bagging awards isnt actually a matchstick...but even then...Black was deserving...kudoz to Black cast and crew who gave us a film with an oscar potential(I am not saying its the best in history of India..no...But its theme in itself had no Indian boundaries and the handling by SLB and of course performances were of true global level...) ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‘

Black is one of the best films that I have seen in my life..Not because it provided the Dhoom 2 kind of entertainment, but because I found it very motivating...Being a blind/mute/deaf girl, the protogonist still managed to do the things a lot of otherwise blessed people failed to do....

@Buffie:Michell/Rani walked that way in the movie because being born blind, how is she supposed to know the right way to walk...A lot of things we do, we would have learnt them from others by observing them..right???

Loved the film, it was something different. But I did find it depressing as well. It was a 'dark' film, I guess. Not just in terms of the story but the cinematography, scenary and colors used. We see lots of dark blue, black tones in the movie, probably represents the darkness in the protagonist's life. Black is a thought-provoking cinema. ๐Ÿ˜Š Wonderful performances by Rani and Big B. ๐Ÿ‘

Devdas and HDDCS worked ONLY because of SRK and Salman respectively,Black was not a hit,it was only an average runner, and rightfully so..It was a super bore, meant for pseudo connoisseurs...IMO,Big B overacted big time,Rani was horrible(What was the Charlie Chaplin walk for),and Black mirrored SLB's was arrogance, over indulgence and his being awestruck by Big B's persona...

You are sooooo right..!!! I could not express it better...I too wondered why she walked like that and had such funny body mivements ..Was she mentally impaired? No right?
