First of all...Zoya shouldn't have go there...even if she is going..what was the point of taking Najma with her? Asad clearly said He doesnt want Najma to go..still zoya did this...Ok Fine u want to go..but u just cant take najma with u...asad is over protective about najma..she knows..but she still did this...by doing this she disrespect Asad's decision... actually I think Because of zoya Najma is going away from Asad...najma started lying, started hiding things from asad..which she never did before...so practically zoya ruining najma... u r living in Asad's house..atleast show some respect... so i think asad's gussa is justified...

Now comes another thing..that Asad shouldnt have talk about Zoya's parents..may be he doesnt know Her pain and all..but still he should have do that..normal scolding was fine...But i hope he will realise his mistake when he will get to know that Zoya has a bitter past too...

zoya being a guest should respect the rules of the house...she should not have gone to the match and that too dragged najma along...so its quite natural for asaad to blow up...but I do not think he is justified to talk about her parents or upbringing or even kick her out of the house...after all she is his mum's guest...

She not only disobeyed hima nd his genuine concern but also, took Najma with her even though Najma is Asad's weakness.

Zoya is kind of girl who lives life on her own terms.
She doesnt like to live her life on anyone else principles. She is independent, hardworking, intelligent and compassionate. She is very focused in everything she does. But belives in living life every moment happily even though she has grief and pain.

I see Zoya and Asad as two similar personalities with opposite way of lifestyles. But both crave for same love and attention from their parents.

Asad miss his father in his life so much, but doesnt show up. He become like he is now stubborn, and cold towords love and compassion becoz he saw her mother suffering without his father.

Zoya lost her mother but in search of her father. She didnt get the love of her mother and doesnt know her father as well. Zoya is what she is now becoz of her brought up in a different country little pampered by her cousin. Yet still connected to her roots.

Asad shows up his frustration in Anger
Zoya shows up her frustration in doing things with mischief.

In terms of Asad asking Zoya to leave the house is in a way correct becoz he doesnt want his family to disobey becoz of others influence.

Its not correct that Zoya to not abide by house rules where she is staying. Its equally disrespecting those whom she is staying with.

Even the paying guest also follow few rules and guidelines where they stay. So its all fair what Asad did to ask Zoya to leave their house.

As people say life teaches us everything sometimes in sweeter way sometimes harder way. This fire and Ice combination will make them Love, Laugh and Live together.

Nice post and very valid points have so far been made both for and against Asad's attitude/behaviour...

So here is my two cents worth on this topic...For all intents and purposes Asad's behaviour would appear to be an act of male chauvinism, but in my opinion we should consider his past and what could have led to his adopting this attitude...He would have been very young when his father left them and went away...all through his growing up years he would have seen his mother suffering from the pain of a broken marriage through no fault of his mother's...One effect of this has already been shown thru his distrust of an emotion called love...It would have also made him extra protective of his mum and sister...Him being the only male influence in their lives...

Agreed that his behaviour irked me too but after thinking about the effects of his past on his psyche I think what he actually needs is to fall in love...He needs a girl who can stand up to him and at the same time love him so much that she will meet him half way...I think that's exactly what the makers are trying to show...Two diametrically opposite people coming together and probably falling in love...and how that love changes their way of thinking...

All said and done I think this is a very well done show...well executed and very well acted by all...
