Asad/Zoya and 'FIRE'!

Already a lot has been written about the episode today..mostly negative, of course!...Actually I might be one of those very few people who don't hate Asad because of his friendship with Tanu but I am not gonna go into the details of "Asad and Tanu friendship" right now...I am writing this post on another topic...

I don't know if anyone noticed Zoya's face when Asad ran to Tanu...I watched that scene sooo many times..(I wanted my full dose of AsYa) So when I watched the fire scene, I noticed something..It may not be anything significant but it stood out to me...
When Tanu came to the scene..obviously AsYa had a late reaction to it because they both were shocked..but I just wanna point out Zoya's expressions..At first, Zoya had this shock look and so did Asad but the one expression of Zoya that I loved and noticed (I rewinded the scene many times just to watch that look on Zoya) was when Asad ran to Tanu..
Just trying to watch the whole scenerio from Zoya's eyes..She saw the love of her life running to the fire..something that she knows is destructive..Not only was Zoya scared of fire itself but also scared for Asad being so close to the fire.. (We all know that Asad is actually really close to the fire, Tanu, and he's gonna get hurt once he finds out her reality..imagine a best friend betrayal..so sad..I feel so bad for Asad..poor guy).
We know that Zoya values life and she's a very kind woman but in that moment I felt like Zoya wasn't happy about Asad going there to save Tanu..not because of jealousy obviously but because of the instant gripping fear in her mind that Asad is so close to something that can hurt him...I noticed a super concerned look on Zoya's face..not for Tanu who was actually on fire but for Asad who was just close to the fire..Maybe I am just thinking a little too much here but I just noticed a little change of expressions on Zoya's face when Asad ran to Tanu..
And then of course..she was reminded of her nightmare..the past that she doesn't know anything about..and then her phobia of fire..she was definitely scared when she went close to the fire to give shawl to Asad.

I love Surbhi's acting in that particular scene..She gave a wide range of expressions..what a wonderful actress--totally gifted with the talent!!!

While I am at it..let me share a few quick thoughts...I know that most of you were super disappointed with Mahasangam..even I was disappointed...Maybe we expected too much/predicted too much/assumed too much when we know that Qubool Hai is very unpredictable and always full of surprises..mostly pleasant! So yea..I agree that Mahasangam sucked..but hey life goes on..so instead of bringing up Mahasangam episode again and again on the forum..lets try to look at the positive side and discuss the good things..what say?

Some positives:
#A guy like Asad Ahmed Khan wants to confess his love to a girl like Zoya Frooqui. I loved how Asad was so nervous to confess..it was so adorable how Asad was taking deep breaths--he had made up his mind to confess and he wanted Zoya to listen to each and every word--Asad wants a lover/real fiance relationship with Zoya where he can love her all the time, touch her..hug her..be around her without hesitation..instead of stealing glances..he wants to stare at her with a "mujhey haq hai" kinda thing..he wants the relationship to be official..that's so precious! He wants a new beginning in their relationship like an actual couple!!!
#Asad wants to spend the rest of his life with Zoya..He doesn't wanna live a single day without her..Mitwa Ishq Pe Zor Nahin! ;)
#For Asad, it's "Zoya" now and not "Miss Farooqui".
#Asad gave Zoya a hug not only in front of his family but also in front of his relatives and friends..touched her face..didn't care who was watching..He's was all about Zoya!!!
#He danced with his Miss Farooqui.
#Asad has guy friends, haha!
#Asad accepted that Zoya has changed him...Awww! Love him!
#My favorite one..our Mr. Khan has learnt to smile..that's a big one..won't you agree?

A lot more can be written about positives in the last two episodes but I mentioned a few of Asad's only since everyone is hating on him...lol..wanted something nice written about Asad on the forum for a change.

To all those who are writing posts on Tanu Asad relationship...I am not trying to defend Asad here..or overlooking the fact that Tanu needs to go..I just want to say that we should look at the positive aspects too...When we can take so much time to write about the negative aspects of Qubool Hai..shouldn't we do the same with the positive things shown in the story? It's all about choices! :) I am not telling you to not discuss or talk about what you dislike about the show..I know that we are here on the forum to discuss about the show only...but don't get so caught up on what's not good in the show that you miss out on what's good in the show!!! Hope I am making any sense here!

Lets stay patient..we have watched Tanu for so long..thora or bardasht ker lein..because at the end of the day..like Asad said..Jhoot kay paoon nahin hotay/Love conquerors all..So with every new episode we are moving one step closer to Tanveer's exposure AND also to AsYa's confession. AsYa's love story is EPIC and different than any other love story that I have ever watched on TV...their confession is so worth the wait!

Friends, please don't lose hope, don't give up on the show, and like Dory says, just keep swimming; just keep swimming (if you have watched Finding Nemo then you know what I am talking about). Who said we can't use movie quotes for encouragement when disappointed with a TV show, LOL!

Last but not the least, I want to share a scripture with you..the word of The Lord for you :)
"I know the plans that I have for you, declares the Lord. They are plans for peace and not disaster, plans to give you a future filled with hope." (Jeremiah 29:11)

Most of the people on the forum find it easier to discuss negativity than positivity. Bad always outweigh the good here especially when it comes to Asad so I expect no better from them.

Agree with you..Very nice observation about Zoya's expression... I felt same way that she doesn't want Asad to go close to fire as she was scared that he may hurt himself..

I like your positives.EspeciallyAsad wants to spend the rest of his life with Zoya and that he's learnt to smile. (Oh how I love his smiles)

Maybe you are right with what you said about Zoya. I'll have to watch it over to see what you saw.

I love when Asad smiles!!! He's so in love!!! Also..One more positive thing that I just remembered..Asad accepted that Zoya has changed him..awww..oh I should add it in my actual post..haha..

I liked today's episode not because it was something great but because all characters came back to the show like gaffur, rashid were missing for last couple of weeks..felt like "Hara bhara parivar"

Yea..so true..everyone in the other Khan house was there..including Haseena Bi..lol..she cracks me up..Also, Shireen's one liners are just hilarious..

I haven't seen the episode yet, but I agree we need to focus on the positives. Part of me can understand the way Asad is acting. We as the audience know how crazy Tanveer is, to him she is his best friend whose past may be trying to harm her. Yes, this does not completely excuse his behavior towards Zoya, but I am hoping there is a reason behind so much trust in Tanveer. Potentially Asad realizing not everything is as it seems (I.e. Rashid), when Tanveer's truth comes out.

See..I understand that Asad shouldn't trust Tanveer blindly..but just like you said..Asad doesn't know what we know as viewers..he has no reason to doubt her..She hasn't done anything mean or rude around them so clearly they don't suspect her for anything..But this all is gonna bring out a life lesson for Asad..never judge book by its cover..So it's a good thing right.. Asad would always keep saying that Zoya isn't Tahzeeb kinda girl..naik searat etc unless he learns that Tanu..so called Tahzeeb yafta and a supposed perfect wife material wasn't so perfect after all..sad that Asad is gonna learn it the hard way..but we always have to suffer the consequences of the choices that we make..+ Asad is already head over heals in love with Zoya but he's gonna respect her more after he finds out about Tanu..he will know exactly that inner person matters more than the outside..

Thank you! :) I am not gonna predict anymore..hurts my brain..haha..Tanu will go from Khans lives but not technically..she will stay in the show because of Nikhat Imran track..So her friendship with Asad is obviously coming to an end but she's not leaving the show any time soon!
