Scene 1 — The Zaveri Mansion, London
The enormous Zaveri mansion was buzzing with activity. Kanti Zaveri was on a business call while his wife, Smita, prepared for yet another corporate event.
Raunak entered the living room, carrying his laptop bag.
Kanti: Raunak! Good, you're here. Come with me to the office. Please meet the new directors.
Raunak: Dad, I told you. I'm not joining the family business.
Kanti: How long are you going to keep saying that?
Raunak: As long as you keep asking me.
Smita sighed.
Smita: Your father has built all this for you.
Raunak: I know, Mom. And I'm grateful. But this isn't what I want.
Kanti: Then what exactly do you want?
Raunak smiled.
Raunak: I want to build something of my own.
He turned his laptop around.
Raunak: I've launched my website.
Smita: Website?
Raunak: A platform where people can find friends, connect with like-minded people and, if they're lucky, even find their perfect match.
Kanti stared at him.
Kanti: You're leaving a billion-pound business to become a matchmaker?
Raunak: Technically, I'm a digital entrepreneur.
Kanti: Same thing.
Raunak laughed.
Raunak: You'll see, Dad. One day this little website will be bigger than your company.
Kanti: Never.
Raunak: Challenge accepted.
Scene 2 — Karan and Nandini's Home
Across London, Karan Virani sat in the garden with his wife Nandini and their three daughters.
Simar, the eldest, was helping Nandini arrange flowers.
Samaira was scrolling through her phone.
Prarthana, the youngest, was eating cake.
Suddenly, Raunak walked through the gate.
Prarthana: Raunak!
She immediately ran toward him.
Raunak: There she is! My favorite little sister!
Samaira: Little sister? She's taller than you now.
Prarthana: Don't listen to her.
Simar: Raunak, you're late.
Raunak: Sorry, Simar. I was busy saving London's single population.
Samaira: Oh no. Not your matchmaking business again.
Raunak: Don't mock me. It's going extremely well.
Karan smiled from his chair.
Karan: Let him be, girls. At least he's doing something he loves.
Raunak went over and hugged Karan.
Raunak: See, Uncle understands me.
Nandini smiled.
Nandini: Your father understands you too. He doesn't know how to show it.
Raunak's smile faded slightly.
Karan: You know you're always welcome here.
Raunak looked at him affectionately.
Raunak: That's why this place feels like home.
Nandini gently touched his cheek.
Nandini: Because you are family.
Prarthana grinned.
Prarthana: More than family.
Raunak: Exactly.
Karan, Nandini, Simar, Samaira, Prarthana, and Raunak had a family dance and enjoyed it.
Woah, Yeah Yeah, Mm Aa Aa Aah, Yeah

Scene 3 — Raunak Meets Aarav
One evening, Raunak was working at his office when his college friend Aarav walked in.
Aarav: Mr. Great Matchmaker!
Raunak: Aarav!
They shook hands and hugged.
Raunak: Where have you been?
Aarav: Working. Unlike you, some of us have real jobs.
Raunak: My business is real.
Aarav: Finding girlfriends for strangers isn't a business.
Raunak: It's called helping people find love.
Aarav laughed.
Aarav: You haven't changed at all.
Raunak suddenly became serious.
Raunak: Neither have you. Still single?
Aarav: Unfortunately.
Raunak: Then you've come to the right place.
Aarav: Absolutely not.
Raunak: I already have someone in mind.
Aarav stared at him.
Aarav: No.
Raunak: You don't even know who it is.
Aarav: That's exactly why I'm saying no.
Raunak smiled mischievously.
Raunak: Simar.
Aarav froze.
Aarav: Simar?
Raunak: My father's friend's daughter.
Aarav: Karan Uncle's eldest daughter?
Raunak: Yes.
Aarav became thoughtful.
Aarav: She's... different.
Raunak: Different how?
Aarav: She's intelligent. Kind. Mature.
Raunak raised an eyebrow.
Raunak: And beautiful?
Aarav smiled.
Aarav: Very.
Raunak: I knew it!
Aarav: But does she even know about this?
Raunak: Not yet.
Aarav: Then don't tell her.
Raunak: Why?
Aarav: Because if she finds out that you're trying to play matchmaker, she'll kill you.
Raunak laughed.
Raunak: You're right.
Scene 4 — Raunak Talks to Karan and Nandini
The next day, Raunak found Simar sitting alone in the garden.
Raunak: Can I ask you something?
Karan: Of course, yes.
Raunak: Have you thought about your daughters' marriage?
Karan: Yes, I do think about their marriage like any other parent. However, you know how difficult it is to get the right partner.
Raunak: That's why I am here.
He showed his family the website. Raunak said, "This is Aarav, my college friend. He is a developer, runs his own company, and is interested in your eldest daughter, Simar."
Karan: That's wonderful! Nandini, what do you say?
Nandini: Yes, it's a good proposal, but it depends on Simar. If she says yes, we can proceed.
Raunak: Of course, Simar's views do matter, as it's the question of her entire life.
The conversation happened in front of the family.
Nandini asked, "Simar, have you thought about your marriage?"
Simar smiled.
Raunak: His name is Aarav.
Simar smiled.
Simar: I heard about Aarav.
Raunak: Good things, I hope.
Simar: Mostly.
Raunak: Then meet him.
Simar thought for a moment.
Simar: As friends?
Raunak: Start there.
Simar: And if I don't like him?
Raunak: Then I'll personally apologize to both of you.
Simar laughed.
Simar: You really think you're Cupid, don't you?
Raunak: No.
He smiled.
Raunak: I think I'm better.
Raunak turned on his computer again and searched for Samaira's match through predictive analysis.
He said, "This is Parag; he is my other friend who settled in the UK. He is a stakeholder in the real estate business and is quite well off."
However, Samaira was uninterested as she loved Sid deeply.
Karan said, "Let's keep it on hold. Proceed with Prarthana."
Raunak checked for Prarthana's match but found himself. However, he said, "I think Prarthana's time is yet to come. First, let the two girls get married; then we will look for Prarthana.
Raunak then said, "See you."
Karan and Nandini called their daughters and said, "If you have any concerns, we can discuss."
They asked Simar, "Do you have anyone else in mind?"
Simar: No, I don't. Aarav seems impressive, but I would like to meet him so I can understand him before proceeding with the relationship.
Nandini: Fair enough.
They asked Samaira, "What do you think about Parag?"
Samaira: How can I commit without knowing anything about him?
Karan: Do you want to meet him?
Samaira: I'm sorry, but I am not interested.
They asked Prarthana the same question.
Prarthana: Love stories look good only in movies and fairy tales. Not in real life.
Karan said, "I am happy with your honesty. Aarav could be a possible match for Simar. Samaira and Prarthana, I respect your decision. You guys are free to choose your partners, but remember one thing: In Indian society, marriage isn't limited to a couple, but it joins both families. So, if you guys happen to like someone, I will check their background before giving a positive nod."
Prarthana: Fair enough.
However, Samaira felt insecure as Karan was always strict with them.
Nandini said, "Samaira, I want to speak to you."
Both went inside Samaira's room.
Nandini: I could sense that you love someone else, but you can't say it. Don't worry, you can share your feelings with me.
Samaira: I love Sid, but I don't know how to tell the family.
Nandini: What is he doing?
Samaira: Sid is my college friend. We have been in love for five years. He runs a family business.
Nandini: Who are his parents?
Samaira: His father's name is Subhash. His birth mother has passed away. Tripti is his stepmother.
Nandini is shocked, but she is in a dilemma.
Nandini: Yes, I know that lady. She scammed us in our business. We planned to partner with Raunak's father and invest the amount, but we no longer have funds available. That's why we have kept his offer on hold. However, if Sid and Subhash are good, it should be manageable. I'll speak to your Dad."

Nandini and Samaira hug each other.
Scene 5 — Simar and Aarav's First Meeting
Raunak helped Karan and Nandini arrange a family dinner.
Aarav arrived.
Karan welcomed him warmly.
Karan: So you're Aarav. Raunak has told us a lot about you.
Aarav: Hopefully nothing embarrassing.
Prarthana: Don't worry. He saves the embarrassing stories for family.
Everyone laughed.
Simar entered the room.
Aarav looked at her.
For a moment, neither spoke.
Raunak noticed the silence and smiled.
Raunak: Simar, this is Aarav.
Simar: We've met before.
Aarav: Yes.
Raunak: Wonderful. Saves me an introduction.
Simar gave Raunak a suspicious look.
Simar: You planned this, didn't you?
Raunak: Me? Never.
Prarthana whispered to Samaira.
Prarthana: He's lying.
Samaira: Obviously.
Aarav and Simar both laughed.
Scene 6 — Raunak's Plan Works
Over the following weeks, Raunak kept finding excuses for Simar and Aarav to spend time together.
A Growing Friendship
A few weeks had passed since Raunak introduced Aarav to Simar.
At first, they met mostly because of Raunak. But slowly, Simar and Aarav began seeking each other's company even when Raunak wasn't around.
One evening, Simar was sitting in the garden reading a book. Aarav walked in.
Aarav: Still reading?
Simar: Still disturbing?
Aarav: I was going to say hello.
Simar: You can say hello.
Aarav: Hello.
Simar smiled.
Simar: Hello.
Aarav sat beside her.
Aarav: What are you reading?
Simar: A novel.
Aarav: Is it good?
Simar: Very.
Aarav: What's it about?
Simar closed the book.
Simar: Two people who become friends and slowly realize they're meant to be together.
Aarav looked at her.
Aarav: Sounds interesting.
Simar: It is.
There was a small silence.
Aarav: Do you believe in that?
Simar: In what?

Aarav: That two people can meet by chance and eventually become important to each other?
Simar smiled softly.
Simar: I think some meetings aren't accidents.
Their eyes met.
Neither said anything.
Aarav Begins to Realize
One rainy afternoon, Simar was walking outside without an umbrella.
Aarav suddenly appeared beside her and held his umbrella over both of them.
Simar: Aarav! What are you doing?
Aarav: Saving you from the rain.
Simar: I could have managed.
Aarav: I know.
He smiled.
Aarav: But I wanted to be here.
Simar looked at him.
Simar: You always do this.
Aarav: Do what?
Simar: Somehow appear whenever I need you.
Aarav's smile faded into something softer.
Aarav: Maybe because I like being around you.
Simar became shy.
They continued walking together. The umbrella flew away.
They shared a romantic eye lock in the rain.
Later that night, Aarav sat alone in his room, thinking about her.
He smiled to himself.
Aarav: When did this happen?
He realized the truth.
Aarav: I love her.
Simar Realizes Her Feelings
The next day, Simar was talking to Prarthana.
Prarthana: Didi, can I ask you something?
Simar: What?
Prarthana: Why do you smile every time Aarav's name comes up?
Simar immediately stopped smiling.
Simar: I don't.
Prarthana: You do.
Simar: He's Raunak's friend.
Prarthana: Only Raunak's friend?
Simar looked away.
Prarthana grinned.
Prarthana: You love him.
Simar: Prarthana!
Prarthana: You do!
Simar finally smiled.
Simar: Maybe.
Prarthana hugged her.
Prarthana: I knew it!
Simar whispered:
Simar: I don't know when it happened. Somewhere along the way, Aarav became the person I look for in every room.
The Family Dinner
That evening, everyone was having dinner.
Raunak noticed that Aarav and Simar kept exchanging shy glances.
Raunak: Why are you two so quiet tonight?
Simar: We're eating.
Raunak: You normally talk while eating.
Aarav: Maybe we're just tired.
Raunak looked suspiciously at them.
Raunak: Hmm.
Prarthana secretly smiled.
Karan noticed it too.
After dinner, Aarav offered to walk Simar home, even though they were already at Karan's house.
Simar: Home is literally inside this house.
Aarav: I know.
Simar: Then?
Aarav: I'd like a few more minutes with you.
Simar smiled.
Simar: Okay.
They walked into the garden.
Aarav's Confession
The garden was quiet.
Aarav stopped walking.
Simar: What happened?
Aarav: Simar, I want to tell you something.
She became nervous.
Simar: What?
Aarav took a breath.
Aarav: When Raunak first introduced us, I thought you were just his sister.
Simar smiled.
Aarav: Then you became my friend.
He looked into her eyes.
Aarav: Then you became the person I wanted to talk to every day.
Simar's eyes filled with emotion.
Aarav: I started looking forward to seeing you. I started worrying when you were upset. I started smiling whenever you smiled.
He gently took her hand.
Aarav: And then I realized something.
A pause.
Aarav gave her a flower and said: I fell in love with you, Simar.
Simar couldn't stop smiling.
Simar: Aarav...
Aarav: I don't expect you to say anything right now. I just needed you to know.
Simar shook her head.
Simar: You really are foolish.
Aarav looked worried.
Aarav: Why?
She stepped closer.
Simar: Because you took so long to tell me.
Aarav stared at her.
Aarav: What?
Simar smiled through her tears.
Simar: I love you too.
Aarav's face lit up.
Aarav: Really?
Simar: Really.
Aarav: Since when?
Simar: I don't know.
She laughed softly.
Simar: Maybe since the day I realized that whenever something happened, good or bad, you were the first person I wanted to tell.
Aarav squeezed her hand.
Aarav: So we're really together?
Simar: Yes.
Aarav: I can't believe it.
Simar: Neither can I.
They smiled at each other.
Just then, they heard a voice behind them.
Raunak: Finally!
They turned around.
Raunak was standing there with Prarthana and Samaira.
Simar: You were spying on us?
Raunak: Spying? No. I was waiting for my matchmaking masterpiece to succeed.
Aarav: You knew?
Raunak: Of course I knew.
Prarthana hugged Simar.
Prarthana: Welcome to the love club!
Raunak hugged Aarav.
Raunak: College friend to brother-in-law. Not bad!
Everyone laughed as Simar and Aarav looked at each other lovingly.
One evening, Simar confronted him.
Simar: You knew this would happen.
Raunak: Knew what?
Simar: That Aarav and I have fallen in love.
Raunak's face lit up.
Raunak: I knew it!
Simar: Don't look so proud.
Raunak: I'm a genius.
Simar: You're impossible.
Raunak: But I'm right.
Aarav walked toward them.
Aarav: What's going on?
Simar: Your friend is taking credit for our relationship.
Aarav: He deserves some credit.
Raunak placed his hands on his hips.
Raunak: Finally! Someone appreciates my talent.
Aarav smiled.
Aarav: Thank you, Raunak.
Raunak hugged him.
Raunak: Welcome to the family, brother.
Simar smiled warmly.
From a distance, Karan and Nandini watched the three of them.
Nandini: Raunak has always been like this.
Karan: He brings people together.
Nandini nodded.
Nandini: And perhaps one day, someone will bring him together with the person meant for him.
Karan smiled.
Karan: Maybe.
He looked toward Raunak.
Karan: Until then, he has us.

Raunak turned toward them and smiled.
Raunak: And I have the best family in London.
The family gathered together, laughing.
But none of them knew that Raunak's own love story was still waiting to begin.
