Just catching up the March and April episodes on you tube again. I was wondering what was the point in taking the strory from Devghar to Meertu? I thought the village suited the storyline just fine.

Also they really did not need to introduce Amoli's new family at all too.

oh here is wot i think........
i also think the Meerut track was annoyingly boring......... village track was fine...... some epi's were really unnecessary.... as it is i didnt like the mellow DV it was to quick a change .........ranvir was good n suave but he doesnt beat DV..... u may disagree wiv me..... then this whole focus being transferred to Meerut n Pundir family...... nope i didnt like it......
If i had to defend this then ok they wanted to show that Amoli was also from a powerful background ....to go against DV.......but did it help?? no remember one push from DV n Harsh went flying to 1 side n all quiet........ n could he help Amoli when DV grabbed her arm...... no it was Amoli herself who fought against DV..... rather her being part of the Pundirs helped DV 😆
n it was DV's mind that won after all......... his plan of becoming ranvir......n marrying Amoli.....n then revealing the truth to her as well........ Amoli hated him anyway......... so even he would have married her after radhe's death n then tried to win her love wouldnt it have been similar like winning her love after marrying her as ranvir??......
this one i do agree DV was a changed man ..... he was able to show us viewers how much he had transformed during the Meerut track...... but couldnt he have done that as DV in Devgarh ??

yaa. i agree with you.i didnt also like the meerut track, except amoli - Dv/ranvir scenes. but as we know Dv is not a typical grey caracter that Cvs could change him suddenly.if they show Dv changing day by day, DVs caracter would loose its power, so Cvs prefered not to show that. its while pretending to be Ranvir, Dv realised how much he loves Amoli and he isnot that bad. 😃

i admit they mainly introduced the meerut track for new side characters and also to show that Amoli now had money and how different she would react to him now that she was also powerful and also for DV;s sake

again; i am sure they would have utlised the side characters well if the show had not gone off air

I agree with all ur views here.

What I feel is that the Meerut track was essential mainly coz DV would never have been able to change himself contg. as DV in Devgadh, even if he tried to do so to prove himself good to Amoli. She would never accept or believe that he's become good if it was DV, as she felt only hatred & vengeance for DV. She saw a difft. person in Ranvir eventually & thatz why she could believe in him, which was why DV's plan was soo successful.

Moreover, the side characters were brought in so that it could be proven to DV that Amoli is not poor & she also belongs to a rich family, so he can't exploit her on those lines, as he does the other poor villagers.

But just wish that after DV/Ranvir's & Amoli's marriage, the Meerut family contd. to be shown......coz it's hard to believe that parents marry off their daughter & never enquire abt. where she is or how she's doing.😕

I guess ur right Roshani ...... it would have been hell for Amoli to see let alone accept DV as he was in Devgarh wiv all those sad memories of radhe for her ...... so yep i guess as much as i didnt like the Meerut track like u all didnt it showed us the change in DV which Amoli also saw n admired......
but Amoli being their daughter didnt help her at all..... even if it was to show that she is no less than DV .... they didnt use that idea properly in fighting agianst him

the meerut track also showed to what extent DV can go through; i mean she knew he could kill and all that but to the point of changing his very own identity and the fact that he needed to marry her if he needed to tie her to himself forever also had to be shown in such a way that she married in a slightly willling way and not forcibly married...
