Part 2

The auditorium fell dead silent for a second and then echoed with resounding cheer. The next instant the silence was reinstated with the sound of the slap.

Geet didnt catch up with what happened with her. She was dumbfounded at first and then without even realzing Geet slapped the person. The sherni inside her had never faced such circumstances. She knew the world and its peaople but she had never come face to face with such things untill now. Her friends were staring at what happened. Whole of the hall was staring at them. Geet had never felt so humiliated. This was worse than humiliation for her. The only thought that came to her was DARR JI..! She wanted to go further in life. She wanted to achieve for what she had fought and she never wanted to let her DAAR JI down at any cost whether she did it or someone did to her. She covered her mouth with her hands, tears welling up in her eyes and she ran outside.

It was the first time in his life that someone that too a girl had slapped Maan. Not even his mother had ever slapped him. He had touched, teased and dumped many girls but never did anyone of them slap him or even talk bad about him. Those girls always wanted more of him. He was expecting something different but the slap was one thing which he had least expected. And then he saw tears welling up in those doe like eyes and the red color rising to her cheeks, the next moment he saw her running outside.

Everyone was quite and looking at Maan but Maan thanked his stars that the music started once again and everyone became busy in their discussions and friends.

Maan was still thinking about those eyes that his friends came to him.

Dev: dude you really should not have done that?

Rishi: tu iss chichoray.pn k leay he yaha aya tha na! so how did it feel? does it hurt? Xor ka tou nahi laga kya?

Maan: oh shut up rish..

Dev: tmhay zrurat kya thi ye krnay ki..?

Maan: Maan Singh Khurana jo chahta hay wo hasil kr k he dmm leta hay.. and i'll also have her *with a smirk on his face*

Abhi: Oh here comes the 'third person' now..!

Maan didnt wanted to listen to his friends' nonsense about what just happened. He started to walk out when he heard one of Geet's friend on phone, "I still cant find Geet." .. not giving much importance he just walked out.
