Jeevika feeling sad for Manvi's helplessness: "Arre Mannu, tu itna chinta kyu karti hai? I am telling you, everything will be alright; everyone at home misses Virat so much and it won't be long before they come around and realize how terribly they misjudged your love for each other. Viren and I are eagerly waiting for that day, the day when dadaji will accept you and we can all live together and happily forever." "Abhi tu yeh sab bhul ja, you are so lucky ki Virat tumhara itna khayal raktha hai, tum pe kisi tarah ka dukh nahi aane detha hai. So forget everything and let us enjoy this time we have, with all of us together. Ok?"

Manvi wipes her tears and smiles: "Haan di, I really hope that day comes really fast aur yeh dhuki chapter ka 'the end' ho. There is nothing more to me in my life than seeing Virat happy."

"Waise pinky chachi and Madan chachu aapse milke bahut khush honge na, we will all go together to visit. Ohh Di..(hugging her) I still can't believe you are really here, it will be just like old times, full on masti and nautanki."

Virat and Viren just walked in and they are all smiles looking at their wives so happy. Viren jokes to Virat: "yaar abhi yeh dono mile hai to pata nahi hum dono ka kya haal karenge."

All of them laugh and come together for a group hug and they were just glad to be together all such a long time. Virat then convinced Viren to shift his base to New York for the rest of his trip so that they can live together even though for a short time. Manvi and Jeevika were lost in their own world, catching up with all that had happened in each other's lives during the time they were apart. And the same was the case with the Vadera brothers, they were so tired but none of them wanted to rest as they did not want to lose even a minute of this precious time together. Manvi took Jeevika to her hospital where she was completing her residency and also researching the latest on discovering novel cancer treatments. Now, Jeevika had to leave her studies in between as she did not want to stay away from Viren after their marriage. She had to choose between staying with Viren and completing her doctor's training in NY and she did not hesitate even a wink to opt for the former inspite of Viren and Manvi being against it. However, she secretly missed being there. But, on the outside she acts as if she did not really care about it at all. After meeting all her former colleagues and professors, she came back to Manvi's lab and sat quietly deep in thought.

Manvi teasing: "Kya hua madam, kaha koye huvi ho. I am sorry, it will only 10 more minutes and I will take you back to your husband. Virat is coming to pick us up." "How was it meeting everyone after a long time? You know some people here still call me Jeevika sometimes by mistake. I miss our time here di; while you were here, it used to be fun even at school. Now it is all serious."

Then she tried to get her real feelings out by teasing her "Par tum ko iss sab se kya matlab hain na? Tum toh aish kar rahi hogi ghar pe, sab ka khayal rakna, and shopping and kitty parties etc.. ideal bahu. Right?" "Waise tumse ek baat poochu? Why didn't you continue your training in Chandighar? You could have, if you wanted to. You know Di, you would have become a great doctor if you had continued. Honestly bol rahi hu, yaha pe aadhe se zyaada log bekaar hai poore"

Jeevika felt a little bad about this sudden inquisition but then acted if she didn't care: " Is sab ke liye kaha time hai Mannu, Vadera kandaan ka bahu ke kaam simple thodi hai. Tum jab aaogi, pata chalega." "Aur ghar ke kaam se jab time bachtha hain, apne husband ke saath enjoy karti hoon! Samji!! and I am happy doing it" "Waise bhi I wanted to become a doctor because it was your dream since childhood and I wanted to be with you always, we were inseparable." " And you know right ghar mein sab mana nahi karenge par unka kuch khas accha bhi nahi lagega" " Par Mannu don't think about all this, I am so happy with Viren, I don't need anything else."

Manvi felt her situation and regretted to have broached the topic and tried to divert her attention: "So tume abhi mere saath nahi rehna hai? Pathi more important hai? Right?"

Jeevika: "Aur kya? Shadi keh baad priorities badal jaate hai.." (winking at manvi)

Manvi winding up her work and ready to leave: "Wah di, tum toh badi romantic bivi nikhli! Kaise enjoy karti ho Viren bhai ke sath?? Muje bhi thoda sikhado na" Manvi teasingly nudges her.

Jeevika: "Main jitni bhi try karo Mannu, main woh nahi kar sakthi hu jo tum ne kiya tha..yaad hai uss din, party main tumne sab ke samne Maya ko thappad marke, Virat se aapne pyaar ka izzhaar kiya tha??" Now, it was Jeevika's turn to nudge a blushing Manvi.

Manvi: " Diii… !! Chalo yeh sab choodo, mere paas ek badiyaa sa plan hai, hamare husbands ko surprise karne ka."

Jeevika excited: "Kaisa surprise Mannu?" Manvi was about to tell her but sees Virat walking in and and stops.

Virat: " What's going on ladies?? Kya secret baatein ho rahi hai??"

Jeevika: "Kuch nahi Virat. Woh, Tumare bhai kaha hai?"

Virat laughs: "Ghode bhej ke so gaye. Aap ko bhi aaram karna chahiye, chaliye aab ghar chalthe hai"

After taking care of Jeevika, Manvi comes to her room where Virat was waiting for her on the bed half asleep.

She goes and hugs him tightly: "Viraaat! I love you so much"

Virat, eyes half open, smiles pulling her more tightly: "I love you too baby"

Manvi smiles, looks at virat and in a serious tone: " Virat, aaj mujhe ek promise chahiye" (Virat opens his eyes and looks inquistive)

Manvi: "yeh ki whatever happens, whatever you feel, happy or sad, you will share it with me, you will not censor out anything." "Promise me. Promise me please."

Virat never expected Manvi to be so protective of him, she wanted to shield him from all the pain and he knew she would go to any extend to do that. He looked into her eyes and sensing all her concern he said: "I promise Manvi. I will not hide anything anymore. I miss my family very much but what happened in not your fault or my fault for that matter. It was unfortunate, the way everything turned out. But, I have no regrets about what I did, none at all and if I were to go back, I would do the exact same thing. You are my life and mein tumhare bina kuch bhi nahi hoon Manvi." "Yes, I wish to god that my family understands and accepts our relationship and I know they will, very soon. Time will heal all wounds." "So you have to promise me that you will not hold yourself responsible and that you will not feel guilty about anything. Promise me."

Manvi fighting back tears: "I promise Virat. I will try my best to avoid all these negative feelings. Hum ko future ke bare main soch na hai, past ke bare mein nahi."

She then held his hand tightly and kissed it, she then slowly kneeled in front of him, tenderly kissing his forehead, then the right eye, then the left one lovingly. With her eyes still closed, she slowly touched her quivering lips to his. It seemed like she was trying take in all his pain, all his sadness, drop by drop into herself. She opened her eyes and slowly looked up to meet Virat's eyes which were filled with tears. He felt so open, like a book, she can read all his feelings and he could not hold back anything today. He leaned in forward and kissed her lightly, looked at her eyes for a second; they were like deep valleys pulling him in, all of him; he then kissed her so intensely, there was nothing gentle about it. They were liberated, their tongues battling between themselves; his hand passing through from her neck down to her waist, sending shivers of current; it was the most sensuous and electrifying union of the body, mind and soul of two hungry lovers.

Next day morning, Virat woke up late and found his sweet heart missing in the bed. He heard voices and laughter from outside. Quickly dressing up, he went into the kitchen to find all his favorite people sitting and enjoying breakfast.

Virat: "Good Morning everyone." He looked at his bhai and bhabhi and said "You guys look much better today, you looked like bimaar people yesterday night. Lagtha hai acha neendh aaya hai." Then he looked at Manvi and smiled with a wink while Manvi tried to avoid looking at him.

Viren caught this and there were hundred different ways he could pull his brothers leg right then: " Haan bhai, we slept like logs and we so were up early too." "But looks like you were up very late last night. Kyu meri bhai? Kuch khaas kaam tha?" looking at him expecting a serious answer.

Virat flustered: "No bhai, aise hi baat kar rahe the, me and manvi"

Viren: "Baatein..righttt"

Virat trying to change the topic: " Haan woh Manvi promised me that she will share everything with me, no more secrets. Hain na Manvi? Waise tum aur Bhabhi kya baat kar rahe the kal jab mein aap ko pickup kar ne ke liye aaya tha? I think you should start by sharing that information first."

Manvi coughs on her juice: "Woh Virat..kuch nahi..hum aap dono ko surprise karne wale hai aaj..nothing important"

Virat: "Acha? Surprise? Ok..that's exciting"

Viren was excited too but then he had to leave for work. He left promising to be back early in the evening. Virat had a few errands too. Manvi had the day off and so she and Jeevika got engrossed in planning the surprise they talked about.
