Mayank was desperately waiting for her..he knew she would try to send someone else..that's why he asked the office staff to leave early not informing
Nupur..he was impatirntly waiting for his dorrbell to ring..!!! And bingo..it rang..he starighthen himself and opened the door only to witness an angel standing
infront of him..water was dropping from her face making it shiny in adim light'the drop falling from her eye lids seems when an ice got melt from the leaf petal
and fall down'he was so lost in her that he didn't noticed that she was calling him..Nupur called him a little loud."Mayank..".
He came to his senses and then realises she was all wet'Mayank:Nupur tum itni bheeg kese gayi'aao ander aao'
Nupur:Vo mein auto se aa rahi thi..aur baarish itni tez ho rahi thi'to..
Mayank:Tum auto se kyu aayi'tumhare paas tumhari gaadi hain'
Nupur..not meeting his eyes'Haan vo actually..meri gaadi kharab ho gayi thi..
Mayank:Ohh'vese tum poori bheeg chuki ho..why don't you change'
Nupur:Mayank mein extra dress nahi laayi hoon..
Mayank ..thinking a bit'.aisa karo..jab tak tumhari dress nahi dry ho jaati..tab tak tum mere kapde..change kar lo'
Nupur:Mayank mein kese'and turned around..
Mayank:Nupur 'hum to friends hain na'tum itna uncomfortable kyu feel kar rahi'
Nupur towards him.."Mein..nahi..thik hain'
Mayank gave his shirt and pj and escort her to the bathroom and he himself moved towards kitchen to make hot hot coffee for them'
Nupur hesitantly put her foot forward from washroom and came out..she glanced over the whole room'the room clearly depicts Mayank's choice..white walls..a
study table'his wardrobe..everything was neat and tidy..typical Mayank sharma'she came out of the room'drying her hair from towel'and was moving towards balcony to hang the towel their'
she turned her head to other side'to dry her hair'and was turning her head again and again..not noticing that her hair were touching someone's face and sprinkling water drops on his face'
Mayank was standing just behind Nupur ..the water droplets from her hair were like cool drop on his hot body..he was so lost in them..the way her hair were
touching his face'was so'mesmerising..!! he was already lost when he saw her in his attire and now this was just making him insane'
He gained his concious and stepped back not to create any uncomfortableness between them and cleared his throat to mark his presence over there..Nupur was jolted at this and slowly turned towards him not meeting his gaze.
Mayank:mm..Coffee..ready hain..chalo..chal k pee lete haan..
Nupur could only able to nod her head and followed him'They were having silent coffee'when Nupur's phone rang she moved a little bit away..after attending the call as soon she turned she collapsed with Mayank 'it seems she collised with a wall..and lost her balance was about to fall when he caught her in
between'.
His gaze was fixed on her'he was intently looking into her eyes and Nupur was allwoing him..to do so'desolating themseleves to the world they were staring into each other'without breaking the eye lock Mayank asked her,"Kyu avoid kar rahi ho tum mujhe.."
Nupur pretending as of she didn't understood what he was saying:What kya keh rahe ho tum'mujhe juch samjh nahi aa raha ..and please leave me..
Mayank made her stand on her feet and hold her both arms tightly':Aaakhir aise kon si baat hai..why the hell you are avaoiding me..Nupur..
Nupur..not meeting his gaze..Mayank tum kya keh rahe ho..mein kuch samjh nahi paa rahi hoon'mein tumhe avoid..
Mayank'angrily:don't pretend as if tumhe pata nahi mein kis baare mein baat kar raha hoon..
Nupur:chodo mujhe Mayank'
Dragging her more close to him:Why are you behaving like this Nupur'what's going on in your mind'!!come on tell me god damm it'Nupur..tell me'Look into my eyes'."
Saying he forcefully pulled her towards her due to which she was compelled to look into his eyes..Her eyes were showing a pain..a guilt where his eyes..were showing anger..anger of not knowing the reason for which she was avoiding him..this is killing him from inside'
Nupur:Mayank mujhe chod do'
Mayank:nahi pehle mere sawalo ka jawab do'
Nupur:Mayank mujhe dard ho raha'
Mayank:Aur uss dard ka kya jo mujhe tumhare iss behaviour se ho raha hain'Nupur please batao'.kya hua hain' loosing his grip'
Tears were trickling from her eyes..Mayank wiped them off and very softly asked,"Please batao..Nupur'.kyu kar rahi ho ye sab.."
Nupur couldn't able to hold it longer and burst into tears:Mayank..I am feelig so ashamed of myself'.mene pata nahi uss raat tumhare saath kesa behave liya
hoga'mein kitni pagal hoon..pata nahi mujhe kya ho gaya tha'mene aaj tak hard drinks ko haath tak nahi lagaya aur uss raat mene'tears were not stopping
from her eyes..she leaned her head on his shoulder and cried her heart out:Agar tumhari jagah koi aur hota to pata nahi mere saath kya kya ho chuka hota'
thank you so much for being there with me'Pata nahi mene na jaane tumhe nashe ki halat mein kya kya keh dala hoga'I am so ashamed'that I couldn't able to get courage to face you'!! I am sorry Mayank.. I am so sorry'!!!
Mayank calming her down and wiping her tears he cupped her face and said,"Bas itni si baat'.Nupur tumhe mujhper bharosa hain na'She nodded her head'then why are you feeling so ashamed..tumne uss raat aisa kuch nahi kiya aur kaha jiske wajah se tumhe sharminda hone pade..infact it should be me..to apologise you'mene na jaane gusse mein tumhe kitna kuch keh diya..aur tumhe sorry bhi nahi bola..I am really sorry'.
Nupur:It's okay'They stared into each other eyes and burst in laughter'.they were laughing out loud..removing that pinch of awkwardness between them..
They were standing in the balcony enjoying the weather when Mayank said,"Vese aaj achanak se bin mausam baarish kese ho gayi.."
Nupur:Ye bin mausam baarish nahi hain'Ye to pyar ki baarish hain..
Mayank in confusion:Matlab'
Nupur:Matlab..Mr.Sharma'aaj Valentine Day'aaj k din..do pyar karne wale apni mohabbat ka izhaar karte hain'aaj ka din to pyar walo k naam hain'
Mayank:To kyu na hum bhi celebrate kare ..
Nupur:Hum kese..
Mayank:I know..but don't take it wrong mera matlab hain ki..as friends hum celeberate kar sakte hain..
Nupur pouting:Kese'
Mayank:Well'forwading his hand..Ms.Nupur Bhshan may I have a pleasure to dance with you..
Nupur accepting his request ,putting her hand on his :Sure'

Mayank's P.O.V.
Today was a good day'no'best day'but I didn't thought that this day would turn like this'.For the first time Nupur initiated a hug..!!! It feels she is coming to
her usual self'
For a moment I couldn't able to even react and believe that she had actually hugged me'it literally took few minutes for me to come out of this shock'!!! But I liked this shock..it gives me a pleasure..a satisfaction..that the comfort level between us is returning back though with snail's speed but yet in a positivie forward direction'today I am really happy..happy from my heart..my heart is jumping with joy'!!!
God..!! I hate this office work..specially when my darlings are waiting for me and even one has already said to come early'I need to patch up'as much fast as I could'I need to compile my work..and need to rush home'home'isn't it funny..few days back..it was just a house for me a place which is0late me and leave me with the only memories of Nupur..and made me cry'but now..this house which has now converted into home..brings an unusual smile on my face..eagers
me..to reach it..it is no more gloomy now'
now I am not alone..i had my love and my daughter..my daughter'I still I can't believe I am a father of 3 yr old girl'no father of a cute girl..!!! She is so sweet..i had never thought my daughter would be so cute..and so lovely'.
With each and passing day ..the more..she is getting comfortable with me'the more..and the more..i am getting attached to her..i had never thought about being a father..how father cares for their children but when ever I saw her cute unknown to me..i tried to protect her from every hurdle..my heart always thought of new new ideas to bring that sweet smile on her face'
I always longed to fulfill her unsaid demands..all that matters me her happpiness'her smile'if she would ask me to bring stars for her'I could even will do this also for her'..why I feel..that I had a kind of authority to correct her when she is wrong..!!! why I felt so hevenly when she smiles at me'is this what we call love of parents towards their children'like my parents have cared for me..
why this nature automatically comes from me..when ever I think about Shriya being my daughter'my daughter..this is biggest truth'the answer of all my questions'and I am quite pleased with it.. I don't have to act on certain issues..it's just the feeling of being a parent..enables to bring out these sort emotiins in me'
Wow..!!! I wish I could able to just look at Nupur like this..wow'today someone..no not someone..today my lady love my life..was there to open the door for me'so much I was waiting for this moment..this what I started feeling to come hone as somewhere I dreamed that one day she will open a door for me' like a wife opens dooe for her husband when he came back from his work'
I was coming from office and before I ring the bell Nupur open's open it..and today it actually happened'I felt to look at her like this forever she was looking so fresh ..something unsual was there on her smile..somewhat giving me the glimse of my old Nupur'I wish to stand there and look her like this''
but I spot out daughter was kneely watching us or rather say..was kneely observing the staring session'.of her parent's ..though I do not want this..but still I have to broke this..not wanting to create any type of embarresment'
Well Mr.Sharma you need to be carefull'you are not alone here'.
