Maan (angry): nahi karogi??? What the….why are you not telling me everything clearly??? Tummhe ho kya gaya hai??? Kyun nahi karna chahti ho sign?? (he looks at his watch): leave it….am getting late for the meeting. When I come back I want to see you signature on those papers….samjhi tum!
And he left her cabin, talking in the phone, with a door shutting with a bang behind!!!
Geet sat there….she never wanted all these….definitely not this! All she ever wanted and desired was Maan….Maan and only Maan. She thought for a long time and decided to ask some time from Maan.
Maan finished his meeting and sat in his cabin thinking about the Singhanias.may be dadi was right. But his parents' death….he has to look through them carefully. And again another thought came into mind……when they entered into partnership with KC, then Dev & NT tried to support all their expenses, and then there was some accusations on Geet too….what were their intentions??? Were they trying to take over KC? Or they were after Dev's share???
Nevertheless Maan thought, he should keep things a little away till any serious incident crops up. Till then he'd enjoy his life with geet – his world.
Then his thoughts drifted towards geet. He felt really miserable for having shouted at her…that too on the first day of her office! He was trying to force her to sign the papers. That was not a correct step! He should have given space to her thoughts, her opinions and her views!
Maan (to himself): wo to kitni naraaz hogi! Ek kaam karta hoon….aaj ghar jaldi jakar usse baat karta hoon. I'll also have dinner with her and I need to apologise too!
Geet that day left for home early. She was sad but very concerned about Maan! She thought for a while, " mujhe unhe iss tarah manaa nahi karna chahiye tha! Afterall wo jo bhi karenge it'll be for everybody's good. Pata nahi wo kitne naraaz honge aaj. Haan! Ek kaam karti hoon….aaj ghar jaldi jakar unke liye ek chota sa surprise plan karti hoon….he'll feel nice!"
She reached for dadi's room as soon as she entered the house.
Dadi: geet bte…..aap itni jaldi??? Office ka pehla din kaisa raha?
Geet was looking a little distracted…..dadi could understand that there was something not right!
Dadi: kya baat hai bte??? Sab theek to hai na? aap itni pareshaan kyun lag rahi hain?
Geet: wo…Dadima…wo…
Dadi: geet….bete hum pehle aapse kuch kehna chahte hain!
She made geet sit beside her and continued!
Dadi: you see, you and Maan are man & wife now. Agar aap dono ke beech kuch bhi ho….you need to sort it out within yourself first because it is you both's understanding that has brought you together! And remember, always try to find the solutions of your arguments by love and compromise….bringing a third party to sort your problems will only cause more troubles for you both and you both don't want to mess up your relationship right?
Geet was listening to her every word very carefully…dadi noticed it too.
Geet: ji Dadima….i can understand very well what you wantn to say!
A cute smile touched her lips. Now she understood what she needed to do to calm his anger…..hmmm!!!
Dadi: bte…you wanted to talk about something??
Geet (smiling): no Dadima…its okay!!! I love you!!!
She hugged Dadima tightly. Dadi was happy that she really understood what she wanted to say!!
Geet: ummm Dadima….can I borrow the outhouse tonight?
Dadi: sure beta…its your mayka afterall, if that's what makes you and Maan happy, then how can I refuse?
Geet had left left everything as it was in the outhouse. She took some servants along with her and prepared everything.
Geet (monologue): Maan is so busy nowadays…..unhe to ghar aane ka bhi time nahi milta and he is always tired! Well…we hardly get time for each other. He comes home so late that am already asleep by then. But not today…..TONIGHT HE REALLY NEEDS TO SEE HIS WIFEY!
She couldn't control her thoughts going wilder and wilder!

Maan tried to finish all his works as early as possible to reach home super early and surprise geet. But to his bad luck (…or say good luck) he suddenly got an urgent call from the board of directors and he had to leave for the meeting there and then! He had to run to the meeting!!!
Maan (monologue): ohh my GOD!!! What the hell is going on? I haven't been able to spend time with geet since our trip to shimla. I couldn't take her to a proper honeymoon…and now am not even able to give her time! This is great…just great…(he brushed his hair backwards out of frustration)! Oh god…how can you do this to me? Geet must be sooo sad about what happened today…pata nahi usne theek se khana bhi khaya hoga ya nahi…and just look at the wretched me…..i thought I'd at least talk to her and have dinner together…but alas…this stupid meeting! Dinner to board of directors ke saath hai!! Huh…Damn….
He immediately called geet to inform her that he'd be late but much to his surprise her phone came switched off! Now that was strange….she never missed his calls..neither did she switch off her phone all so suddenly…but why today??? She must be real upset…oh god..he seriously needs to make up with her…..or that's what he thought! He called dadi and asked her to inform geet that he'd be late and have his dinner at the meeting.
Meanwhile, Geet prepared everything and left for the outhouse! She knew he'd have his dinner outside…she had taken all the details from Adi about his meetings and all!
She prepared a small coffee table on the terrace…yes dears…the same terrace where Maan had handed her his letter of desires! She felt nostalgic.
So basically it was not any kind of dinner or so….she put the chairs, prepared his coffee and arranged for a small music player. She wore her usual "patiyala style" night gown. It had a deep cut neck both in the front and at the back. She tied her hair loosely side her neck and waited for Maan!!!
