Ganga din't raise her head.. She was crying badly..
"You had a job but you did all these shameless thing.." the lady constable was shouting at her...
Ganga din't reply.. She sat in the corner.. She hugged her knees n blaming herself for blindly believing Bala. "Ganga you came here to become a nurse.. Stand on your feet , earn respect in society n money for mannu's future but look what happened now.." she was thought.
"My mannu.. Hope kaka is taking care of him.." tears were swimming in her eyes.. She broke down completely.." I am not the culprit.. God please don't be unfair with me.. I shouldn't have taken up this job.. Idiot i am to refuse the job offered by dr.saab in his friends agency.."
Her head was aching like hell.. she leaned against the wall, Unknowingly she fell asleep.. She was getting the flashes of the incident which happened some hours ago.. She woke up.. She din't want to remember that disgusting incident even in dream...
She could hear some mannu's laugh.. She turned her head.. she was shocked to see her dr.saab standing infront of her.. Is it a dream she thought , she rubbed her eyes.. Yes he was standing infront of her.. holding mannu in his hands and talking with police inspecter.
"sorry Mr.singh" the inspecter said.. "sorry.. No need to say sorry to me , you arrested the wrong person.. tell her sorry" he looked at her n smiled..
The inspecter got a call and he went outside ordering the only constable left to release ganga.
The lady constable opened the lock she ran out n hugged her dr.saab.. She cried her heart out. "Dr.saab i din't steal anything i was accused for something ehich i can't even imagine.."she closed her eyes hugged him tightly..
"I know.. I know everything what has happened in the hospital n what had happened with you too Ganga"he said in a soft tone with apinch of anger when he said last words.. She understood what he was talking about..
She was still in his arms.. Her aching heart found some peace in his arms.. She loved him and he came to her rescue like a prince in the shining armour.
She came back to senses when she realised she was hugging someone else's would be.. She broke the hug.. and turned the otherside saying "sorry"
He hold her hand... Turned her towards him.. He raised her head.. and said the three magical words.. "I Love You.. Ganga. I am madly in love with you"he wiped the tears rolling down her cheek n hugged her with putting one hand around her waist and holding mannu in other hand..
It was also a family hug.Mannu was clapping in joy.
Her happiness had no bounds.. Her heart was racing.. She hugged him back.. He embraced her in his arms.." par sanchiji" she said. He put his finger on her lips.. "I broke up the rishtha..I realised that I love you and sanchi she played double game.. cheated my family.. don't take her name " he said.
Her cheeks were still pink... She was embarassed.. both smiled at eachother.. jagya kissed mannu..
She heard Bala's voice. He was dragged into the lock up.. The staff member was shouting at him in kannada..
"My birdie Ganga.. I will never leave u.. " bala was shouting.. She was disgusted but observed onething that he was beaten badly.. She looked at jagya. He has a small cut at the edge of his lips.. She touched the cut wiping the trace of blood.."You bet him?" she asked..
"wish I would have killed that b*st*rd for doing such thing.." he was fuming in anger.. "Ganga go.. Go and slap that guy please" jagya requested her..
"Haan Haan you only listen to that gora chitta doctor.. "Bala was shouting and looked at them with a demeaning look..
She just slapped him hard.. He went dumb.. She came.back and stood beside jagya.. The inspecter came back.. ganga signed the papers required..
They reached home. She sat on the sofa.. He sat beside her..
"You will not stay here.. Come back to Jaitser.."he said.. She looked at him.. He was aware of all her doubts n fears..
He gently took her hand in his' "Trust me" he said.. She melted n nodded her head in an 'yes'.
