Whoa. I step away for the afternoon and I am made to wade through pages and pages. But first things first.
Despite watching this push, my sympathies lie with Yash and not Aarti. Yes, Yash needed this jhatka etc. But I never was with Aarthi in this hare-brained scheme and such a consequence was expected, if she didn't play it (whatever it was, really) just right. And she didn't. Aarti was completely toying with his emotions from the start. It is Yash who's has all those memories, not Palak. Palak's mostly non-existent memories, her feelings for her mom, and her consequent behavior is completely derived while Yash is the one who is the main source.
And she chose a public platform with the possibility of a public spectacle, despite knowing her in-laws' views on the matter. Even otherwise, this was not something anyone would have liked to happen in front of children, relatives and strangers. And her borrowing Arpita's things was nothing short of sacrilege in my eyes.
And I have no objection to Aarti asking for forgiveness. Stupidity has no cure, at least it can beg forgiveness.
