Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Abhira still feels for Vidya, urges Armaan to celebrate Mother’s Day with her

Tonight's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai episode starts with Abhira and Armaan returning home together. As soon as they enter, both notice the balloons in each other’s hands and smile happily. Soon, Maira and Mukti inform them that their school is organizing a basketball competition where parents are required to participate without fail.

Maira and Mukti then curiously ask Abhira and Armaan why they are carrying balloons. The duo explains that they saved the balloons from a little child. Hearing this, Maira and Mukti tease them and ask whether they are children themselves to be playing with balloons. Abhira and Armaan quickly defend themselves and question why adults cannot enjoy balloons too. They proudly call themselves young at heart.

Maira and Mukti continue pulling their leg by making jokes about their age. Initially, both Abhira and Armaan refuse to take part in the basketball match. However, Maira and Mukti cleverly flatter them and repeatedly call them young and energetic. Their words work, and Abhira and Armaan finally agree to participate in the basketball game just to prove they are still youthful.

Meanwhile, Vidya accidentally pushes Mukti and Maira. Worried, Maira immediately asks Mukti if she got hurt. Vidya quickly brings a spray to help them, but Maira decides to take Mukti away from there, saying they might get injured further if they stay. Vidya feels shocked by their reaction.

Elsewhere, Mamta notices Disha working and asks her to stop. Disha gets frustrated and questions why everyone has an issue with her working. Mamta then asks her what is bothering her. Disha opens up and says that Manisha feels embarrassed because she is only a housewife. Hurt by this behavior, Disha decides she wants to confront Manisha directly.

However, Mamta advises Disha not to argue with her mother-in-law. She explains that in most households, mothers-in-law are always considered right no matter what. Mamta further tells Disha that she should learn to remain quiet in her in-laws’ house because disagreements could eventually affect her relationship with Aryan and Manisha.

Later, Maira and Mukti begin preparations for Mother’s Day celebrations. Watching them, Abhira becomes emotional. Mukti tells Maira that they should celebrate the special day with Abhira as she had missed celebrating Mother’s Day earlier. Their sweet gesture touches Abhira deeply, and she hugs both Mukti and Maira lovingly.

On the other hand, Vidya silently thinks that Armaan may not wish her on Mother’s Day, but despite that, she will continue blessing him from her heart. Abhira notices Vidya’s pain and emotional state.

Soon, Mukti and Maira come up with another fun plan for Mother’s Day. They ask everyone in the family to prepare tiaras and magic wands for their mothers. Manoj, Madhav, Aryan, Manisha, and Tanya happily agree to participate and start planning gifts for their moms.

At the same time, Abhira and Armaan once again mention how carefully they protected the balloons. Abhira notices Armaan searching for something and asks him about it. Armaan reveals that he had liked a shirt online, but unfortunately it is now out of stock. Abhira playfully teases him over it.

Elsewhere, Kajal refuses to prepare anything for Kaveri because she feels Kaveri will never appreciate her efforts. Abhira encourages Kajal not to give up and tells her that if she truly feels guilty, she should at least make an effort once. Madhav and Manoj also step in to support Kajal.

Meanwhile, Krish decides to make a tiara and magic wand especially for Kajal. Aryan later tells Disha how excited Manisha is about Mother’s Day celebrations, leaving Disha upset once again.

Manisha proudly shows off her necklace, which makes Disha feel even more hurt and insecure. At the same time, Kajal asks Sanjay to celebrate Mother’s Day with Kaveri and reminds him about everything Kaveri has done for the family over the years.

However, Sanjay refuses to agree with Kajal. He bitterly says that Kaveri never truly did anything meaningful and instead always ignored the mistakes of her sons and daughters while treating her sons-in-law and daughters-in-law unfairly. Disha overhears this entire conversation quietly.

Later, Vidya is seen stitching a shirt specially for Armaan. While working on it, she emotionally thinks that Armaan may never wear the shirt made by her. Abhira overhears Vidya crying silently and yearning for her son’s love and attention.

In the precap, Vidya feels shattered because she cannot celebrate Mother’s Day with Armaan. Abhira tries convincing Armaan to celebrate the occasion with Vidya, warning him that Vidya is dying emotionally while being alive. Armaan is left stunned after hearing Abhira’s emotional words.
