Chapter 43 – Ab Kya Karein?

Geet sat with an angry glare looking outside the window muttering under her breath "Mujhe kitni bhookh lagi hai aur is dusht danav ko koi farak hi nahi padta…huun…hero to aise bante hain pucho nahin…Maan Singh Khurana….loves you….love my foot….itni bhi fikar nahin hai meri….Babaji kuch to akal dete na aap inhe…chado…Babaji bhi kya karenge…ek hi sample piece banaya hai chun ke"

Maan looked sideways at the muttering angry Jaan of his and thought – "She looks damn hot when she is hot with anger"

Maan kept quite and that was infuriating her further. She kept abusing him verbally when she saw him taking a turn towards a dhaba sign peeking out of some trees. After going some meters down the road, he stopped the car in front of a dhaba which was illuminated with bright lights.

Geet jumped in excitement – "Thank God, kuch akal ayi aapko"

Geet went inside literally pulling Maan behind her. She stopped short suddenly making Maan bump into her.

Geet – "Yeh to khali hai!!! Yahan to koi bhi nahin!!!"

Maan snaked hi hands around her waist. Her back was still glued to his chest. He whispered in her ears repeating her words –"Why...are you scared?"

Geet felt his breath on her neck and she moaned – "Maan"

Maan just smiled and pushed her a little forward. Suddenly, there was shower of rose petals on her. She was surprised and twirled around as flowers caressed her. She stopped to notice an open garden lined with trees. They were all decorated with white lights giving an impression of hundred stars twinkling between the leaves.

In the middle were two manjis (cot made out of rope and wood like the ones usually present in dhaba and shown in GHSP) and a table.

(Disclaimer – Guy, most of this and next chapter is inspired by different events in GHSP which are memorable part of the serial we all love. But as these have been used widely so there may be similarities with other FFs. Though I have put my own spin but some kind of repetition is unavoidable. I will just say that I will still give credit to GHSP and apologize to any writer who feels this is close to what they have written. It is totally unintentional)

Geet was really surprised – "Wow…this is beautiful….Maan aapne yeh sab mere liye kiya….lekin kab"

Maan walked closer to her and held her hands. "We have been for coffee and drinks and for dinners with family but this is our first dinner date...so thought I should make it special…so while going I planned it…I am happy you like it"

Geet stepped closer. They were still holding hands and their foreheads were touching. "It is really beautiful but you know what is the most special about it"

Maan frowned- "But you haven't even eaten so how…"

Geet interrupted "phir bhi I know"

Maan – "Acha, what is it…rose petals?"

Geet – "Nahin"

Maan – "lights?"

Geet – "Nahin"

She jerked her hands away and shouted "aap" running to the cot and sitting there.

Maan stood there dazed at his naughty Mishti.

Geet – "Aap wahin khade rahoge…aao na"

Maan moved towards the manji and started sitting.

Geet made a baby face and patted next to her – "yahan baitho na…I want to be close to you"

Maan chuckled but sat opposite to her. He called someone and suddenly a waiter came with food. He placed everything on the table. Geet's eyes widened looking at the food – Tandoori chicken, paneer makhani, daal makhani and tandoori roti.

Maan grinned as he knew how much Geet relished typical Punjabi food.

Waiter – "Saab sab kuch thik hai…aapko kuch aur cahiye"

Maan – "Nahin…sab kuch bahut acha hai…thanks"

Waiter just smiled and disappeared as quickly as he had come.

Maan got up and now sat next to Geet, hugging her from one side.

Maan - "chalo ab khao". He tore a little piece of roti and dipped it in daal and brought it close to her lips. He was startled by the tears forming in Geet's eyes.

Maan – "Kya hua Mishti…kahin tum ab bhi us De…"

Geet stopped Maan by putting her finger on his lips. "Nahin Maan…yeh to bas aise hi…aap bahut pyar karte ho na mujhse aur main kitna pareshan karti hoon aapko"

She removed her hand from his lips and moved to his nape into his hair. "Aap khud to deewane ho aur mujhe bhi deewana kar do ge"

Maan bent down his face to be even more close then they were "Nahin Geet, main jaanta hoon ki tum mujhse bahut zayda pyar karti ho…as a matter of fact I think I can never match the amount of love you have inside you…I may be able to express my love but I know you love me much more"

Geet smiled – "Maan aap to bilkul philosophical ho gaye ho"

Maan chuckled and could not resist the temptation anymore. He finally did what he has been itching to do now for a long time. They both were lost in the kiss when suddenly Geet felt something hot and wet on her foot.

Geet – "Ahhh"

They both parted and stared to find the bite which was in Maan's hand on her feet with Daal smeared all over. They both burst out in a laugh. Maan took some water and helped her in cleaning her foot.

Maan took another bite and put it in her mouth while Geet cocooned herself in his arms. He took another bite but Geet stopped him. She took the bite from him and put it in his mouth. They lovingly and slowly fed each other till both were full.
