Nope! He is not..

Thinking about it, from a 21st century girl's point of view, I don't see anything wrong with the girls having gone for a cricket match..

Agreed that Zoya should be a bit more considerate towards his views and so-called 'rules' since she's living in his house as his Ammi's guest.. Bickering with him and serving him 'tit-for-tat' is okay but she shouldn't have taken Najma along today without having informed him.. Since he'd clearly stated that he has issues with her going alone as well..

And like many of you've already stated, he could've taken them, himself! But then again, they should've asked him to.. did they?? 😕 Errmm.. Its all soo gol-mol..

But yes, asking her to leave the house coz of that is a bit too much.. 😲
He could've expressed his anger and unhappiness, but asking her to leave, (though indirectly) is soo not justified! Coz no matter how high- principled he may be, asking her to leave like that is unfair and against basic chivalry! And also, being her host doesn't give him the right to drag her parents into the midst of the confrontation for such a trivial thing..

Having said that, here's the silver lining, I'm not sure, but if he's pissed off with the fact that she took Najma along, then his anger is sort of justified..
but if he's mad at the fact that ZOYA WENT AGAINST HIM, toh beta, daal mein kaala kya, poori daal hi kaali hai.. Let's wait and watch.. 😉😛

Let's see if Dilshad gives her darling son a piece of her mind or attempts to knock some sense into him.. 😊

speaking for myself...if i was in asad's place i would have kicked her out...you live in someone''s house you according to them nt accordin u...u cant dirty his house take him for granted spoil his phone distance his sister from him defy him in his own house and not expect him to do anything.
agreed he gets a bit too protective and stuck up at times...but zoya should learn to respect limits

zoya being a guest should respect the rules of the house...she should not have gone to the match and that too dragged najma along...so its quite natural for asaad to blow up...but I do not think he is justified to talk about her parents or upbringing or even kick her out of the house...after all she is his mum's guest...

I feel its IMO to understand that ASad never meant to behave like a tyrant or stuff...he is just overprotective of Najma coz well rashid shirked his responsibility and hence ASad is like that
Also, Zoya is staying inhis house and he feels obligated to look after her...remember he asked her if she wants to go somehwere m he could drive her and stuff ...but yeah he could have taken her ...

@attiyah yeah baby Zoya is carefree, talk ABIUT being bubbly and yeah diamond is cutting into fine diamond..I got I addicted...oops sorry about that😉

@ raj bingo 🤗
Perfect way to analyze ...put urself in that person's place and the think ...very nicely put ...yes India ain't a ne w York and ASad knows that.

@ Nishi...hi there...I think ppl who are supporting Asad's behavior are forgetting that Najma is not a child...neither she is a school going kid. She was certainly not dragged to the stadium...was she? Another point is Zoya is staying in the house as Dilshad's guest and Dilshad was the one who asked Najma to accompany Zoya.

It was extremely and derogatory of Asad to drag in Zoya's parents into this. A self respected woman would never return back to the same house...but I am sure the PH will make Zoya return because they are great at promoting the constant insulting of a woman. They did the same in the previous show.

he's justified...Zoya is lil irresponsible gal.. y is she keep forgetting tht she is living in some one's else's house ... as a guest she shld show some respect towards them i.e follow their rules nd shld foucs on her goal.. how many months she gona live wid them as a guest??... she shld think abt it...IMO as a carefree nature doesn't make u irresponsible which clearly she is

i think that asad's decision was justified as brother. He just wants his sister to be safe and he believes that zoya is corrupting her so he wants her out. It is true in a way najma would have never worn western cloths or cut her hair short if zoya hadn't been there. Zoya on the other hand is also not behaving as guests would in someones house and disrespecting every one of his rules. I think asad will feel guilty later on when is mother tells him that today was zoya's mom's death anniversary.

My 2 cents..

Zoya is Zoya and no one can stop her from doing what she wants (running away from her wedding, staying back in India and now this cricket match) She is an adult and very much capable of making her own decisions, so Asad shouldn't try to impose his decisions on her. We all know, no one can win against Zoya (se even won the cricket quiz bet and managed to hand over Asad's broken phone back to him)

Najma on the other hand, although an adult, is still child like especially when it comes to standing up for herself and making decisions. Even though she admires Zoya's guts, she doesn't have the courage to stand up against her bhaijaan. I think Najma should have informed Asad that she was going for the match. If she had been firm about her decision, I am sure Asad would have accompanied her or given her permission (like the hair scene in the closet) Najma is Asad's weakness and if she were to stand her ground, he would bend his rules for her. I blame Najma more that Asad or Zoya. Najma knows her brother well, and even though subconsciously, she wants to break free like Zoya, she is fearful of stepping over her brother's rules.

If anyone, Najma should intervene and try to clear the air. There is no reason for Zoya to leave the house but let's see what the writers have in store.

Hey sangeetha thanks for posting and I am glad u could Point out that Zoya has been doing enough for Najma ...Zoya saved her from the goons at college and also, helps her wnehenever necessary and it's time ASad realizes that ...

Looking forward to reading your comments often on my thread .
