Mayank spoke giving answer to her question:Haan Shriya'aap to bahut ache ho..good girl..
She didn't said anything but returned her favourite smile to him'while Nupur was amusingly adoring their relation'and wish the moment to stay like this'her two most important persons in her life are getting close..and forming themseleves in a relation of father-daughter..this what she always longed'
Having the dinner..the trio sat with Shriya to watch cartoon with her on her great interst'since she insisted Nupur but also caught Mayank's finger's and dragged them to the living area'.Mayank was just loving this feeling of being held by his daughter again and again'
She made them to sit on the sofa'and herself made settle in between them still bending towards the Nupur more'still a line of hesitation was there'while Shriya was fully engrossed in her cartoon..Mayank thought to chat a bit with Nupur..just a random chat..
Mayank:Thand kafi badh gayi hain'..hain na..
Nupur:Haan'.lagta hain aas pass k area mein snowfall hui hain
Mayank:Hmm..Tumhare .. pass..ache warmers to hain na'raat ko thand to nahi lagti..mein aur blanket nikal deta hoon varna..
Nupur:Nahi Mayank uski zarurat to nahi hain'
Mayank:Aur Shriya ko'uske pass to zayeda kapde bhi nahi hain'kal uske liye aur warmers aur sweates le lenge..
Nupur:Mayank'uske pass..bahut hain..itna tension lene ki zarurat nahi hain'abhi to kuch dino pehle..uske liye tumne dher saaari shopping ki thi..tum to sachi mein bigad doge usse'
Mayank:Haan to meri beti hain..uski har wish uske bolne se pehle mein poori..karunga'
Nupur:Okay..okay..fine..jesa aap chahe'.
Mayank:Tumne ek baat notice ki'
Nupur:Kya'
Mayank:Shriya k bilkul meri tarah dimple padte hain'hain..na'
Nupur:hmm..so to hain'.aur uski smile bhi bilkul tumhari jesi hain'
Mayank:haan you are right'
They passes each other smile and'get back'to watch cartoon with Shriya'smiling themselves'feeling content'
Mayank was watching T.V. just now they had switched the channel from cartoon to news'.when after couple of times he felt something heavy on his arm'..he tried to ignore..it'thinking'some cushion must there..and was keenly watching the business news'still the heavyness..didn't get'away from his hand'.he looked towards it..was still for a moment'.infact..the moment got still for him'he was very much pleased..
He was feeling heavy on his hand not because of the some cusion..or other thing..but because'..his daughter..his angel'his life..has put her small'head on his arm..and was sleeping soundly'her head was resting on his..arm'and a sweet small smile was playing on her lips..it seems'she is watching..a very beautifull dream'.for the first time'he could felt the fragile touch..the soft warmth of his daughter..around him..he want to enclose it..but still he didn't he don't want to break her sleep'and most profously'he don't want to break her that dream..which is bringing a sweet smile on her lips in real'
Mayank not moving his hand on which Shriya was sleeping'whisperly called out Nupur,"Nupur'Nupur.."
Nupur:Haan..kya hua'aise whisper kyu kar rahe ho'"
Mayank:Dheere bolo..Shriya so rahi han'and pointed towards Shriya through his eyes'
Nupur..was also..little bit of surprised..seeing her leaning to Mayank and sleeping soundly'as if nothing matters to her..all she needed her father's warmth..and she was getting it..and that could could easily be seen as her smile was reflecting everything'she give a surprised smile to Mayank..switched off the television and whispered back to Mayank::I think hume..isse room mein..ache se sula dena chahiye'.varna agar iski kacchi nind khul gayi'to raat bhar pareshaan hogi'
He nodded his head in affirmation and was about to get up when Nupur screamed yet in whispered voice:Are Mayank kya kar rahe ho..uth kyu rahe ho'vo jaag jayegi'.thoda araam se'..aisa karo'tum se utha k room mein le aao..mein tab tak iska bed..banati hoon'
He just nodded his head..all was this only left for him'very slowly'he held her..and made her lay on his shlouder..she moved a bit in irritation as is her dream is getting disturbed but soon when into her dreamland when she felt a soft and warm pat on her back..
Mayank felt..her little move..so he soflty..patted her'back..he was feeling so great..his daughter was sleeping on his shoulder so soundly..unware of the world..everything..and that was with her the warmth of her father'she was getting..
He firmly held her'close to him'and let is pair of legs to move towards her room'taking small steps not making any hindrance in her sweet sleep'he made her lay softly on her bed while Nupur covered her with blanket..as it's quite cold..but the warmth and comfort level she was getting from her father's that couldn't be able to give by this blanket and they could able to kno..as she frowned a little when Mayank detatched her from him and made her lay on the bed'.Nupur smiled seeing this..and slowly patted her'making her to get back to her..sleep'.
Both of them came down'and sat back again on their sofa'when Mayank broke the silence,"Kitni gehri nind mein so rahi thi'like completely unaware if happenings and lost herself in her dream'
Nupur:Hmm.you are right'after quite long time..she had visited park..and really for the first time..she played..she swinged..on a swing..have you watched her smile..when she was going high and high'
Mayank:How could I miss it..Nupur..and even I felt so much overjoy when she said"Aur jol se'"..her voice is so sweet..she is so delicate..when I picked her up to make her laid on her bed..she seems me like a feather of bird..soft'ductile..fragile'and a carrying a sign to "handle with atmost..care.."
Nupur:True Mayank'..Dhruv has set up..an unknown fear in her..a fear..of everything..whether..being getting scolded..or beated..or even being fall'.he used to scare her'his terror had a great effect on her..he had made my child a horror ' stricken kitten'by the time her eyes were moist'Mayank put his hand on her shoulder..not with anguish feel..but a soft consoling..hand'wanting to know'the disease..so that could be cure properly'
She continued to say,"She is afraid of everything Mayank'everything'specially..of him..she still feels somewhere Dhruv is watching her..and if she do a mistake..or something..he will beat her or will ill-treat her'Mayank happiniess always short-lived in her eyes..and fear..took that place..today also..she grabbed my hand so tightly..on entering the park..she was scare of people..because according to her they reflects the image of Dhruv'in every person she saw his image..and became more and more'frightened'she is my very obidient child'in this age..when children don't listen to their mother..regarding their food or milk'and make her run to whole house'Mayank'my daughter'never does..this..she quitely listens to me..and very nicely follows whatever I say'in literal means'But I am not happy..Mayank'I am not happy for her'she is loosing her childness'you know how much pleasure a parent could have when they run behind their child and when they sat down due to tiredness..they came..and do'for which their parents were running for them'Mayank'she is scared to do this'she is scared Mayank'but today I am so much happy'.she is really taking her fear out slowly'.very slowly'A shine came up in her eyes between those tears'today she enjoyed from her heart'she loved the park'else under the presence of the devil she had been afraid of her own shadow'but now'she was loosing her fear near the people''she is beacoming really something I was wanting'all this could happen because of you'she had really a great trust on you Mayank'.you made her realise that..you are certainly not a bad man..you are her father'.who alsways protect their child'she has this feeling Mayank'.that you will always protect her'.
He put his hand..on her'shoulder..passing a slight pressure to her body giving her assurance'
Mayank:I will..Nupur..I will'I will always protect..will save my daughter from every evil shadow..of this world'I will mak her overpower from her fear'I will bring her all childishness'.I will taught her to accept her shadow'sh'll be courageous'.I know it will take time'But I know...she will trimphed over her fear'
Nupur..smilingly..:And I will be always be there for you to help'.and also..the mission of powering her fear has already been started'
Mayank:When..and from where..and how'..!!
Nupur..raising her brows..in amused expression she said:When we were returning from park'
Mayank..a content..smile appeared on his face..and he said:Yes..!!! You are right..today I am on cloud nine..Nupur..I felt on the top of the world..My daughter..held my finger Nupur'I can't tell you..how I felt..it was just beyond everything Nupur..it was jut fantastic'I'.
Nupur:I know..Mayank'I know'I am also feeling happy'this is indeed a start'and soon'everything thing will be back to normal'.
Mayank:I wish Nupur..I wish'.today 'I am so happy today'
Nupur..smiling ear to ear:Me too Mayank'.
They share a light..hug'expressing their happiness'.
Breaking the hug Nupur said,"Acha bahut late ho chuka hain..let's sleep..now'You are also looking very tired'first office and then..park and all..this..your little 'no no..my mistake..your this..king size brain'needs rest Mr.Sharma'.
Mayank..giggling a bit:I think you are right'I certainly need a good sleep'
They were heading towards their room when something strike Mayank and he said,"Oh..No..!!!"
Nupur:What happen'
Mayank..sinking his heart'and said in sad tone:Tomorrow I have an important meeting..I have to go to office..
Nupur'was in a little bit confused..what she should say'she can't let Mayank away from his work..neither she want him to leave her..but how long she could stop him..she very well know how much work is important for Mayank..and if she leave every possible emotional..decisions'if she think practically'she can't let Mayank to say..not to go office..they have to come to a normal life..they have to like other normal family..father goes to office and comes at evening'while she was thinking..all this Mayank was keenly watching her facial expressions..trying to figure out what's going in her mind..he snapped his finger's infront of her to bring back her to earth and asked her,"What happen Nupur.."
Coming from her thoughts she said,"Huh..Nothing'.you'll go tomorrow'I'll prepare your lunch..
Mayank:No no need of that I'll try to come back till lunch'
Nupur:Okay'I'll prepare breakfast for you..what you will you have for tomorrow's morning'
Mayank:Anything Nupur but one item should be present'.
Nupur:Which one tell me'
Mayank:Your hand made coffee..I just simply loved it'
Nupur pretend to think and then said in her dramatic tone:Okay but in one condition'.
Mayank:what'
Nupur:You have to make coffee for me at night'deal'
Mayank:At all cost Madam'You servent will be at your serve..
Nupur..still in the same tone:Good'
Before she enter's into her room..she heard Mayank calling her and wishes her goodnight passing his dimple smile to her..she replied back with same sent on her smile which makes Mayank gaga..Both of them resides to their room.
