Abha craziness in Nadi

Over six thousand crazy fans swarmed at Prince Charles Park in Nadi last night, December 12, to witness the grand show presenting Abha Live in concert sponsored by Flour Mills of Fiji (FMF) in association with Subrails Furniture Centre.

After four successful shows throughout Fiji, the prominent Indian TV actress Suhasi Goradia Dhami, more popularly known as Abha, rocked the Jet Set town with her glamour and uniqueness.

"I love you Nadi, I love you all." These were the first words said by the gorgeous Suhasi Dhami after her first enthusiastic performance live on stage which made the crowd roar up with excitement.

The breathtaking event compromised of other entertaining performances including live band, local talents and comedy by the famous Bollywood star Jimmy Moses.

While entertaining the crowd, Jimmy Moses announced that Nadi proved to have the best audience as the jet setters continually cheered for the artists.

The team is expected to rock the sugar city tonight followed by two more shows in Ba and Suva on 14^th and 15^th of December respectively.

Resort delights Abha

BOLLYWOOD actress Suhasi Goradia Dhami dropped in at the Castaway Island Resort on Wednesday, much to the delight of workers most of who know her well for her role as Abha in the Hindi television show Yahan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli.

Resort's sales and marketing manager Karen Marvell said the actress, who is in the country for eight shows with comedian Johnny Lever's brother, Jimmy Moses, arrived at the Mamanuca property with her husband Jaysheel.

"They were out on a charter cruise with Ocean Charters and the crew recommended that they visit Castaway," she said.

"They arrived at 4.45pm and resort management met the couple, showed them around the resort and hosted drinks up at Sundowner Bar, overlooking the beach and water.

"Jaysheel said 'we are blown away by the beauty of the island, the calming ambience of the resort and the genuine welcome of the Castaway staff'."

"They said they hadn't seen anything like this on the mainland.

"When it was mentioned that Castaway have a traditional Fijian meke dance performance and Fijian lovo feast on Wednesday evenings, Suhasi and Jaysheel asked if they could come back a few hours later to see this.

"We of course were delighted to host them.

"They returned for a couple of hours and raved that their short visit to Castaway was the highlight of their trip so far. "

Castaway is one of Fiji's most popular resorts and has often been described as perfect for romantic honeymoon vacations, scuba diving and family holidays.
