Sachha pyaar!
***1***
The whole office was so dark and the only source of light came from the large conference room, the doors of which were slightly ajar. It seemed like there was a very big party going on, Manvi could hear the music and people singing and celebrating the occasion. It was a really big occasion afterall, the company Vadera Shekawath Global Gaming (VSGG) had broken all records in the stock market. It has become a multi-billion dollar company and their latest release- Halo 9, has been named a blockbuster hit by the Chronicle and every other newspaper there is. The game developer, her husband Virat Singh Vandhera, is named a genius and revolutionary icon of the modern day generation. Within the last year, he and the company had risen like a phoenix from ashes, with everybody in the industry being blown away by the magnitude of the success. Everyone envied him but at the same time they knew that he was the most kind hearted person they have seen in the recent times. Howmuch ever the atmosphere seemed tense and howmuch ever work he was swamped with, he was never cross, he was always patient and understanding. His sense of humor would make the most veteran and serious people laugh and he had his way with everyone. He was a god when it came to his programming skills and at the same time he had the most innocent smile, almost like a small kid, so pure, so true.
She stepped into the party and nobody was sober enough to notice her. Everyone was swaying to the song and she didn't have to look to see who was singing. It was him- her love, her life, her Virat. He was wearing a yellow formal full hands shirt, the front of the shirt was tucked in and the rest was out, the top three buttons were open, clumsy as ever she thought smiling. He looked as relaxed as a baby, smiling and singing while playing the guitar. If there was anything in this world Manvi was crazy about more than Virat, it was Virat singing while playing his guitar. She started walking towards him, she wanted to be on his side, next to him and she wanted him to sing to her and only her. Why wasn't he looking at her? His back was leaning against a table in the corner of the room and people were standing around him mesmerized. There was a big wine glass next to him on the side table. His assistant refilled his glass and he did not even notice that a pretty girl was ogling at him. Manvi decided to deal with her later. She walked towards him, not caring, pushing through the audience and in this process, she knocked down a drink from the hands of a man who started swearing immediately.
Manvi looked at the drunk and retorted immediately: "good that the drink got knocked out, if you had finished gulping that down too, it would have been you instead of the glass, on the ground."
Then she realized that the singing stopped and everyone was looking at her. She glanced towards Virat through the corner of her eye and what she saw irked her more. Virat was laughing loudly and uncontrollably. She walked angrily and stood in front of Virat with her hands on her hips, glaring at him.
All Virat said was: "Bandha acha khaasa party enjoy kar raha tha! Kyu pakha rahe ho use"
Manvi: : Accha? Tume uski fikar padi hui hai? aur yeh ithne sare talli longo ke beech se tumme dekne ke leyi ayi thi main. Mera kya? Tum na Virat shadi ke baad badal gaye ho..unromantic hogaye ho. Main kyu tumse milne aao. BYE! Main ja rahi ho" and turned and started walking out.
Virat was a little drunk and all he saw was his mannu yelling at him, throwing her hands in the air, red in the face. He gave the widest smile possible and chuckled. When Manvi was almost at the end of the room she heard the guitar playing her favorite song..played by her favorite person..in the sexiest voice possible..

Her anger disappeared don't know where, she slowly turned towards virat and was smiling and blushing. She looked up to see Virat slowly walking towards her with the guitar in his hand and she couldn't take her eyes away from his eyes which were filled with love and only love. He was now standing a couple of feet away from her.

Their eyes told each other untold things they could never put in words. The pain they went through, the rejection from everywhere and they were just happy to be 'with' each other'and 'for' each other all this time. They passed..They passed with flying colors.. They proved everyone wrong, everyone who said they were lost and useless. Today was an answer to all of them. She was so proud of her Virat, her heart was going gaga with pride and she could not stop smiling when she thought about Virat whom she knew three years ago. A brat, he had the same carefree attitude, but the problem was he did not want to do anything with his life. Bindaas, he used to spend his time playing video games and hanging out with his friends, clubbing and doing timepass. But now..
The song ended with everyone clapping and this brought both of them to the real from surreal. Virat wanted to get out of there now. With one hand, he grabbed a wine bottle and two glasses in the other manvi's hand and started walking towards the terrace.
