Well, I want to begin with a disclaimer that this post is my opinion and does not cater to harm anyone else's feelings about the characters in the show. Strictly meant for myself and people who may share my views on this.

I want to begin by a loud applause for Hiten Tejwani. He has, finally after 6 months of entering the show, got a huge chunk of part where he can show his acting prowess and has done a brilliant job of showing his anger and anguish.

Now getting back to the couple everyone loves our beloved Manav-Archana. Manav gave his mother, Savita, the devil a good sounding about all the problems in his life so far. And Archana obviously just looked on, as usual portraying her sainthood well represented by her shining white net zardosi saree with her white stone jewellery ( which was quite apt for her character, 45+ years old, getting divorced in a week, living in a chawl and with no income currently, attending the reception of a daughter who struck a deal, and mourning the loss of the happiness of another daughter who did balidaan of her man for this saintly mother of 5).

I was appalled by the gall of these two husband-wife duo of blaming it downright on the mother and son. So you claim to be 5 year olds who can be twisted and turned like any other person wants you to? Anyway, not to take away from all the evil Savita did. I don't want to delve into her actions because e all know the root cause of evil on the show was started by her and today she has had to pay for her actions. Kudos to triumph of truth on today's epi. However, that was all PARTIAL truth. What about the second part? Soham, court case, Sulo, Varsha, Vandu, Sachin and Shravani? Man, they had a long list to cover, but ofcourse the focus will always be the mother-in-law and her vices.

But today in the epi, Manav Archana decided to denounce and selectively forget their own faults in causing havoc in their lives, and Manav at the least apologized, but Archana said " bhool jao sab kuch" humara pavitra rishta waise hi hai jaisa tha. I couldn;t beleive that the CV's did not even think of having Archu apologize for her mistakes as a wife and mother. That would have been fine. but the sheer bias towards Archana and portaying her to be a saint is just disgusting.

Either ways, Archu- Manav and their rain hug happened and I am sure there will be a honeymoon to follow soon. Archu's white shining saree helped her get away unscathed from this blame game. She looked too holy to point a finger at, I guess.

Sulo was the surprise package, hurling abuses at Savita and wishing ill-luck on her. What about you dear holy mother?you have caused enough tandav in Savita's home, while being homeless yourself. I wish Savita had at least spit out her reasoning for developing her dislike for Archana. I wish SUlo heard that half of it started with her own entry in the D household. Either ways, she acted well as a mother who finally saw justice meted out to her suffering daughter.

Poor Sachu, looked so sad, and apologetic, it melted my heart. Puru did a fabulous job and going by the precap a lot more of him to come tomorrow. However, poor thing went on apologizing and rightly so, however Manav giving him crap about shravani was so ridiculous. Remember Manav, when you and your holy wife decided to denounce your own marriage and YOU promised shravani to get married to her and raise her kid? YOU DITCHED HER at the ALTER and ran to your holy wife? REMEMBERRR? I guess 18 years and an advancing age has resulted in selective memory loss for these two adults. I wish, at least they showed Manav apologizing to Sachin for all the hurt and loss he had to go through too, even if it was Savita who made him see red in Archu. Still, apologize to a son who has lost his parents long back but then also grown up feeling neglected by the step-mom. And then telling him how he and Shravani were your responsiblity? EEEKS> But puru, good acting today. finally other actors are getting their fair chance in show casing abilities.

Purvi looked less haggered at her own loss, but seemed like she had redeemed her mother's kindness by seeing her back with her finally. Kudos, my girl, your sacrifice got the ball rolling for your mother. But you, have a long way to go, since now that Archu is all sorted, we will have 3 cry-fests continuing the saga further - Ovi, Purvi and Arjun. Seems like the girls learnt well, one from mother, one from grandma.

Someday, we will have Arjun on his knees and apologizing for giving in to her and Purvi obviously not apologizing but telling him, sab bhool jao, humara rishta pavitra hai, and I am sure Ovi will be the one to blame for messing up their lives.

For now, I am getting enough humor out of this crazy story line and waiting for some RD on screen. Eye-candy is all that is left of the show now. :P 😆
