Rinku pens an emotional note for his late father
In an emotional Instagram post, Rinku shared that he had never gone so long without speaking to his father and couldn't imagine life without his guidance. He remembered his father's teaching that duty always comes first, which motivated him to continue playing. While achieving this dream, Rinku acknowledged that every moment of joy would still feel incomplete without his father.
Aapse baat kiye bina itne din kabhi nahi nikale. Mujhe nahi pata aage ki zindagi aapke bina kaise chalegi… par mujhe har kadam par aapki zaroorat padegi, Rinku wrote in Hindi. He also mentioned that his father had always instilled in him the value of prioritizing duty above all else.
Aapne sikhaya tha ki farz sabse aage hai… toh field par bas aapka sapna poora karne ki koshish kar raha tha. Ab aapka sapna pura ho gaya hai… toh bas yahi lagta hai ki kash aap mere paas hote, he expressed his wish that his father could have been present to see India win the trophy.
Rinku expressed that every moment of joy would now serve as a reminder of the emptiness left by his father's passing. Har chhoti badi khushi mein aapki kami khalegi. Bohot miss karunga aapko Papa… bohot zyada.
