Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Abhira calls her story with Armaan a hate story

In tonight's episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Geetanjali declares that while Armaan may be standing up for Abhira's rights, she will now fight her own battles for justice. When Maira calls Armaan, Geetanjali insists he answer, adding that she will talk to her face-to-face.

Armaan finally answers Maira's call. She asks him why he wasn't picking up earlier. He casually brushes it off, blaming it on network issues. When Maira asks about Geetanjali, Armaan lies and says she's already asleep. He then tells Maira to sleep too and suggests Abhira should also rest well since it's been a long time since Maira has stayed with her, implying that both of them can now get proper rest.

Maira then tells him to sleep properly, reminding him to use a blanket and not to keep two pillows. She admits she's upset but also missing him and wants him to return soon. Armaan asks her to be patient for just two more days. She again says how much she misses him. To end the call, Armaan pretends to feel sleepy, says goodnight, and hangs up.

After that, Maira hands the phone back to Abhira and lies down to sleep. Meanwhile, even though Armaan misses Maira too, he messages Abhira, clarifying that he isn't planning to return right now and had only said those things to calm Maira down.

Maira then turns to Abhira and curiously asks how many hours are there in two days. Abhira replies 48 hours. Maira then wants to know the minutes and seconds too, before finally falling asleep.

The following day, at the Poddar house, Krish remarks sarcastically that Armaan has once again disappeared from the scene. Manoj says this is exactly what Krish always wanted. Tanya, in the meantime, is thrilled to receive her wedding photos, but is stunned when she sees that they've been digitally altered. Krish reveals he asked the editor to make her look slimmer and makes an insensitive comment about her weight. Offended, Tanya snaps back, telling him he should be her support system instead of shaming her. She adds that it's high time Krish accomplishes something on his own merit. Sanjay tells Manisha to take Tanya inside, while he addresses Krish's behaviour. Kiara comments that Tanya is the only one who can shut Krish down the way Armaan used to. Manisha praises Tanya, saying she's a strong modern woman who speaks up for herself.

Meanwhile, Abhira calls Armaan in tears. Concerned, Armaan asks what's wrong. Abhira breaks down, begging him to take Maira back, revealing how difficult things have become. Armaan insists she's capable of managing Maira. This angers Abhira, who says it hurts that Maira now refers to her as "aunty." She lashes out at Armaan for never trusting her and for once being ready to bring a stranger into Maira's life as a mother figure. She tells him with pain and anger that what they had can never be called a love story—because if it were, no one would ever believe in love again. She calls it a hate story, accusing him of destroying her life because he never truly love her. She adds that she will never be able to forgive him for what he’s done. While all this unfolds, Maira continues to wait for Armaan, hoping he’ll come back.

Elsewhere, Tanya is shattered emotionally, and Kiara offers her support. Tanya confesses that Krish's behaviour has changed since their marriage. Although Kiara knows about Krish's affair, she decides to stay silent until she has evidence. During their conversation, Tanya learns about Kiara and Abhir's past connection. Later, Abhir asks Kiara to meet him. Tanya questions Kiara about why Abhir wants to see her.

Back at home, Abhira gently ties Maira's hair, but Maira insists it be done the way Armaan used to do it. She continues to long for Armaan's presence. Abhira attempts to make parathas for her, trying to comfort her. Anshuman brings Maira a teddy bear to cheer her up, but she refuses to take it without Armaan's approval. Kaveri then gifts her a new pair of shoes, but Maira asks Abhira to tie them properly just like Geetanjali does. Abhira is stunned by her words.

In the precap, Abhira prays that Maira accepts her wholeheartedly. Kaveri warns her that she has chosen a difficult road. Armaan is shocked to find out Geetanjali has gone to Udaipur and vents his anger over her interference in Maira and Abhira's lives. Abhira is taken aback to suddenly see Armaan in front of her.
