Why do we have WEAK No #1's since 1998/1999?!

Ever since the Sridevi/Madhuri era, we have had weak #1's since 1998. 😲 Kajol was #1 for one year and then slowed down. Her reign was weak, then came Aish in 1999 and 2000. But, her foothold wasn't wrong and Bebo tried to get the top spot. Then, Madhuri came back in 2002 with Aish in Devdas. Then, 2003 Preity was on top. Rani ruled 2004 and 2005. 2006 and forward has been debatable. It seems like it was Rani/Aish/Preity in 2006, Bebo in 2007, Priyanka in 2008, and then Kat/Vidya/Bebo fighting it out from 2009 and forward. The thing is no heroine has been consistent. If you think about it, all of these heroines were WEAK NO.1's. And it is such a extended period of time. So, Bollywood has really sucked since 1997. For over 15 years, no heroine could even rule for more than 2 years consistently! Or, is it just to much competition? Why do we have WEAK No. #1's since Madhuri and Sridevi?! 😕

I think there's too much competition now.. who was Maduri and Sridevi's competition during their time? They hardly had any competition. And I feel like back than.. everyone was doing their own job.. now I feel like the actresses try to out do each other.

No wonder Madhuri and Sridevi are considered as legends...

i think kareena is pretty consistent since 2007! if she disappoints with a mindless movie she balances it with a good one and with a strong performance!

agree 😆 the mindless movies gives her BO hits while the flop movies give her acclaim !
