Hi girls, well done both of u. First to Jyoti, for letting or forum enjoy the diwali, drooling over Hot and Sweet Jalal (Rajat). had she told the news before diwali, to sabki diwali kharab ho jaati. So thank u ,dear.
and now to sweet Mansi, for bearing such heartbreaking news alone in ICU. would u have told, i would have been with u (not sharing the hospital), to keep ur mood more light. 😆 anyway, Rajat getting engaged to his ladylove is a very sweet news.
ok, so abt ur analysis, I always say , Mansi is very positive in her thinking while analysing the episode. Must say, Jyoti, u too r the another side of the same coin, that is her. superb , very straight thinking, and very clear abt ur own opinion but not biased. so 👍🏼 to u Jyoti.
right from the start, the thing has been it's Jalal who is after Jodha for better or worse, for love or hate, for capturing , owning or letting lose.
Jodha which we see, has two diff sides one in amer (with her owns, whom she thinks of her own), another totally diff Jodha in Agra , (again with her own, whom she doesn't accept as her own). for her there r only two sides, one of her friends (Ameries, HB, Saleema, etc) and other of her enemies (Jalal and those on his side). so for her it's always one or other, she can't think anything beyond these two, and won't be able to till Jalal is able to erase the line she has drawn abt her friends and enemies. and ya, i said Jalal has to do it, coz Jodha won't till she accepts Agra totally as her own including Jalal with it.
same is not the thing with Jalal. He has only one side, A SHEHENSHAH, who wants to rule , who is aware of the mistakes his previous emperors did, and so doesn't want to commit the same. so he is ready to mend his ways , in a way even going to the length of making friends in his enemies by getting in relationships with them. a true and perfect politician, a keen and ruthless ruler, who has been successful in keeping his personal life seperate from his political one. but with Jodha in his life, it's changing. and it's him who has to keep it balanced not, Jodha or anybody else. coz marrying her was his choice, not hers or others.
The most spl gift of Jalal to Jodha on her birthday :
agreed with both of u. the CVs have done superb job here. The most beautiful and thoughtful scene of a gift by husband to wife. a wife who is very different than what he knows abt his other wives. but then it's that thing in her that he is attracted to her. To Dil or Dimag dono ek saath kaam karte hai.
The whole pregnency rumour track will only bring Jalal and Jodha closer in terms of trusting each other 👍🏼
good point here. have u noticed one thing? let Jodha say, she doesn't trust Jalal, still it's his words , she is taking at face value. when he said of keeping his words and not touching her, she confronted Ruku. yest when he took the blame on himself , then again started her ghrina session with him. It was him whom she confronted twice for justice in this preg matter, once as her husband, once as a shehenshah.
again let Jalal prove both her and his innocence , she will start saying he is man of his words. for her , her world even now revolves around Jalal, only neither she understands nor she is ready to accept if she comes to understand it. so every time she turns to him for getting answers. what is this if not trust? only It's Jalal who has to make her accept it, coz Jodha won't accept on her own.
Have u noticed a slight different thing here. in that Tarazu scene , it was Jodha who speaks abt the husband wife relationship and abt the trust btw them, and Jalal silently listens. she seems to be desperate coz for her , her relationship with Jalal needs to be developed on basis of trust, and so she is very clear abt her expectations abt their relationship before she steps into it.
again diff for Jalal. he has two marriages before Jodha. with ruku his relationship was same as Jodha expects , which now he seems as crumbled. with Saleema, it's more like mentor and protegee. so when Jodha talks abt trust and expects it from her HUSBAND, he turns to Saleema, and not to Ruku.
abt the flaws , u have stated abt Jodha, then yes, they r there, and will always be there, even when she will be close to Jalal. coz if such thing happens ever again, she will be the ultimate bearer of the punishment (like she was in Ruku's MC track), humiliation and insult, while Jalal being the Shehensha will always retain the ultimate power to give justice or punishment. the difference btw the two lies here. so to expect that Jodha will ever think rationally , is next to impossible. it's only possible when she won't be at receiving end.
Okay here is my feeble attempt at the tarazu symbolism ...
If I look at the rings symbolism, it starts for me from her birthday itself (which is the day this pregnancy diagnosis also came). There in her birthday koodaadaan ceremony, Jalal found that he needed to add his ring to match her weight. (That was a different ring which was given for charity, but nevertheless, for symbolism sake, we have to see that he put a ring there to match her weight.) It looked at that time to me like he was "completing her" ... by matching her weight.
Later, she in anger took out her wedding ring and gave it to him (or rather placed it on the tarazu plate) whereby she signalled that since he was reducing her integrity, she herself would take off the ring as symbol of reduction of herself by him! She was "incompleting" herself.
He was then seen in many scenes as holding that ring in his hands and thinking about it, by which I presume he was asking himself "Was I right in reducing her thus?"
Yesterday after the Hakim gave an antidote and he also lied to everyone about it being his baby, he felt the peace that comes from making a decision that Jodha needs his help. He puts her ring on one side of the tarazu, and then counterweighs that in perfect balance again with his own ring - like saying "You were reduced (incompleted), but I am adding back what I took away from you! You are completed again by me."
In the precap he is then seen returning her ring to her, maybe after the antidote has proved she is not pregnant, and he says "You cannot break some bandhans by putting them on tarazu to weigh their value. The tarazu is for insaaf, and not for weighing of something of this kind of value."
In other words, after seeing that he can complete here, he realises that the fault was not about her reduction or completion at all, it was about the intrinsic value of something - some bandhan - that should never have been put on the tarazu at all in the first place!
As he says, the tarazu is for justice, but this issue should never have come up for justice at all. Mistrust made it a weighable issue, but if that trust were there, then why the tarazu, why her ring on the tarazu, and why his ring to counterbalance?
There, how's my symbolism Jyoti? Have I improved in the last seven or eight years?
well said Mansi. superb thinking...
In a strange way, Jyoti, it is interesting that the question of pregnancy has come up in this track - as a track we may all be saying why are these Creatives forever obsessed with words like "miscarriage, womb, pregnancy, sleeping arrangements" etc.
But this pregnancy hits at the very remaining gap between them and starkly brings out the one point of serious contention between them. Jodha is still unready for physical relations with him. And this whole track will at least make her face the fact that this issue cannot forever remain on the back burner. It has to be faced and a solution found - because they are husband and wife already! She cannot hope to eternally avoid a relationship with him.
If Jodha gets to that stage of thinking at least - accepting that this fact has to be faced - then this track would have evolved her to a great extent. She is now in some La la land that for always she can hope to stay a virgin just because the marriage was not of her choosing.
But that cannot happen, she is married, there will be every day the strain of not having physical relations with a man who seems as if he wants it. She cannot spent every day for the rest of her life worrying "Will he ask me for it or not!" and try to stay eternally on guard ready to pounce on him!
Hope she will realise at the end of this track that she cannot win this war!
again well said...👍🏼
That is what has changed from yesterday! Ruq is losing both Jalal's heart and mind!
right
Did Maham dig her own grave by trying to b too smart ?? 😛😆
So Maham thought of doing some chance pe dance by spreading this rumour about Jodha's pregnency from other guy to destroy her character in front of everyone 😡... But in this process she ended up telling Hamida that she was the one who eavesdropped when Jalal and Jodha were hving this argument 😛... So this means later when the pregnency rumour truth will b solved and question will b raised on who has spread this rumour in public , Maham too will b exposed in front of Jalal as she was the one who eavesdropped into this convo of Jalal-Jodha .. She herself admitted this to Hamida and I hope Hamida remembers this once the issue is sorted out and tells it to Jalal too that your Maham dear eavesdropped in your bedroom 😛😆😆
One word answer: yes, Maham has dug her own grave by admitting she eavesdropped on Jalal. BUT, in Hindi TV serial duniya villains easily come back from the grave also! So she may see that someone else falls into the grave she has dug, while she will go scot free!
Don't think so, coz even if HB ever suspects MA, she is well aware abt Jalal's trust on MA, and MA han't said anything to JAlal yet. so Jalal will never suspect MA. so i think this track won't harm MA at all except MA getting more concious abt Jalal getting more close to Jodha. coz once Jalal proves Jodha and himself innocent the track will end creating a slight rift btw Jalal and BB-Shariff. MA will be left open to plot something different , more bad.
now when Jalal has tried to protect Jodha from more humiliation , if we say, he has done what a true husband should do, then it will be a half truth. coz he is not just any husband. he is Shehenshah. more than a hubby, his izzat as shehenshah is at stake. so before punishing her , he has to think twice as a ruler who is set to rule the whole world. if the msg goes out that his wife has cheated on him, he will be lose his respect, his strength, his character (he will be seen as a man not enough to satisfy his wife physically or mentally). so one thing was always there, he would never punish Jodha openly, even if she had committed this mistake.
so this whole issue for both of them is abt Jodha more as a wife and less as a begum of Mughal saltanat , while Jalal more as a shehenshah and less of a husband. the exact equation of balance about their positions of husband and wife and shehenshah and begum will start only after Jalal proves the justice of a shehenshah, and restores the trust in Jodha's mind.
anyway, girls, more to say in my mind, but it's late, and i m sleepy. so some other time, bye for now..
