Iam 13, and an 8th grader in middle school in Virginia (near Wash DC). My dad and I drove up to NYC to see Rani at the India Day parade - as Iam a huge Bollywood fan, Iam half indian, and here are some of the things I noticed. about the parade.

Really! the organizers should have contracted with any half competent middleschool to design her float. It was sooo sloppy, bumpy - ( I saw Rani stumble a couple of times). They should have played music from HER movies during the parade to put everyone in the mood - as she was undoubtedly the star of the show. After much shouting and pleading from the road next to her float, she finally gave us her autograph. I got bumped and pushed and hit by a lady cop along the way, but it was worth it.

Next time, please guys, do a decent job of designing the float - or call me, my friends and I would have done an awesomely better job. I have organized my own 'Bollywood club' at my school, and we present Indian dancing put to Bollywood music at local schools introducing them to Indian contemporary culture. In an almost all white school, I already have more than a dozen enthusiastic members. At our last show, we did Rani's dance from Savariya 'Chabela'. And got a standing ovation inspite of our amateurish performance.

Rani deserved better exposure when she visits the US - and so do the other Bollywood stars,,

So come on down to Virginia/DC: Karina, Sharukh, Amir, Katrina, Priyanka, Salman,, Id love to show you our towns in suburban Virginia MD and DC. . Oh and if Dilip Kumar wants to visit us it would be awesome too!!!! I loved some of his old movies that my dad sometimes shows us on weekends. RAM and Shyam - tops them all.

Suggestion 1:: Shahrukh, why dont you make a remake of that movie
Suggestion 2: Whats with Indian movies now peppered with what they think is American slang, and obscenities.? Its not cool ' "Dude". Pathetic really - Wit is fine, but trying so hard to look cool, is not.

Farah Khan,, talk to those guys,, you seem to have a better handle on this than the other directors - by keeping it funny and witty, and playful. Ronnie is fine,, but the rest just try too hard. Keep it real,,, my recent favorites in that genre are: Zindegi phir kabhi whatever, 3 idiots, Bunty and Bubbly, Veer Zara, Who killed Jessica ( a little less profanity Rani - although your bitch comments were appropriate for that script).
