Shaurya left Maithali with the old man for a little privacy. It wasn't his business to interfere in the old man's business. There were plenty of things he didn't understand. What was it with all the secrets? His family were prone to hiding their identity. Now Pia entered the frame. The world realy was a strange place. His family were strange people. Shuarya went into the connecting room next door to gather their belongings. By nightfall they'd arrive to their destination. It was where the body was kept in a cryogenic stasis of some sort. It was all he'd been told. Whose body it was he had no idea? It was a female with long curly hair but she was surrounded with an invisible protective wall. So he had no idea what the woman looked like? How was Piya involved in all this madness he'd wondered. He'd soon find out within a few hours.

Maithali sat next to the aging man before her. he was lying down. He wasn't too old. His eyes seemed familiar. Had she seen him from somewhere? She never forgot a face. After 200 years trapped in a painting Maithali knew anything was possible. Abhay was alive due to his nature and Tara was drinking vampire blood other than this no human could outlive past a century. So this man couldn't be from her time. The room smelt musty. It was cluttered with artefacts and some strange Sanskrit of some sort. As a child Maithali had studied it with her Guru but her mind was always focused elsewhere so she couldn't translated what they were for.

Old Man-I can't believe this moment has finally arrived. Watching my princess come back to us in the flesh.

Maithali was puzzled by the old man's frank words-I don't understand.

Old man-I've waited for this moment for 200 years since i was a young child. U were a teenager then.

Maithali found it hard to believe what this man was saying. He wasn't a vampire or a warlock-How is this possible?

Old man cracks a smile watching Maithali stumped-U still look the same as U did then but your rightful place isn't in your current vessel but back in your own body. We've preserved it with the purest form of magic. I can see U are still wondering how i'm still around.

Maithali began to see the logic now. She'd heard of this folklore from her father but thought it was all made up as a bedtime story. How wrong was she?-So what the hell am i then? What are we doing here? The stupid ring i was told to wear what's it's purpose?

It was the only way to protect U from moving on. The woman was deranged. Scared the hell out of me as a child. U loved hertoo much blindly trusting on her every word. The ring calls out to our kind. Dai Maa must have figured out your death would seal our fate. It protects us from death but excessive use of powers in human for counter attacks the effect hence why i am in this state in front of U. I've misused the powers formy obsession in finding U to break this curse but in the end there is no way to end it. With Dai Maa gone so is the cure. The ring brings protection to the owner from supernatural death. I have so much to pass on to U my princess. Now we mustn't lose a single second. We have to get U in your body. Maithali has the go back in her body its been long enough and Pia must keep hers. Her mind has taken in too much.

Maithali only just remembered Pia. She owed the girl a lot. Her gratitude wouldn't cover it-If i leave will there be any damage to her? I mean will she recover. I don't want to scar the girl for life. She's been like a sister.

Old Man-Who know's my princess? Anything is possible. It depends on how strong the girl was to start off with and if she has any fight left inside her. she was created to hold U in her. Dai Maa has specifically created another girl in your image to sustain U inside for the duration. Only downside was with a body there must be a soul inside it. This too the purest of the kind. Maithali was flabbergasted by this new revelation. It was certainly an eye opener. Pia was the most angelic person she'd ever come to know on a deeper level. Pia being selfless was an understatement-I don't know what to say. This is all such a mess. I didn't want to know this. It's all on my conscience. In hindsight if i'd have known all this was going to play out like this i'd never had gone to Dai Maa. (Maithali was p****d off at her nanny) She's ruined all of our lives.

Old man coughs while Maithali hold him still-I heard about your man. The one who died the same fateful night with U. Only he turned while U lay in a deep sleep. We made a treaty with his kind to protect ourself from being extinct. We've been wiped out by vampires and hunters. Itwas only way to keep our line going on to the next generation.We have to go now. It's already late. Tonight we have to shift U back in before Pia's come to any permanent damage. The ring will protect her. The ring works with your dynasty and it's already acknowledge Pia as the true owner. It's mental strain is what i'm concerned with. We'll need her blood to channel U back inside. It's the only way to open the invisible shield around your body.

Maithali was reeling inside from the blast she'd received. The guilt engulfed her-What if i refused to go in what then? Would Pia be safe. I could just leave and never bother her again.

Old man laughed at Maithali as if she'd said something funny-I'm afraid it's not how it works. Both of U would be lost forever. You're connected already.

Shuarya came out of the adjoining room with a bag-So Pia we all set?

Maithali nodded-We'd better take a few blankets for your Dad.

Misha had overheard an entire conversation between Pia and the old dude. Wow this was trippy. Was Pia like possessed? No wonder she was acting all strange. At times she was almost a different person. It was at nights mostly. Was this some kind of a prank? Misha was a master at setting people up for a fall. They didn't know Misha was here in the first place so no it couldn't have been a sick joke. Misha had her mouth open. She'd been careful not to open her mouth or even make a noise. This was intense Misha thought. She had finally met a ghost. When did Pia get hijacked Misha wondered? How was this even possible? This Lycanthropic deal was far out. What the hell was it? What curse was it? None of this made any sense. What were these people? Were they for real? She had the hots for a what? Misha's head was spinning she had to sit down or better yet get the hell outta here before she got caught. She had to reconfigure her digits in place. Misha was for the first time actuallt lost for words. She ran down the stairs quickly shutting the door behind her. she had to wait for them to make their move and follow them out. Seeing is believing. It was her new motto in life. She might have misunderstood their conversation. Either this or she was away with the fairies. Misha wondered if she should call someone? Kabir was useless. He'd probably laugh at her. She knew if the role was reversed she'd laugh at Kabir. Misha pondered on her action should she confront them? Were they dangerous. Pia wasn't exactly Pia and Misha wasn't her brave self right now. She had to be on her toes. Think Misha! Think! Dad was into this s**t but he was out of town. Abhay fancied Pia like crazy. He was weird in a dark kind of way. He never poked fun at her she thought rationally. Hell Tara seemed like she was into this freak show. The girl had knowledge on the dark arts. Misha on the phone heard the beep sound-Pick up Abhay. Come on! Pick up before they get out.

Abhay saw Misha's name illuminate on his mobile. What did she want? He needed to get his mind from going stir crazy. He picked up-What's up Misha? Why are U calling me out of the blue?

Misha rambled out very fast-Pia is Maithali U have to come fast. They are all leaving. Shaurya is a Lycanthrope whatever that is Abhay. I don't know what kind of s**t this is but i f***ing freaking out here.

Abhay graoned out loud putting Misha on speakerphone-Tell me exactly what's going down there and what are U doing there?

Misha didn't have time to do a dissection of the events-Maithali is trading Pia for a new car. She is going back to her old motor. So this s**t is really true then. I don't hear any disbelief in your voice. Just fear for Pia!

Tara-Misha listen to me carefully. I want U to follow them if they leave we are almost there. Give us directions in a text. They will hear U if U say it out on the phone.

Misha curses under her breath-S**t they are leaving. Headed for the car with the old man in tow. Pia's with them. I mean Maithali. Well whoever she is. S**t they are looking around.

Abhay-Misha stop hyperventilating. Breath slowly and quit talking and start following them.

Misha mocked-On foot? I'm not an athlete.

Tara-Misha do U have any belongings with U? U know a keepsake?

Misha puzzled-I have my hair brush with me with my hair on it.

Tara-Good i want U to go over there and place it on the car.

Misha gasped-U want me to do what?

Tara-Do as i ask woman.

Abhay-Just follow them Misha and we'll do the rest.

Misha directly went over to Shaurya shouting his name-Shaurya wait up.

Shaurya glared at Misha-What now Mish? Was that U before in the house?

Misha gave him her most innocent eyes-What? I was on my way home when i realized i had Pia's work with me. Can i talk to her? It will only take a minute please.

Shaurya was about to say no when Misha barged right in dropping the hair in the car. Misha got out her book giving it to Pia-See U at College Pia. Don't be late.

Maithali-Misha i won't be needing this.

Misha took the book back-Oh Ok. See Ya.

Shaurya wanted to know what Misha was playing at-Mish what are U really doing here?

Misha was nervous but held herself together-I was trying to get your attention coz i fancy U dumb a**. There i said it. I was jealous of U spending time with Pia. So i came back to check if U guys were U know dating?

Shaurya saw Misha's eyes gave nothing away. She was telling the truth-Ok then now can U leave? We have to go somewhere. Bye

Misha watched Shaw take off with Pia in tow. Maithali. This was some heavy s**t. Misha saw her phone was still on.-Ok Boss! We're all set.

Misha put the phone down coding the text message with L for left and R for right and the turns they take. By then they were just a speck from a far. Abhay had caught up with her. Tara came out to access the area. This was a place where horror movies were made. Or should be made. It was the perfect scenery for it. Lifeless bone and dry tress all around. Tara placed a spell to light up Maithali's footprints. This is where they had to arrive on foot. No other way of getting to them. Misha did a good job of bringing them to this place. Tara would have never managed getting here with magic. They needed something not related to the dark side. Misha was as human as they could get. Not tainted in any way.

Abhay had a thunderous look on his face scaring the s**t out of Misha. He was silent but deadly the worst combination. His eyes were dark. His shoulders seemed stiff. He was carrying a chip on his shoulder alright. Misha had wondered what it was like to be inside Abhay's head. He was always so aloof. He kept only Tara as a companion while the rest could go to hell. How did he come to be such a pain in the a**. Misha hated the silent types. They always made her feel uncomfortable but Abhay was a guy she'd grown to respect over the past few months. His layers were coming down. His shield no longer held strong. The fortress was under attack. Misha saw the concern plastered all over Abhay's face for Pia. A yearning in his eyes for something he craved but could never have. This man was so misunderstood by the world. If only she could see past all the barriers he put up. He intrigued her like no other man before him did for her. Abhay gave Misha a glance glaring at her for staring at him.

Abhay moaned-Misha will U stop burning a hole in my head? You're putting me off.

Misha was too nervous about Pia. So she placed her thoughts on Abhay-Sorry. I didn't realize i was doing that. U have some really deep eyes Abhay. Never noticed it before.

Abhay scoffed-Probably because U were too busy hating on me. Now will U keep quiet?

Misha hated people telling her what to do-No i don't take orders Abhay. So how is this s**t possible? Why are U so grouchy Abhay? U don't give a rats a** about Pia? Right so what are U doing here?

Abhay glared-Does this look like a big joke to U? We are in the middle of some serious s**t and all U want are answers.

Misha-My friend is going through the mill Abhay. I deserve to know the truth. I'm not a kid. Shuarya and his Pops are doing some freaky s**t to Pia. I heard she might be fried in the process. I need to put my brain to use in a constructive manner. U are still elusive Abhay. Out of reach. I wanna know why U do this? Pia's been trying to keep U away from her too. I've seen her tortured. Crying into her pillow at nights. I wanna know why she's being such a martyr for a guy who could care less about her.

Abhay-We could do this some other time?

Misha-So U can blow me off? Who is this Maithali Abhay? What does she want?

Tara-Don't look at me Mish. It's his love life. Only he can give U the answers. I'm just here to help Pia.

Abhay just wanted her to shut up. Ignoring Misha was aggravating him even more-I love Pia. There Happy Misha. I can't see her getting hurt. This spirit possessing her is the result of the Qila. It's why Pia kept on going there. Both Maithali and Pia are connected from long back. Don't ask how or why? I don't understand it myself.

Misha wanted to know about Abhay-Why do U keep us all at bay Abhay? Why do U make out U can't stand us?

Abhay-Because i can't stand U that's why. I hate whiny girls. I hate people prying into my business. I can't stand your posse. I hate people who have a life. I hate fun. I am just filled with hate that do it for U?

Tara hushed Abhay-I think U are going out of line now Abhay. Stop this rant.

Misha touched a raw nerve-So U really don't care about people. That is the biggest b**l s**t i have ever heard. U show one thing but do the opposite Abhay. I'm beginning to see U in a different light. I can see what Pia see's in U. She always did see the good in people. I always wondered what good she saw in U. Now i know. U hide behind a wall so nobody gets too close to U. But inside U really care about people Abhay.

Tara saw the trail heading down the hill-I think they've headed this way. Abhay control yourself.

Abhay chse to ignore Misha's waffling on about how much he cares about people. The girl was doing his head. She really was Pia's sister. Both got under your skin. He could never hurt either girls-I can smell them.

Misha was finding Abhay rather odd-U can smell them?

Abhay had his foot in his mouth-I mean smell Pia's perfume.

Misha-U really do Love her Abhay. See U do care.
