I third all that you both are saying - this scene can be, and has every bit of potential and reason to be one of a kind in a show where pretty much everything is one of a kind! Raman is actually a little back in the picture - because he's a loser who hasn't (in that much sense) affected GK directly... his actions have just sort of played indirect undercurrents to their circumstances.. I would be very very interested in the Durgesh truth coming out - in all respects! And yes - its time Kesar learns that Gulaal wasn't just not doing DV with Dushyant because he was the bad guy who killed Vasant - but even more so because he was the bad guy who killed Vasant to get her and did not really stop at killing! That DV would not just kill her inside to be marrying the murderer of her husband, but this man who in her lust and want had killed her husband - the idea of 'settling' with such a man can be repulsive on many ends! Kesar deserves to know the layers of that complication - which indirectly have also played a part in Gulaal keeping Dushyant's secret hidden - although it wasn't her explicit reason, but really defining Dushyant's sin was always going to be delicate with regard to her owncharacter as much! It's taken just the coming out of half the truth for ladies of the house to blame her to have tempted Dushyant! Her innate apprehension at that time can be quite credible - where or not she was consciously aware of it... She has never wished for being this intricately involved angle in her husband's murder - much less be the root cause - but that's how fate has wrapped her around its controversy!

@bold..yes agree totally..even if half truth has led the ladies to blame Gulaal..I feel for her..too bad..Imagine what this girl must have gone through keeping this secret from the family and suffering in silence waking up each day..to see the face of her husband's murderer and blaming herself for unknowingly becoming the cause of Vassy's death...Imagine what turmoil she must have faced everyday...

Anyways on a serious note..I loathe this hypocrisy in the society which blames the woman..if a man lusts or longs for her...Are can someone tell me...how is a female to be blamed if a man lusts her.If a man lusts or desires a woman...PPL just start finding..reasons*zaroor isne aisa kuch kiya hoga..jisse ye behek gaye*Sorry but I find it ridiculous..and the logic JK gives during the chaar chudail convo...is maha stupid...are someone pls go and knock some sense in that wicked lady...

Well this scene of gulaal giving the haq of knowing the truth to kesar..can be absolutely heartwrenching..if dealt with care...I trust the CV'S and lets see if they bring out the raman angle, the kidnapping of gulaal etc...I wonder what would be Kesar's reaction to the kidnapping issue...he might go mad with anger...And I seriously want them to talk about the DV..I mean they have never actually talked about it..Gulaal always told to everyone..that Her God knows that she had reasons for doing it..IF DV issue comes up...some serious truths might come into play...I think I am hoping too much...But its high time..to show this interesting convo...Hope we get a full GK episode..like the lake side confrontation...that was superbly done...⭐️

I think Gulaal was living in the guilt of being the root cause of her husband's death (though unintentionally) and so that she was punishing herself by thoroughly denying her happiness(Kesar). But once she let all her suppressed sorrows out, she will be freed and hope she will be back to that old Gulaal, the real Gulaal whom she is trying hard to bury with in her as Kesar once said.

Alanta...I am not very sure about gulaal punishing herself but yes...she bound herself to Vasant and his sapna..coz she really loved him a lot...It is simply that she could not see anyone in place of Vasant even if it was some other guy..totally unrelated...she would have never accepted him...But yes now since this is kesar with whom she has shared a special bond..has now..slowly managed to bring her out of her shell and gradually see a brighter side of life..instead of letting her remain in her glorified widowhood...On this note I am reminded of the pre DV breaking convo OF KG ...when Kesar said..It is not a matter of pride to live the life of a widow...But...yes she has probably given herself a punishment unknowingly😕

But you know after his initial refusal in the precap he also adds 'The day you think you're ready to tell me..' and Gulaal cuts him short saying 'AAJ'. So maybe his hesitancy was more about putting Gulaal in an uncomfortable position when she may not be ready to reveal everything than his fear of knowing the truth because he is in a position where he already knows about Dushyant's desire for Gulaal. Now it's only about linking that fact to Vasant's death...

Anyhoo...very excited to see how this scene plays out.

@bold and red...yes me also noticed that bit and his refusal to know might stem out from the fact that..he dosen't want to see uncomfortable in any way

Regarding the desire of dushyant for Gulaal..of course it is kept a little vague...From the lakeside confrontation..I recollect that Kesar says that Dushy wanted to marry Gulaal..but I highly doubt he knows the kind of obsession..and lust which drove Dushy to kill Vasant...Also Gulaal has never discussed about Dushy and her relation...So me also waiting for the episode to see how this goes😳

I hope she tells him everything - how she found out about V's murder, Dushy's attitude towards her before and after she got married to Vasant, Raman and JK plotting to get rid of Kesu, the pressures on her to marry Dushy just so that she could live in the house...EVERYTHING! Maybe the kidnapping bit will come out too (or is that me being tooo hopeful?)

I do have very expectations from today's episode as well but like Piu mentioned, we had such high hopes for Kesu's letters and that just went phusss!! I have a feeling that if today Gulaal tells Kesu everything he will feel very very guilty. After all he has harbored so much anger and hatred for so many years and all this negativity was based on a conversation he overheard as a child.

Jzee, I love those scenes...those scenes with Gulaal and young Kesu are my all all time favorites! There have been so many times when young Kesu said or did something that laid the foundation for the future of the show and that just amazes me! Have you guys seen the WWW newsletter thread? They have made an AVI where they show Gulaal's first grihapravesh with Vasant getting all botched up because of Kesu and then her actual Griha pravesh with Kesu on Friday (or was it Thursday)!!!!!!!!!! I was seriously awestruck to see those two scenes put together...this show is just something else altogether. Goes to show that the CV's never lost track of how they wanted to develop the story!!! Hats off to these guys!! 👏

Do read the WWW newsletter and watch that AVI right at the end of the thread!!

JZee, thanks for that video. And like Reema says, I believe he is refusing because he does not want her to feel pressured into discussing. That is why he says, "jis din tumhe lage, ki AAJ mujhe". I am sure Gulaal intends to tell him everything that happened in her life. She says "aaj mei tujhe meri yeh sacchai jaane ka haq dena chahti hoon". It surely means that she intends to share the secrets that she has kept buried inside. She trusts Kesar, so when she says she wants to share that truth that she has never shared with anyone, it means she trusts him for revealing the dark secrets that she has buried deep in her heart.
I am sure she will not keep aside one truth and give him half the information. With time, she has placed that faith in him. So long, she has shared it with Vasant's photo through her diary. Today, she wants to give him the right to know her secrets. This trust is important in a couple's relationship, a husband has the right to know his wife in and out. So she will tell him about being kidnapped too.

This time I was less lazy and downloaded some recent clips =) But still couldn't sit through an entire song - sigh!

Inspired by the symbolism in Friday's episode - with Kesar's desire/need for Gulaal surfacing from beneath its imposed latency again...!

Enjoy watching, and review please!

Very nice VM ...and my heart too says with Kesar - "ab naa khayaalon mein , naa sawaalon mein...Baahon mein aao tum..." I cant take the boys pain any more , as the man in him longs to be free and have his Gulaal become his forever... and yet the dream seems ever so elusive...

Oh Kesar , my heart aches for thee, will there ever be another like you ?
