Since this Ramayana is apparently incorporating no fiction, I am curious to know which source has Kaikeyi and Sita's saas-bahu drama after the wedding. That scene so far was the worst for me and I can accept everything else this show has shown if I learn that some source has written Kaikeyi as a 21st century Indian television saas.

thanks neeil for sharing iti am little bit disappointed from this version because i am unable to understand what they want to show.i can say that this show is based on fable and inspired by ramcharitmanas and other versions.many more scenes was really very disappointed but i like this show.

Yes exactly, that's also how I feel. The actors are doing a good job and I can the crew is working hard to make the background music and sets as authentic as possible, but the storyline is still flawed. I like how you said it's based on fables and inspired by Ramcharitmanas, instead of being the other way around. The main storyline is based heavily on fables whereas Ramcharitmanas is only seen in very few momenths. For example, the episodes where Ram found out about Kaikeyi's vows and took vanvaas seemed a bit rushed to me. They did not follow Ramcharitmanas or Valmiki Ramayana's chronology at all. It was a bit weird seeing Ram and Sita about to ascend the throne before Manthara stopped them, and Dashrath was never supposed to have a heart attack. He lost his senses but was very much conscious when Ram made his decision to go on vanvaas. Also, all the members of the family being in Kaikeyi's chamber at oncewas also weird, as Saint Tulsidas writes many beautiful lines about how Ram went to Kaushalya's chamber to break the news to her.I was also disappointed that they did not show Devi Arundhati's meeting with Sita, telling her not to remove her jewels because they are considered auspicious for a married woman. This scene was very important because it's written in the epic (Valmiki and Tulsidas) that Sita left the palace of Ayodhya with jewels on, as it was inauspicious to remove all of them. The only time she removed them was when she was kidnapped by Ravan and threw her jewels to Rishyamukh parvat. Sita was a pativrata stree, and patrivrata women never removed their jewels. I was shocked to see Sita in Zee Tv's Ramayana withou any jewels and without her veil on.🤔I think the show has potential and has a good star cast, but the storyline is still heavily flawed and inconsistent. When incorporating stories from different sources, the Sagars should be careful not to disrupt the flow of the story.
