^Not at all. At the end of the day, even a serial killer is human. So "humanizing" Don looks more real in that sense. Mind you, he's shown to be just human enough to have a soft corner for somebody, yet his larger badassery suppresses it. That's the real deal IMO. A person who's "too cool" to have basic human feelings isn't human at all; he's a boring robot. Exactly what AB's Don was.
@Pathaka: NO man , no matter how "cool" for anything you think he is, is too cool to not care when it comes to seduction or sexual feelings (unless of course it's a disorder or something like that). DON at the end of the day IS human (what else would he be? an alien? A robot? He doesn't have the characteristics of a "nice" human, he's evil and sinister but he IS human) and it's inevitable for a human to be too cool for sexual feelings, they are natural and a part of us and indulging in it doesn't make don less evil or not "cool". in the Farhan Akhtar film he showed Don to have indulged in it only to kill Kamini at the end as far as I remember and that makes him more evil and shows that the bad guy takes over whatever it was that he was feeling, IMO.

thts exactly my point...i dunt care much for realism or realistic depictions of characters in such a genre...this isnt a realistic film anyway...i dunt want Don to be relatable...he needs to be larger than life...
SRK's don is NO way relatable, just because he gave a little bit of attention to someone seducing him(only to kill her at the end) or is turned on doesn't make him relatable... in the end the badass guy takes over everything. And just because SRK's don is more realistic than AB's doesn't mean it isn't larger than life, isn't equally cool, isn't sinister or evil (it is in fact much more evil than AB's one) or that the portrayal was bad or was done to garner some applaud.
@first paragraph: in this case, the word relatable is used interchangeably with humanization...@second paragraph...that is my opinion and my interpretation of both the performances......just like u feel SRK's don was better, i feel the opposite...there is no absolute fact as to which portrayal was better...it changes from person to person...neither of us are "right" so therz no point in stating opinions as facts...i was merely trying to argue some points raised by the members as to "why" srk's portrayal was better and giving my interpretation of his performance and why i think ABs portrayal is better...its as simple as that...
