It's been so long since I've spoken to you and yeah def agree, hope to see Adi bring one to Pankhudi like Sharna said. That would be uber cute, I feel their chemistry was absolutely brilliant today! The hesitation and desire was portrayed briliiantly!

Married Hindu women wore different things as geographically things or ornaments change i know few places ----
Like North -(UP, UK, Bihar, MP) Mainly these area Important things are _-----Sindoor , Glass Bangle , Bichiye ( toe Rings)

Maharashtra and South -----> Mangasutra is most important

Bangal, Udisa , I guess in Assam also -----> A special type of Bangle which comes in Red n White color They have a special name They made which special material

Panjabi's ---- CHOODA which is important for the first Whole year then they change to any type of bangle ,

Kashmiri - Dejharoo is worn by a Kashmiri women. Dejharoo is a pair of gold pendants hanging on a gold chain through the holes in the ear lobes
These many i know pl update me also if you know any and if i said something wrong pl. correct me . All types of comments are welcome .

@red - The white is made of conch shell - sankha

The red one is made of coral.

There is a third one - made of iron/steel

Sindoor must.

Those information are for Bengal.

Thanks for updating me ... How can i forget Sindoor in Bengal married women ... There is ia big day of SINDOOR KHELA during Durga pooja ... Thanks a lot for the information ... Can you please tell me what these Bangels are called?

The Conch bangel is called Sankha.

The red coral one is called pola ( nowadays it is mostly synthetic, natural ones very costly )

The iron one is called loha.

In an affluent family, all three are properly designed and decorated with silver, gold or platinum.

Even in a no-cost marriage, the sankha and sindoor must.
