Character sketch:

Khanak Abrao: born and raised in Malaysia, this girl is an outgoing indian, with problems that she hides with everyone. Not one person knows her inside out' that one person is yet to come across. She is a member of the rich Abrao family in Malaysia, who are diamond merchants, designers and estate owners. From this business family raises the unconditional girl, Khanak who is a doctor and is world renown.

She is simple, courageous, doesn't give up, challenges herself, caring, loving and a jhansi ki rani when it comes to india! She is indian, but raised in malaysia. A party- freak, adventurous, care- free and outgoing girl she may seem to the world, but she is secretive and looking out for that one prince charming with whom she can live her "happy ever after".

The rest will unfold as the story goes.

Shaantanu Khandelwal: born in mumbai, outgoing, fun- loving, don't care attitude, super hot, super cool and super super sexy! he can get any girl he lays his eyes upon, has an awesomely sizzling body. He is the son of Sunil Khandelwal who is a renowned builder. Shaan works with him, and loves his job, though he is unhappy about not creating a name for himself. he is careless, ignorant, arrogant and stubborn, due to all the pampering. Though he might seem bad, there is a soft side in him, a loving person inside of him, which he reserves for those who need it, and his family. he loves photography and painting, but never seemed to go forth with his talents.

PART 1

Encounter

Malaysia:

Waking up from her sleep at 7 o'clock sharp, she takes a quick shower, does her prayers in the little prayer area she designated in her room and goes over to Aaron's room to wake him up for his big day.

Aaron being the younger one of the two is always the one being pampered by his only sibling and sister, Khanak. He loves Khanak, adores her and always tried protecting her from anything that may come her way, as after all, she was the only true family he had had. It was his big day, he was joining the Abrao company today, as his father wished for him to and now he is going to take over the business his father built, which until now was ruled by Taj.

Taj and Fatin despised for this day to arrive, when Aaron would take over the business due to his father's final wish, which was legally stated in a will and which had to be followed to avoid the prison. Legal things, especially wills were hard to cheat in a country like Malaysia. Hence, Taj and Fatin let the law play in without "much" trouble.

Khanak knew Aaron will be good at the job, she trusted him and hoped that all the values her parents once gave her are now embedded in him as well. Khanak cared for him like a mother, yelled at him like a father, teased him like a sister and fought with him like brother, she was everything to him, she was his best friend.

After waking him up, khanak wished him luck and headed off to her work, after all she had great responsibility, being a doctor. After a days work, she headed home and got ready for the party that was held for the success of her brother.

She wore a beautiful white Mango dress, which complimented her skin tone, with bright blue pumps and long silver ear rings. She wore her fathers ring, without fail, as her usual everyday accessory. That and her mother's anklet was one thing she did not remove no matter what. She wore just the right amount of eye liner to accentuate her beautiful big black eyes and she tied her hair back in a pony- tail. She looked beautiful.

As she walked down the stairway of her mansion, Aaron whistles at her, as a tease.

A: "Wow! someone is looking hawwwtt!"

K: "oh shutup! stop saying that, im ur sister and this is super awkward!"

A: "im your friend more than a brother, so don't get me started into an argument, understand?"

K: whateva'

She goes to him and hugs him tightly, wishing him for his success.

A: "thanks di, i am what i am only because of you! i love you!"-

Khanak just smiles and feels proud of the boy she literally raised on her own.

K: "i love you too! and i am very proud of you! you are the best brother i can ever have!"

with that, they both head out to the huge patio where the party is held.

everyone looks around to face khanak when she walks out there. Everyone adores her beauty. Natasha gives khanak an envious look and tries to distract all the guys that were a second ago looking at her.

Aaron leads her to the bar and gets her a drink after.

A: " i want you to meet our new business partner! here he is!"

with that a young, around 28 year old guy comes out from the corner and stands beside Aaron. His tall figure intimidates Khanak, and his sharp looks and high cheek bones with just the right tinch of tan with prominent biceps make her stare at him a little longer than 10 seconds. his harsh, low voice paired with the softness that khanak can see in his hazel eyes makes her look deep into him.

A: "this is shaantanu Khandelwal, my new business partner, we are going to open a new hotel together in Mumbai, Shaan this is my sweetest sister, Khanak, DI, this is Shaan"

S: "hey! nice meeting you!" smiles

K: "Hi Mr. Khandelwal" smiles

S: "please, call me Shaan"

Khanaks 2 month boyfriend, Rahul comes from behind her and gives her a peck on her cheek, she gets distracted and gets into a conversation with him, leaving Shaan and Aaron at the bar.

While having a small talk with Aaron, and having a scotch on the rocks, he is thinking about the angel he just saw, there was something about her that made him attracted to her.. maybe the eyes he thought'

While having a small talk with Aaron, and having a scotch on the rocks, he is thinking about the angel he just saw, there was something about her that made him attracted to her.. maybe the eyes he thought…

He wished he could a closer look at her…

whilst he was thinking, Natasha walked up to him, attracted to him like the other girls wherever he went.

N: "Hey, Aaron bhai, whats up?" she goes up to Aaron knowing that he would be the only person that would introduce her to Shaan

A: "Hey nothing much, meet my new business partner, Shaantanu Khanelwal"

N: "Hey Shaan, Natasha, Aaron's cousin?" gives him a seductive smile

S: "Hey, wanna dance?" returns the smile, encouraging her to go on with what she started

As they are on the dancefloor, a slow song had taken into place and everyone is slow dancing…

With a sudden turn, all the gentlemen change their ladies to the men next to them.. this act continues in circles, until Khanak who had been engrossed in Rahul hands her over to Shaan.

"Finally i can see her closely" Shaan thinks

THe first thing he notices is her beautiful big black eyes and the eye liner that made them look the better. She smelled of vanilla and her hands were smooth and soft, like a baby. Her waist, petite and she has a perfect hour glass figure. Her skin tone was beautifully radiated in the moon light and her smile was worth more than 100,000. Her teeth perfect, the perfect smile that everyone woman craved for..

K: hey! you again!

S: yup me again, sooo khanak you seem good at dancing!

K: "oh yea i love dancing! i feel secure and protected when the right guy has his arms secure around me.. makes me satisfied" she smiles at him

S: "ooh! so are u feeling satisfied and secure while dancing with me?" getting his flirt on…

K: "you'll have to wait for that answer…"

S: "wait for what?"

With that, she turns and goes to the next man…

As the music stops, Shaan gives Khanak a final look and walks to the bar.. Lost in thoughts about the beautiful face he just saw, he runs into a waiter carrying drinks. Though it was his fault, he yells at the waiter.

S: What the ****!!!!! are you blind?! cant you see where you are going idiot!!

W: sorry sir, i was actually carrying the drinks and i did not notice you walking.. sorry sir!

S: you fool! you spoilt my Armani jacket! even if you sell yourself, you wont be able to buy this kind of shirt!!

W: Sorry sir!

Seeing this, Aaron dismisses the waiter. Shaan angry with the drinks spilling on his shirt asks Aaron the whereabouts for a washroom. Aaron takes him inside the house.

Seeing this, Khanak feels bad for the waiter as he was not to blame… she goes into the kitchen to see the waiter. Being very caring, she did not want the waiter to lose his job or feel bad. the pretty ok impression Shaan had created in Khanaks mind was now destroyed. She now hated him..

"After all the waiter is human as well, everyone makes mistakes, that is NOT the way people are treated, just because he is waiter! and after all it was HIS mistake he didn't even see where he was going and HE was calling the waiter blind! what does he think of himself! screw him and his stupid armani jacket!" Khanak thinks..

She goes to the kitchen to console the waiter and tells the manager not to yell at him. The manager agreed and consoled the waiter as well.

After this, Khanak goes to look for Aaron, he is in his room, waiting for Shaan.

A: "hey di! just waiting for Shaan to change"

K: "was the spill THAT bad? it was just a lemon cocktail, it will come off his jacket with one wash! why is making a big deal of it??"

A: "Di, shut up! he can hear us you know? and besides, it was a ARMANI jacket!"

K: "Aaron, don't ask me to shutup! ask your friend/ business partner to shut up and talk nicely to other people, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT IS HIS MISTAKE!"

with that, she storms out of his room and goes to the party..
