

She was lying on the bed and looking at the luminous screen of her laptop. A profile was open there. Her eyes were fixed on it but she was not seeing that page at all, her brain was working on something else.
Her chain of thoughts broke by the vibration of hr phone. She looked at the caller ID and smiled. He never stops caring for her. she took the call and silently listened to the other end and she didn't know when she reached to her window. The only word she uttered before ending the call was "No". She looked at the window opposite to hers and noticed a movement. He is up. Some peoples are not so lucky to have sound sleep. She sighed, moved to her bed and looked at the face on the screen before closing it. Maybe he would have to bare it throughout his life.
She silently retired from her room. She needed some fresh air.

Next morning, Simran entered the garage with breakfast and found Arjun sitting at his usual place and an all-over dirty karan knocked out on a bench.
Simran : Haayo rabba!! Yeh kya hogaya? Karan!!
Karan jumped up from his sleep, startled.
Karan : Kya!!
Simran : Tu aise kyun so raha tha? Aur yeh Di ki bike hain na?
Karan : Haan, usi kamini ki hain...waise tri Di hain kahan?
Di : turn around darling. I'm here.
That made both Karan and Arjun jump up. Karan, to her sudden presence and Arjun to her voice.
Karan : Arre meri vootni, aate waqt aawaz kia karr!! Darake maarna chahti hain kya?
Both looked at her. Today she wore a black denim, indigo top and tied her hair with a clutch. She was looking elegant in this casual wear.
Di : (extended her hand)Keys, Karan.
Karan brought out the keys but pulled back at the last moment.
Karan : Aise nahi... bill do pehle.
Di : Kitna?
Karan : Hey ,you are offering me money? Do you really thing I did all this for that goddam money?
Di : Toh?! Don't tell me you want me to kiss you in public.
Karan : Really!! You would do if I want?
Di : (frowned) Agar tu saaf hota toh I would thought about it, but now you are too dirty(made a face).
Karan : Koi nahi, nahake aata hoon.tu ruk.
He was about to go but Di stopped him.
Di : Keys Karan...I'm getting late.
Karan : Bill?
Di : Later, darling. Now I'm really getting late.
Karan : But I've a condition.
Di : Spill it.
Karan : I'm going to a party tonight, you'll come will me.
Di : Thanks but no thanks!! I'm not going anywhere with you. Go with Simi..
Sim : Haan, karan, I'll go with you.
Karan : Ok, hire a taxi, I'm not giving you the keys. Heroine, tu sham ko ready rehna...
Di : Karan, yeh faaltu ki drama chor aur give me the keys. I'm getting late! Ya phir tune isko aur bigaar dia?
Karan : Kya? Maine haat laagaya aur koi gaddi chup baithe aisa aaj tak nahi hua. You know girls and cars are my specialty, they can't resist me.
Di : Oho!! Toh prove it. Give me the keys!
Karan : Then promise me you'll join me at evening.
Di : I can promise Karan, but think about it. Tonight may be the last night of your life.
Karan : Agar aisi baat hain toh main yehi chahta hoon ke harr raat mere zindgi ka akheri raat ho. You are coming with me, that's it.
Di : ok. I promise. Now plz?
Karan put the keys on her extended palm. And she took her bike away.
Simran was looking at her retreating. She was in deep thought.
Karan : Hey Heroine, don't be upset, I'll take you next time.
Simran : No, I'm going with you tonight.
Karan : but I'm going with..
Simran : You forgot Karan? She only makes promises when she is about to break them.
Karan : ( sat down dishearten) Main yeh kaise vul gaya!!
Arjun was the silent spectator of that drama. He was observing that girl and tried to confirm if he was wrong or not. This girl actually has Roshni's eyes and Sakshi's voice. Her eyes, yes those eyes are more than familiar except the darkness in them, they don't have that glint he used to see into hers. he could read his Roshni's eyes but this eyes speak a different language unknown to him. Her voice reminded him of that over-creepy Saakshi but something is different with her. He could sense a strange coldness into her voice, a commanding tone, a stubbornness or a determination. However, if he ever listened to his own voice, he could've realized it was the same tone he speaks.

Rathod was sitting on his desk, monitoring ongoing cases while Shukla rushed in.
Shukla : Rathod, Banarjee found the trail of that consignment. They're transferring the supply to north.
Rathod : But according to our informers they are sending it to west? Are they making a diversion?
Shukla : May be, because in last two raids we got nothing when we had concrete information of finding the consignment. Both of the time it was a bloody trap and our team failed, last time I lost him.(his voice cracked a bit)
Rathod : So they are playing with us. There's only two possibilities.
Shukla : What?
Rathod : First is our informers are cheating us, second their cover has blown away and they are using them against us...or...
Rathod's intercom rang and he picked it up.
Rathod : They are gathered in O&S. Come.

Rao : Guys, they are doing a great job, you know they kept us occupied in west zone while they were transferring all the goodies to north. Pata nahi kis kamine ki dimaag se yeh mind blowing idea nikla tha!
Aiyar : I told you, the consignment you guys seized are not that thing when we were informed of. Tos don't match the sample we have.
Rao (Veenita) : Haan.. that's why we swept all the zones for that particular one and found them in north zone. And when my boys back trailed them, it led us to here.
Banarjee : then I run the possible trails, matched them with other information and found the right one.
Ansari : Now what's the plan? Rao? This time you have to be careful, we don't want to lose any of us again.
Rathor : Banarjee, you traced the exact location of that warehouse?
Banarjee : Yup.
Shukla : then I'll set watchers there, we will siege the consignment after they load the trucks.
Rathod : But isse sirf consignment haath aayega, not the people behind this, & we don't know when they'll send their next supply.
Rao : then what do you suggest?
Rathod : We've to activate our sleeper there. When we get the correct information who is behind this, how he controls it & about their operation then we'll attack.
Rao(Veenita) : That's good. We will activate our high level agents that they could back trail them to low level.
Shukla : Ok, I'll activate them. Banarjee, keep an eye on the frequencies and let us inform if anything pops up.
Banarjee : Ok.

Rathod was looking at the names in the digital fact board in front of him. He was trying to figure it out how these people could attach to is drug smuggling. But He was missing his old ETF fact board.
Shukla entered with two mugs of coffee.
Shukla : Working on it?
Rathod : Hmm, but can't link them properly.
Shukla saw a paper with hand sketched diagrams. He took it and smiled.
Shukla : Old habit? Shuru shuru main mujhe vi problem hota tha, but now I'm used to it.
Rathod : Last time we had two captives, they spilled anything?
Shukla :Wahi...sara kaam warehouse manager karti hain...aage kuch nahi malum. But yeh warehouse manager kisiko toh report karta hoga na.
Rathod : Uspe nazar rakhenge toh...
