Agreed dear , his anger is coz he has protected his baby sis and like he said all the girls went there with their guardians ..so yeah his anger is justified.

though i really like zoya's character but
lying, supporting lies, is no show of independence.
asking sum1 to say multiple times "i"m sorry" is putting down sum1 "s esteem every time. not evn parents do that to their own kids. then who in the world is zoya to make any1 do that. "i'm sorry" was feeding to zoya's ego every phone call...n then we call men egotistic :)
you are a guest when you obey the rules of the place you are staying at.
only caring about your own will under some1 elses's roof is just plain old "using them" .

lastly though the parent comment is extremely inappropriate yet sadly true. no american born kid leaves a house dirty whn asked to cleanup let alone a guest's house. barely any1 has maids in states. every1 does their own part in the house. evn the house where maids r, they r so clean n well kept that the only things maids ever do is to dust, vaccum and at most wash dishes. so I'm not sure which america did she come from? surely the one where she wasn't raised by her parents.

luckily it's a luv story n they'll meet half way through but now u asked the question...is assad justified...it's his house , his rules. who r we to judge :) we'll do our part whn he will b on zoya's mercy.

My 2 cents..

Zoya is Zoya and no one can stop her from doing what she wants (running away from her wedding, staying back in India and now this cricket match) She is an adult and very much capable of making her own decisions, so Asad shouldn't try to impose his decisions on her. We all know, no one can win against Zoya (se even won the cricket quiz bet and managed to hand over Asad's broken phone back to him)

Najma on the other hand, although an adult, is still child like especially when it comes to standing up for herself and making decisions. Even though she admires Zoya's guts, she doesn't have the courage to stand up against her bhaijaan. I think Najma should have informed Asad that she was going for the match. If she had been firm about her decision, I am sure Asad would have accompanied her or given her permission (like the hair scene in the closet) Najma is Asad's weakness and if she were to stand her ground, he would bend his rules for her. I blame Najma more that Asad or Zoya. Najma knows her brother well, and even though subconsciously, she wants to break free like Zoya, she is fearful of stepping over her brother's rules.

If anyone, Najma should intervene and try to clear the air. There is no reason for Zoya to leave the house but let's see what the writers have in store.

Hi Bheegi, is that really you? I had to read the name twice. Very very pleased to see you back. I used to be an avid reader of your work.

And, agree with your answer.

in Asad defence i'l like to say that he is an old fasion guy. but he is not stuck in time like mamu jhan. but Asad as the only male in the house, who had to take responsibility of his mother and sister at a very young age is over protective of his sisters, be it Najma or even Nusrat and Nikhat. he knows the world is a hash place espicialy for girls. and one as timid as Najma, and even Nikhat.

after Najma get eveteased in collage and Zoya saves her, Najma is more afraid that if her brothers comes to know he would hunt down the boys and beat the bejejes out of them.
Asad was not angry the they went to the match but that they lied. he is more angry that Najma who has shared everything with him now lies to him and he thinks it is zoya's influence. and yes he was wrong to let her leave the house. but the truth is he will also be the one to go searching for her and bring her back home.
with Zoya and Asad i feel their personalities will slowly rub of on each other and zoya whild ways will settel and Asad will become more out going.
if Zoya and Ayaan get together they will difinitely need a babysitter for sure and Asad will hate that job😆😆😆

i agree with him to some extent. zoya has sort of been a little blunt with what her thinking is. although she may have a good point, her tareeka is sometimes wrong. like for instance that najma's hair business, zoya had to have an argument with asad to try to make him understand her point whereas najma only needed to softly say to asad that she likes the length and she wants to keep it and he accepted almost straight away. However, as zoya rightly said in the meteor shower episode, asad may have something personal against zoya which is why he tends to pounce back at her even though he may feel deep down, some of what zoyas points are right. it may be because of how she is like, what she wears, the way she talks etc.

I think it was just the heat of the moment as he felt bad about najma also lying and since he may have a slight personal problem with zoya. in my opinion it was mere human nature but also felt really bad for zoya, bechari aaj hi ki din yeh sab hona tha 😭
