Why does Pankuri not wear a mangal sutra? ( sorry I am not indian myself so don't know the right spelling 😕 )

i thought it was essential..i could understand if she didn't wear sindoor but mangal sutra...most married women in serials wear them...even pankuri's mom etc

I thought the same thing. She's not shown to be outwardly expressive about her marriage. It could have to do with the fact that so far they have not lived as a married couple nor really "accepted" each other as husband/wives but maybe now they will..

Good point!
