well, like someone said,if u were to compare every scene, character, costume etc, then u can say that pretty much any movie is plagiarized, inspired, ripped off from another...Hum dil de chuke sanam was plagiarized from woh saat din and Mouna ragam in that case...
of course we have original films in mainstream cinema...
Rang de basanti and the Munnabhai series were original..Kaminey was original, Band baaja baraat was original, OUATIM, DCH, 3 idiots, NOKJ,Love sex aur dhoka, delhi belly...they are all original...
If u were to draw parallels and say that "kaminey was a ripoff of pulp fiction", or "LSD was a rip off of paranormal activity" or that "delhi belly was a rip off of Lock stock and 2 smoking barrels" then thats ridiculous...
just because they have similar taking styles and belong to the same genre doesn't mean they are a rip off...
same with agent vinod...if u watched the director's previous 2 films johnny gaddar and Ek hasina thi,u would realise that hes one of the most intelligent and original filmmakers we have today...
