I agree with you. THere was fear and concern in those eyes. I don't think you're reading too much into it. In this show most of the emotions are shown by the actor's through their eyes. I've always noticed Karan doing this because his character is more silent. But today (or yesterday) was refreshing because for once it was Zoya speaking with her eyes alone. Poor thing went from shock, to concern, to fear to dread. It was an emotional roller coaster for within 3 minutes. I really hope her fear is addressed by Asad and that she makes him realize that she was afraid of losing someone she cares about again. It's definitely something they both have in common. THey're both afraid to lose each other. But I'd say, with her facial expressions, this is one of the first times (it's so much more rare for Zoya because she's usually the one in trouble 😆) that she was showing her fear of losing him and her affection for him. Again through her eyes. THey're both mindblowing actors and I love watching the show for them.

asad admitting his love for zoya is a really big positive. he stopped ignoring his feelings which is a big thing
