Ok, Janhvi, I am all for girl power as well. Only Hermione would have despised this wussish duo,Onir and Purvi, and probably thought they would be better off with no door, given that their life is such an open book, for reasons that need not be spelt out,

PS: Why the devil do they have this stupid system, with the latest comment not at the top, where it should be, but at the bottom? I am always having to transpose it.

Vasu dear,

I genuinely feel that it does not matter if the readership is small; I will have you girls and a few others, and on any average thread, the max one can get of Likes is a dozen or so.

I do not expect the series to be a big hit, all the more so since the aficionadas of my old posts, which used to have a readership of 3000+, will be shocked and grieved by this new, relentless mocking of one and all. They can tolerate anger, even rage, directed at their favourites, for they feel that this is but another form of affection. But not ridicule.

I can understand that, but my problem is that I now see them differently - Arjun, Purvi and the rest. Have you read Oscar Wilde's The Picture of Dorian Grey? There is a stage actress in it whose Juliet is fabulous because she is able to imagine the pedestrian actor playing Romeo to be the real thing. Then one day she falls in love (with Dorian Grey, but that is not really relevant), and then she is no longer able to see her co-actor as Romeo, and her Juliet becomes wooden overnight.

It is the same now with me; when Arjun cries, I see his face working strenuously, and the batting of his eyelashes, and it is so ridiculous it makes me giggle. It the same with Purvi, and with Onir too, alas!

But I am glad you made me shift these to standalone posts; it would never have occurred to me to do it. Thank you, my dear girl.

I am sure the viewership will increase with time aunty. I myself only saw it my morning and saturday is usually a busy day for me. And I think your comments were more on the unfortunate Arjun, rightfully so based on show, but nevertheless it would have been a shock for the poor hearts that have would have become more tender with Arjun's sorrow they had seen yesterday. But never mind, it may be Purvi's or Onir's or Ovi's days in the coming chapters, won't it ? 😉

What a profound message! I wrote to Rayadallie the other day that we think we are objective but majority of the time, we only tend to view the show through the eyes of our favourite characters. Some of us move from one character to another and some of us stay with the same but we, as viewers, do not see through the truth in entirety because every character is true in their own way. This is true of real life too.

But isn't this emotional connection that is making us still believe in the show and come back to it day in and day out. This is what makes us believe in our characters, that they will turn around and better things are in store for them. In short, we are clinging on to our beliefs and it is no longer about the characters that are target objects of our affection. If I had seen this only as an entertainment, I would been out long back as this is no better show than many others I have missed.
