I'm with You

Hola peeps! *drum rolls*

I'm back into the world of SwaRon writing!! *Dum de dah*

Okay... As you all know... Before the story is gonna be my own version of rantings! And no there's no need for you to sharpen your pictchforks or light your torches. I did not kill either of them, I didn't hurt them in any form or kind whatsoever!! I swear!!

Though there's a bit of sadness... and come on... everyone knows I cannot write without that!

So enjoy kiddies and oldies!! Peace to all! :D

Sharon walked out of the bathroom with a bundle of towels over which a numerous bottles were being balanced. She could see Swayam sitting on the corner of the bed. His black suit-jacket lying next to him while he sat on the bed wearing a plain white shirt with black linen pants and shiny black oxford shoes. He was fiddling with a black tie looking at the ground absent-mindedly.

"Hey when did you come?" She said as she approached her half packed bags kept on the bed. She didn't want to look up. She didn't want to meet his eyes and see them pleading for her to stay. She began settling the stuff in her bags when she suddenly felt his hand on hers, enveloping his fingers lightly around her wrist.

She froze in her place still not having the guts to look at his face. He tapped her chin and turned her face towards him. She finally met his gaze - the pained yet loving eyes that trapped her and she knew there was no escaping. Both of them stood like that facing each other for who knows how long.

Slowly Sharon jerked her head gesturing to ask him 'what'. He showed her the black tie in his hand and just smiled like a five year old kid. She chuckled and whacked him lightly as she took the tie from him. Over their two year relationship Sharon had come to know every small habit of him like that he still didn't know how to knot his tie. And he had to come to know every small memory of hers like the time when she was twelve and had learnt how to knot a tie just so that she could do it for her father who was still a lot confused about the process.

"Everyone's gonna ask me why are you missing graduation party, Sharon." He finally spoke up as she pulled his collar up and began concentrating on knotting the tie.

"I know Swayam. You know I was all set for graduation till yesterday. But you know this is a once in lifetime opportunity. Not everyone gets to join the likes of Ashley Lobo for a musical right after college. And more than anyone you should understand how much I want to prove myself before I can join Dad's company." Sharon knew she was trying to convince him more than giving him a plausible answer for their friends who did not know anything yet. The news had just come that day in form of an afternoon call while she was once again busy staring at the black off shoulder dress she had bought for the graduation party. She had blushed remembering the time in the shop when she had come out of the trial room wearing that dress and Swayam had dropped his phone looking at her. She knew right that moment that she was going to be wearing that to the party.

"I'll miss you." Swayam said breaking her thought flow.

"I'll miss you too... You know that." Her voice was thickening as she spoke, tears revolting to burst up. She swallowed but one traitor managed to trickle down her cheek.

"Sharon..." Swayam said as he heard her face with both hands. He looked at her watery eyes and crushed her against him in a tight hug. She held onto him tight and snuggled into his chest trying to lose herself in him. A few tears making their way from her eyes to his crisp white shirt soaking it.

After what seemed like several sunlight moments they finally broke away and Sharon smiled wiping away her tears and looked at him. "Damn, your shirt's ruined!" She said gasping as she covered her mouth looking at the ugly black lines of her running mascara on his white shirt.

"That's alright, the blazer will cover this." Swayam said as she chuckled looking down at his chest. "There'll be something of yours with me tonight. I won't be alone..." He said with a smile as Sharon boxed his arm lightly.

"Uff... Let me pack!" Sharon said throwing up her arms as she turned away and began packing. "My flight's in four hours!" Swayam stiffened. It was merely hours before she left. And he was going to see her after three months. He didn't know how to survive without looking at her face every day. Without looking at himself reflected in her eyes, in her love. He went out of the room. "Swayam..." Sharon said lightly as she saw him going out of the room. She sat down next to her bag on the bed. How was she going to manage on her own like this. For almost all her life she had Rey next to her and then there had been Swayam last few years. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath, mentally reprimanding herself for being a chicken and got up to pack again.

"Coffee?" She heard Swayam call from the doorway as he held two mugs in his hands smiling at her. She smiled back at him as he walked towards her and handed her one of the cups.

"Thanks." She said as she took a sip. He brushed a strand of free hair away from her face and stood next to her facing her bags holding her waist with his free hand.

"Need help?" He asked as she looked at him surprised. She had thought it was going to take time in making Swayam let her go. When she had called him after booking herself the next possible flight to Delhi that day itself, he was going on ranting about how the guys were driving him mad by making him choose suits for them and he was sick of it considering the color code of the party was black. The moment she had broken the news to him he had been happier than her not realizing that she was leaving in a few hours. After he had realized he had fallen silent for a long time and had just said that he'll come over to her place. She had to delay him by saying she was going out to get some work done and he should come over after getting ready for the graduation party. "Sharon..." He looked over at her shaking her out of her thoughts once again.

"Yeah..." she looked at him trying to recollect her thoughts. "Yeah, pass me that box kept on the dresser." She said as she tried to engage in the bags again. He moved as she closed her eyes and took a deep breath just trying to compose herself.

"These are the shoes I gifted to you..." Swayam said as he looked into the box as he brought it over

"Gee... I didn't know that!" Sharon said rolling her eyes as she took the box from him and put it in the bag closing the last of it bringing it down the bed with Swayam's help.

"I didn't know you were taking them." He said with a smile.

"I'm taking everything of yours with me." She said as she came closer and entwined her fingers in hers. "Even you."

"I know..." Swayam said as he smiled and kissed her lightly on her lips. "I want you to take one more thing with you..." He said as he took a small step back. Her eyes were questioning him as he lightly placed a ring on her finger without looking away.

Sharon gasped as she felt the warm metal on her finger and saw Swayam bend down on his knee in front of her. "Sharon Raiprakash, will you leave me tonight with a promise of being mine forever?" He asked with the biggest smile on his face.

"No." She said moving her head trying not to cry.

"Please..."

"I won't be able to leave now!"

"Sharon..."

"I'm already yours Swayam..." She said as she covered her mouth letting out a chuckle.

"Was that a yes?" Swayam asked with a confused expression.

"Obviously it's a yes!" Sharon whacked him. Swayam got up and picked him up swirling her around as she laughed out.

"I love you Sharon..." Swayam said as he placed her down and hugged her.

"I love you too..." Sharon said as she broke the hug and looked at him. "You had to ask now right! How will I go now..."

"You'll go, knowing that you'll come back to me for the rest of our lives to live it as we've planned!!"

"You suck with your timing Swayam Shekhawat!" Sharon hit his arm.

"You beat me up just too much!" Swayam said rolling his eyes earning himself another whack and hugged her hard. They just didn't care how long they stood that way. They knew this was going to be one of the last few hugs for the next three months. And he didn't care how many time he embraced her tonight, because he wanted her in his arms forever.

"Sharon baby... Car aa gayi." They heard Ramu kaka calling from the doorway as they parted. She blushed as she looked at the old servant trying to look away as he stood there.

"Kaka aap ye bags car mein rakhva dijiye main abhi aati hu." She said as she indicated the three bags near the bed. The servant took one of them with him as he went.

Sharon went to the mirror and retouched her eyes a little before strapping on her shoes and picking up her cardigan and handbag. He looked over at her sitting at the dresser. She was beautiful and elegant even in a pair of light brown pants and white silk shirt with sleeves rolled up. She strapped the beige sandals he had bought for her a few months back and she had just refused to take them because he had been buying her gifts without any reason too much. He saw the ring glistening on her finger as she tied the straps of her heeled sandals and smiled.

As she slung her handbag she went over to him and kissed him lightly on his lips. "Thank you Swayam, for the best ever gift in my life." Sharon said to him peering into his eyes. He looked at her quizzically not realizing what she was talking about. "...You." She said with a smile making him chuckle. "Bye Swayam." She said as she moved.

"Bye? I'm coming with you to the airport." He said as he realized what she was trying to say.

"No Swayam. Please..." She said without looking back. She was almost at the door and she wanted to go on from there alone not wanting to have to go through this again. But before she could take another step ahead she felt him hold her tightly as he hugged her from back at pulled her towards him.

"You're not leaving me here. I'm taking you to the airport myself!" He said sternly and she knew all the strength that had taken her to say goodbye a few minutes back had shattered. She closed her eyes and just nodded as he let her go and took her hand leading her out to the car and she just absent-mindedly followed.

She was gone. Swayam sat in the car all alone in the parking lot. It was almost an hour that she had walked into the airport, alone, where he couldn't go with her. Her flight would've left now. He loosed his tie but did not open the knot of it. He didn't feel like going to the graduation without her now. His phone began to buzz in his pocket and he irritatedly took it out not in the mood to talk to anyone. It was Sharon.

"Hello." He said sitting upright. A part of his mind was already in an imagination overdrive thinking that maybe she had ditched the plan and was outside the airport, calling him to come pick her up - and drive off into the sunset.

"The flight's about to leave." She said softly.

"Oh..." He sat back.

"I wanted to tell you something."

"Yeah."

"Straighten your tie. Fix yourself a smile. And go to the party. Don't you dare think about ditching it!" She said in a scolding tone his mom had mastered over the years. He chuckled.

"Yes boss!"

"And Swayam..."

"Hmmm..."

"I can't be happier about going than I'm right now."

"Hmmm..."

"You won't ask why?"

"Why?"

"Because till a few hours ago I was leaving as Sharon Raiprakash. Now I'm leaving as soon to-be Sharon Swayam Shekhawat." He knew she was blushing as he said that and it brought a broad smile on his face.

"I think I can live with that for the next three months."

"Me too..." Sharon said before both of them fell silent just listening to each other breathing till the flight took off.

As Swayam put the phone down he could still feel the broad smile on his face when Rey called.

"Where are you dude?" Rey scolded from the other side. Swayam chuckled remembering Sharon scolding him.

"I'm on my way." Swayam said before cutting the call as he drove out of the parking lot. He was going to go there - for Sharon.
