Musical battle comes to an end: Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Grand Finale

1995 till date..Yes you guessed it right, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa had started it's journey in way back in 1995 and till 2012 it has seen over 16 seasons at 1076+ episodes. This is truly an amazing achievement. And it is still going strong. This years season of musical reality show was premiered in Sep. 2012 and since then this show has witnessed some amazing and talented singers. So, who are the Top Finalists of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa ?
This year there will be not 3, but 4 finalists in Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Grand Finale. Yes, over 1,20,000 auditions were conducted in New Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata to select 100 contestants and out of these, the top fifteen then competed for a position in the top ten for five weeks, with two contestants being eliminated each week for three weeks, and one each for weeks 4 and 5. In the fifth week, three of the eliminated contestants won back their positions in the top ten by defeating three other contenders, to make up the final list of top ten. And then, these Top 10 did compete in a contest to be decided by viewers through voting. After all this, every week there were elimination episodes and finally Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2012 grand finale had it's top 4 finalists – Vishwajeet Borwankar from Mumbai, Shehnaz Akhtar from Punjab, Jasraj Joshi from Pune and Mohammed Aman from Rajasthan, who was Eliminated in Week 3; but successful came back during wild-card entry episode. All these singers have made it to the highest level of the show and now they are all set to give their best to win this honor.
Did you know that Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2012 grand finale date was extended one week due to Zee Cine Awards 2013 ? Hence Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2012 grand finale will be aired from 7:30 PM on ZEE TV. To make the show complete entertainer, Zee TV has roped in well known comedian Kapil Sharma and Jay Bhanushali to join as co hosts with Javed Ali. So who will be the celebrity judge at this years Grand Finale? Some of you might remember that Badshah of Bollywood Shahrukh Khan was the celebrity guest on Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li'l Champs grand finale held in Oct 2011 when he crowned Azmat Hussain the winner of the season. So any guess for this years celebrity judge? Well, Mr 'Khiladi' Akshay Kumar will be the one who will crown the winner. So who do you think will win the final battle ? Will it be Vishwajeet Borwankari, Shehnaz Akhtar , Jasraj Joshi or Mohammed Aman ? If you by the trend in this show and the most talked about singer this season, it has to be Jasraj Joshi from Pune. He has this unique voice quality and the moment he appears on stage he rocks the stage. A true Indian Rockstar.
