Is there a shortage of aaya's in India currently? Why has Arjun not found one yet? What amused me most was that DK didn't recognise that a baby was hungry and went along to acall the doctor when Pari cried. Arjun is hapless, that we know, but DK raised Arjun and must have been around some other babies most notably Ovi and Teju in Canada. How come he too was as hapless as Arjun? These men are hilarious. How they manage successful businesses is beyond me.😆

At least after the slapfest at the party before Purvi hotfooted it to Kolkata because this baby was on the way,while  telling all concerned that it was for Ovi's bhalayi (and this is the girl now lecturing Arjun on lying!), he could have done something. Ovi was fed up and ready to let him go. He should then have got her to agree to a  divorce, but no, he had to jump thru the new hoop that Purvi held out for her tame poodle. That is when I lost all respect for him, and now of course he is a nowhere man, crying all the time and looking like a wet rag.What a wimp!

So that is where Manav is coming from, you see. He did not ask Arjun to marry Ovi, on the contrary, he kicked him out once he declared that he loved Purvi. He even agreed to do Purvi's kanyadaan, which I would never have done in  his place with a suicidal daughter on his hands because of this very marriage. It was very impertinent and unfeeling of Purvi to have gone to his place and asked him to do it. But then she is "like that only", and only thinks of what she wants, and is always convinced of her own righteousness. That is a family trait, it seems, among the Karanjkars.

Manav was shocked and dismayed when Arjun and Ovi turned up married. So he has every right to expect that having decided to make the Grand Sacrifice, Arjun usko nibhayega. Whence his reaction now.
