I remember watching an old interview of Ameesha Patel and she said she was the original choice for Chalte Chalte and her manager told srk and his team that her calendar is busy and she does not have dates. She was angry when she found out her manager rejected the movie because she would've found a date in between shooting for the multiple movies she was shooting for at that time.
