She was shocked, the driver asked her if she was Ok, she gave him a sad smile.
G: lets' go driver Kaka
The driver nodded and headed to the Basti.
It started to rain.
Everyone there was excited; they wanted to know how the meeting went.
She composed her self
Mrs. Buns came forward
MB: everything went well Geet
G: yes
MB: you look pale
G: am just tired
MB: well you must then rest first, but can you tell when the work will start
G: in a fortnight

G: yes
The Basti people rejoiced.
After some time Geet went to her apartment.
She did not know what to make out of his sudden explosion.
It was already hard to believe that he can speak, and then the way he bashed her was totally unexpected
But it was she supposed for good, after all he is MP Di's husband
Whatever Pari said about Di marrying Prem would be some misunderstanding on her part.
It's good that she need to think about him now.
The rain has increased, it was a heavy downpour.
Suddenly her phone rang, she looked at the time it was almost midnight, she looked at the mobile screen and was alarmed to find Mrs. Buns name displaying
G: Hello, is everything Ok
MB: yes, but here this Maan is asking for you
G: Pardon
MB: that architect of yours Maan Singh Khurana wants to meet you
G: at this hour?
MB: that's what I told him, but he says it's urgent

Why does he want to meet her and that too this late?
She shrugged and waited for him, after 15 mins she heard footsteps and went to open the door, he was there all drenched in water.
She quickly went to fetch a towel

She went in and fetched a pair of man work clothes she kept in case of need
He looked at them and wondered who they belonged to
G: they are new; I have about 50 more pieces of various sizes in the closet for new employees
He nodded as she showed him the direction of the bathroom
G: what would you like to have tea or coffee?
M: coffee will be fine
She went to make coffee; first she fried some fries and then started beating the coffee
Suddenly she felt a hug and was startled.
M: I am sorry Geet
She gathered her wits, and tried to remove his hands from her waist
G: Maan what are you doing?
M: apologizing
And he kissed her neck
She lost her breath and turned to face him
G: leave me Maan. This is not the right way to apologize
He tighten his grip
M: then what's the right way
G: Maan behave your selves, you are a married man, think about MP Di
M: she only sends me here at this hour
G: WHAT!
M: yes, and BTW who am I married to, MP
G: Yes, this is what Pari told me
M: Pari!
G: yes, or you can say what she told me made me realize that you and MP Di are a couple

As days passed he was more in love with her.
He would leave no chance to be with her, as the days of starting the work came closer, they also came closer.
A week was left for the work to start, Geet had transferred all the rights of the project to Maan, he first objected but later after much persuasion agreed.
It was 10 at night, they were still at Basti, a certain area was vacated where the apartment will be constructed, and the residents of that place were accommodated on the other side.
The apartments will be ready to shift in 3 months; once all the residents shift here the work of the factory area will start in full swing.
The target was to complete the work in 2 years, if possible earlier.
He accompanied her after to her apartment; it has become a daily ritual.
She went to change while he made coffee for both, and after he freshened up, they discussed more plans and ended up kissing each other.
Tomorrow was the big day, and tonight they ended making out with each other.
At first Geet was a little reluctant.
G: Maan will it be Ok, my experience with such things is bad
M: better than me
G: pardon
M: at least you have some experience while I am all new to this
She was all red with humiliation and started hitting him with a pillow
He caught her hand
M: if it starts like this, no way the experience will be bad
She gave him a startled look
And he laughed
They laughed together and finally with some reluctance with some experience with some inexperience and with lots of love they became one
G: Maan thank you
M: same to you
And they slept in ach others arms
The inauguration went well, and the work was started.
Maan bade her good bye and went to his house dreaming of a future with Geet as his wife and their two kids
At about midnight his cell buzzed it was Geet
M: Hi sweet heart, not able to sleep
G: MAAN! HELP!
He was shocked
M: Geet, are you Ok? Where are you?
G: in my room, they are here, Maan come soon, and they are here to kill me
M: I am coming Geet, who are they? Where are they?
G: in the lobby, I have locked myself in my bedroom.
M: I am on way and don't cut the phone
He ran to his car and drove like a maniac
M: Geet I am coming
But the line went dead
He became restless
He reached her apartment in record time
She was nowhere, the whole apartment was a scene, the neighbors' have gathered, the police was called
M: GEET!
Mrs. Buns came forward
MB: they dragged her from here
M: who were they?
MB: we don't know
He looked at the apartment, the door of her room was broken and her cell was lying near the bed.
He did not know what to make out of all this. She was nowhere.

She was nowhere. They searched for her everywhere. But during this time also Maan did not stop the work of her dream project.
The police tried to search for her, they did everything that was in there hands.
2 months passed, still no news of her.
Maan had become quite, he did not speak to anyone.
His only aim was to find her and to complete her project.
Today was Manpreet's sangeet and mehendi, though he did not feel like attending the function, he had to.
MP will get married to Prem tomorrow and Pari will go with her biological parents after the marriage.
Yash and Myra were coming to attend the marriage and take their daughter with them.
Everyone in the family now knew the truth.
Finally he went to the function but came back after talking to MP and Prem, they understood his condition.
He went to her apartment, he had it all renovated.
He came here almost daily.
There was a music player in her room, which she used often, he thought of hearing some of her favorite songs.
He took a cassette she listened to and opened the case panel to find a cassette already in there. He rewinds it thinking that he would hear the songs she must be listening to that day.
He sat on a couch and played it.
He was shocked to hear what it had, it was she speaking,
"I am so happy today, after so much of effort finally I am doing something important. And above all I have Maan with me now, the project and Maan they make my life so complete. Soon the project will be over and we will get married, and will have two kids as he says and few more as I have not told him yet. Well when we can afford why should we not have more kids.
